Movie not working once uploaded

Hello
I've created a couple of little flash movies (for the first time) showing figures merging into one another. I imported the movies into Dreamweaver and when I tested them in my browser, they worked fine.
However, now that I've uploaded all the pages/files for my client to look at, the movies don't work. Infact in one case it doesn't even appear.
Can anyone help?

no swf embedding code is in your 2nd link so you wouldn't expect a swf to be present.
i don't see a problem with the 1st link.

Hyperlinks not working once uploaded when they are set up in iweb

Hi there
I have spent hours trying to crack this. I have designed my new website in iweb09 and triple checked all my hyperlinks are set up which they are. However, when I upload the site to my FTP via Cyberduck only a few of them work. I have also tried to preview it on a PC where more seem to work.
How can I resolve this problem its driving me crazy. I'd appreciate any advice you lot have on this.
My site address is www.sevendaysdesign.co.uk you will see its currently sitting like one flat image but some of these links on the home page have worked on previous uploads but I have never got them all working.

An iWeb page has 4 layers :
1. A Navigation layer
2. A Header layer
3. A Body layer
4. A Footer layer.
The names tell you what their purpose is.
The layers have z-index numbers.
I don't know how you managed it, but it appears that all your content is in the nav-layer.
And the Body layer is blocking the top part.
The Footer layer, which is below the Body-layer, covers the bottom part of the nav-layer.
Do Command-Shift-L to see it.
Put content where it belongs. And make sure nothing covers other content.

Hyperlinks in presentation not working once published - Presenter 7.0.7

I have a link to an intranet address that will not work once the PowerPoint presentation has been published via Presenter 7.0.7. The cursor does not change to a pointer and nothing launches when the link is clicked. I have verified the Flash Player security settings as well as ensured no formatting of the text link except for the color change that happens when the link is inserted.

Thanks for sharing the presentation.
Textbox in which your hyperlink is placed have text containing Text effects. When you publish the presentation then any text with text effect is published as an image.
So, place text with a hyperlink in a separate textbox which don't have any text effects. Segregate the content having text effect and hyperlink in 2 separate textbox.

In Safari I get this error message: Safari can't open "aam://SAP...[link of the download]" because OS X doesn't recognize internet address starting with "aam:". I thought it