"Movie not loaded" in all browsers except IE

Hi,
The movie (http://www.ross.no) has worked unchanged since July 2009, until it recently stopped in Chrome, Firefox and Opera.
Internet Explorer is working.
Both version 10.3.183.10 and 11.01.152 have this problem.
Regards
Morten

Additional info:
I just updated Flash for IE from 10.0.22.27 to 10.3.183.10 (I rarely use IE), and now the same occurs in IE8, so somewhere between the two flash versions an update has been introduced that prohibits the movie to be run in any browser on any operating system.
The movie looks like this:

  • .dmg and. zip webpages will not load through all browsers so I cannot download from sites

    hi all,
    i have had this problem since i bought my Mac Book. When trying to load a .zip or a .dmg webpage, it will start loading the page and than stop. Without dispaying nothing only a white page. I wont show me any errors or nothing, just stop loading,
    I have upgraded to snow leopard maybe it will stop doing this but useless. I tried using Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla and still the same.
    Please help
    Thanks folks

    thanks for the quick reply
    i tried everything you told me but its still not working. When i try and download its redirecting me as every download page should do, so that ok. But when the .dmg and .zip page will start loading it will stay blank and stop loading on.
    I checked the download folder and even the preferences and nothing is showing up. I think its more of a permission problem than from the browser since all browsers are doing this.
    I had Norton 2010 installed and was removed maybe it was the source of the problem but still.
    More help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Teo

  • RSS Not Working in All Browsers Except Safari?

    I've recently used iWeb to make a website (not .mac) and has been completely Validated at w3, and passed with no errors in the coding.. except when we go to use the RSS Feed Button in Firefox for Mac, Firefor for PC, Internet Explorer for PC.. the page comes up with errors - and displays a message saying: "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." and simply displays the Coding. So i checked the RSS page at w3 Validator and it failed because of an Error on line 42. The line 42 is this:
    <description><a href="http://users.bigpond.net.au/bjsp1/lacc/News/F4CBD4AA-E949-44E0-A31C-61159 9D79BD8files/DSCF1400%20copy1.jpg"><img src="http://users.bigpond.net.au/bjsp1/lacc/News/Images/DSCF1400%20copy.jpg" style="float:left; padding-right:10px; padding-bottom:10px; width:130px; height:130px;"/></a>Hello Everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates - we’ve had some technical difficulties - but were back with a new design and some more user-friendly pages. <br>
    So far the only error i can see is the &lt/a&gt etc.. errors, but it could have been an error caused by a change of programs (to get the actual line i opened the file in Microsoft Frontpage) Any ideas of why it is not working in any browsers, and how to fix it?
    Thanks!

    Yes, I'm puzzled by the whole RSS thing as well.
    Clicking on RSS subscribe from my website in Firefox
    gives me the same error. But if I click on the RSS
    icon in the address bar of Firefox, it seems to keep
    track of my site updates just fine.
    That's right. I forgot that FireFox has its Live Bookmarks feature which is basically the same as an RSS reader. While the subscribe button doesn't do anything, FireFox scans a page being viewed for any RSS feeds and lets you select them via other means. RSS is just a different protocol than http and different browers handle it different ways (or not at all).

  • Images not loading across all browsers on certain websites, help!

    == Issue
    ==
    Firefox is having problems with certain web sites
    == Description
    ==
    When browsing college humor and Gawker network sites, and also occasionally google and forbidden planet, images don't load correctly. This happens across all browsers but I feel firefox may be the root of the problem. This happens on both computers which share my firefox profile, and doesn't affect others in my house such as my iPod Touch.
    Any ideas? I really want to sort this out.

    Cambrey,
    that HTML content shows that there’s no content at that Web site — it will only show the heading “301 Moved Permanently” and the single line “nginx/1.2.6”. I suspect that they might have wanted to include a redirection directive in that document, but for some reason, they didn’t. Your browsers are behaving as they ought to do with this Web site.
    Have you considered trying www.sundancechannel.fr in your browsers instead of sundancechannel.fr?

  • Movie not showing on all browsers

    I have a mp4 movie in this page:
    http://amedeldesign.com/interiores/proyecto.htm
    But it doesn't seem to show up in all browsers, I have IE and
    explorer and it shows here, but a friend says it isn't showing in
    his IE.
    Is there a way to make this more universal? Either by using
    another movie format, or another code?

    Is this QuickTime. If so, which it looks like to me, you
    friend will need QuickTime to play it and see the video.
    If you have Flash 8 or CS3 you can use the stand alone video
    encoder to create an FLV and then insert into Dreamweaver. This
    means the user will only need to have a Flash player instead of
    QuickTime. Either that or you;ll have to tell visitors to download
    QuickTime

  • "movie not loaded" problem Flash 11.1.102.55 (IE9 32&64 & Chrome) on all websites

    I have not been able to get the Flash Player 11.1.102.55 working under Windows7/64 on my desktop on any website including Adobe's.  I get a blank window, and when I R-click get the greyed msg "movie not loaded" and the ver number of Flash.   I have uninstalled it using 'uninstall_flash_player_64bit.exe' and cleaned the registry and installed it, over and over, cleared all browser history, cookies and cache.  Reinstalled browsers.  The only way I can sometimes get it to work is to change the URL to httpS instead of http.  This works on youtube and on adobe site, but not very many other sites as they wont reply to https.  Tried a older ver 10 of Flash, no difference.  I do not have this problem on my Windows7/64 laptop running through same network connection here at home.  Any ideas would be much appreciated!  I have been fighting this problem for many weeks....

    My Problem is the following:
    A flash animation with Firefox browser (16.0.1 currently latest version-1) , Flash version 11.4.402.287 (currently latest version) shows a flash animation using XML data to display points on a map as a black (my colleague gets a white) rectangle and a "movie not loaded" message with RMB.
    Other Collegues with Firefox 11.0 and Flash 11.2.202.235 have no problem, the site is working as it should (and has been working for now several years).
    Further testing with Safari, Chrome and ie did work as expected. What is more notable is that Safari is also using Flash version 11.4.402.287.
    OS: Windows 7 64 bit.
    The site (for those who want look at the Flash application): http://www.paulwurth.com/en/The-Group/International-Presence
    At the home page of the site (www.paulwurth.com) we display a simple straight forward flash animation without whistles and bells and that one is working.

    Suggestions are welcome!

  • Working with firefox 28 on WinXP. https sites load well, but http sites do NOT load at all. Same happens on other browsers

    I've tried uninstalling, downgrading, upgrading Firefox (from version 17 to Aurora)
    and still the problem persists! I've shut down firewall, performed malware checks,
    cleared cache, history and cookies, started in safemode, and still nothing!!
    'https' sites (such as Facebook) load perfectly well, as opposed to 'http' sites that do
    NOT load at all, getting the following error:
    «Firefox could not establish connection to server in www.example.com.
    - The website may be temporarily unavailable or busy. Try again in a few moments.
    - If you can't load any page please check your computer Internet connection.
    - If your computer or Internet connection is protected by firewall or proxy,
    verify if «browser» has permission to connect to the Web.»
    I have the same version of firefox running on win7 on other computer and it works
    normally!
    Some 'http' sites will load if I insert an 's' after 'http' making them apparently
    'https'.
    Help please!! Thank you!!

    well here it is, but are you able to...., but how big can you see this image, or are it just to load it down to paint, well here it is, and as i said, you must translate it, or you must tell me if it are possible and how i change the language, because this was downloaded on norwegian.well, as i said here is it!

  • Movie not loaded on Win 7 - 64bit

    Hi all,
    this question is in a similar thread as this:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4184624
    However i have been unable to resolve this issue as the previous poster was.
    i have completed 3 separate OS installs of windows 7 (2-64bit installs and 1-32bit install).  However i have been unable to resolve my flash problems.  Here is the details:
    System:
    -AMD x2 athlon
    -Asus m2-a vm motherboard
    -6gb ddr2 ram
    -realtek 1gb nic
    -xfx nvidia 9600gt
    - windows 7
    -IE 8/9 attempted
    -Chrome attempted
    I have so far been unable to get the flash player to load at all.  I have tried to load the offline installer as admin user context, and no luck [when i say load i mean the flash player itself, installation of flash has succeeded everytime without issues as have uninstallations.] .  I have tried older installers with no luck.  i have also tried different browsers.  not one combination has worked.  I've tried clearing settings on the local 32-bit control panel.  However I can't disable the hardware rendering because of the fact it never loads the applet on any of the status pages for me to access.
    At current, i have reloaded windows 7 64-bit and am looking for a more in depth answer to see if any ini files or reg settings exist for setting these to software only rendering.  However I am not entirely convinced that this is the problem.  I think the problem maybe more related to the player specifically not loading the movies or not even properly running the appropriate installed dll`s.
    Before you ask, latest nvidia drivers loaded and flash is enabled in add-ons as many of the others have suggested.  Please help, this has eaten up a week of my mind now.
    Also should note all MS important patches are installed as of 4/8/2012 - and Service Pack 1 is installed on Windows.  I've also just completed installing IE 9 on this fresh build of windows 7 64-bit.  I've also installed Chrome, this morning and it also received the error "movie not loaded".  I'm also using the latest version of 64-bit FLASH (11.x.x.x.x) version that was downloaded this morning.
    So I'm now at a stopping point.  I cannot use Amazon at all, or Youtube.  It appears to load the plugin on some level as I can see the youtube videobox in black and then when I try to right click, it shows "About Adobe Flash 11.xx.x.x.x" or "Movie not loaded"... Thanks again for any assistance you can provide on this.
    Update:
    After much looking on the forums, I'm now attempting to verify with another functional PC that the actual files are present.  I've found that the following files are present on the working system:
    The system having the problems appears to be missing alot of these files.  The OCX is the only file present.  I'm going to see if I can verify what happened here.  So hopefully this won't recur.  However it looks like there maybe an issue with the installer at this time.  I can't imagine how thougth when I've tried downloading the full offline installation version.

    This computer has two different versions of Flash Player for Internet Explorer and two different versions of Flash Player for other browsers.
    A clean install is recommended:
    Windows
    Download the current 32 bit uninstaller    Uninstaller for 32 bit Operating Systems
    Close all browser windows and run the uninstaller
    Restart Windows
    Delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories. (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in an Explorer window)
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flas
    %appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
    %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
    Verify that the file “FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl” in C:\Window\system32\ for 32 bit systems has been deleted.
    Download the following installer files:
    32 bit Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
    32 bit Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    Physically disconnect from the Internet and run the installers.

    Flash Player 11.0.1.152 is loaded on my machine. Firefox 7.0.1 is my browser. Running Windows 7 Home Premium. Flash content which worked before now does not. When I visit Flash enabled sites, the display area for the Flash content remains blank. When I right click in the display are, I get the "Movie not loaded" message. I have seen suggestions that the current Flash version does not work in 64 bit browsers. Is a 32 bit version of Firefox 7 available or is there a way to run it in 32 bit mode? Does it sound likely that this would resolve the issue?

  • Movie Not Loaded

    Good Afternoon!
    I have this issue on one Terminal Server that will not show
    any flash content for any user except me, even admins. All other
    TS's and workstations see the site perfectly. If you right mouse
    click you get a small menu that says "Movie Not Loaded...". I have
    run Adobe uninstall utility and also Microsoft's Subinacl utility.
    Sysinternals tools were also run, but i didnt see anything out of
    the ordinary.
    Has anyone seen this issue? Or better yet, know a resolution.

    Yeah
    i'm getting this problem too, but its got something to do
    with the way dreamweaver has inserted code to play the flash item
    onto the page, If i acces the file staright up its there and works
    online but as part of a template it just seems to come up with this
    error,
    As far as i know it could also be server realted ...
    let us know if there's a solution i'll do the same...

    For some reason on this website (MLG.tv) the video player just doesn't load and there is a black area where the player would be. I right click and it say movie not loaded. This website works on every other browser for me except Chrome. I have tried multiple ways like incognito, removing all extensions, clearing flash player cache and many more ways. So does anyone know a fix for this?!?

  • Servlet streaming video to client, problem with Movie not loaded.

    Ok, I am sorry if this question is beyond the scope of Servlets/Java or J2EE but I figured it was worth a shot:
    I have two servlets, one is a very simple class consisting of a doGet which just calls doPost and the doPost which just plucks out a single parameter from the request and prints out some HTML. Here is the code:
         public void doPost(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
                   throws ServletException, IOException {
              String videoDir = request.getParameter("directoryofvideo");
              response.setContentType("text/html");
              PrintWriter out = response.getWriter();
              if (videoDir==null||videoDir.equals("")||!new File(videoDir).exists()) {
                   out.println("<script type=\"text/javascript\">alert(\"There was an error locating the selected videos\");</script>");
                   //return;
              out.println("<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN\">");
              out.println("<HTML>");
              out.println("  <HEAD><TITLE>A Servlet</TITLE></HEAD>");
              out.println("  <BODY>");*/
              out.println("   <object id=\"player1\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" data=\"/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/player_flv_maxi.swf\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\">");
              out.println("    <param value=\"/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/player_flv_maxi.swf\" name=\"movie\"/>");
              out.println("    <param value=\"true\" name=\"allowFullScreen\"/>");
              out.println("    <param value=\"configxml=/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/1.xml\" name=\"FlashVars\"/>");
              out.println("   </object>");
              out.println("  </BODY>");
              out.println("</HTML>");
              out.flush();
              out.close();
         }In case that is hard to read, the HTML printed is this:
       <object id="player1" width="480" height="360" data="/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/player_flv_maxi.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
        <param value="/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/player_flv_maxi.swf" name="movie"/>
        <param value="true" name="allowFullScreen"/>
        <param value="configxml=/MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/1.xml" name="FlashVars"/>
       </object>The second servlet, appropriately named: serveUploadedFile, reads in from the file off the file system and streams the data back to the client and I know it works because I can hit /MyApp/serveUploadedFile?url=//ns20/data3/Video/player_flv_maxi.swf and get the swf player but if you'd like to see the code I can copy and paste that in here as well.
    The problem is by page loads blank, all the html is written but in firebug the only thing actually downloaded to the client is the first swf player, and if I right click in the window it says "Movie Not Loaded" on Firefox, IE and Safari. I have a working example of a video that is hosted on our NAS with the exact same HTML (which is where I got that from) except the swf and xml files appear as just their names because they are in the same directory as the index.html.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you so much in advance.

    Also, I realize the parameter is not being used here that is because in order to eliminate possibilities of the problem I hard coded the path into the println statements and I am sure the path and all the files exist as well ;)

  • Movie not loaded... Youtube!

    Hello guys!
    Since yesterday I can't watch youtube videos using Adobe Flash Player (13.0.0.214). Always when I select a video any the page is opened and in place of the video just gets a black box. When using the right mouse button on this black box pops up "Movie not loaded...". I can only watch the videos by logging in to my account, adding "https://" at the beginning of the link or watching using HTML5.
    * This happens in all browsers using the flash player.
    * Already installed an older version and nothing helped.
    * Already performed a cleanup in cache, cookies, history of all browsers.
    * Reinstalled all browsers.
    * My browsers are updated.
    * Java is up to date.
    * I did a test. Installed Windows 8.1 in a virtual machine using VirtualBox and is presented the same problem when using the Flash Player in browsers.
    * I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32 bits
    Thank you!

    Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
    Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
    or
    Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
    Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie and refresh page if above does not do it.
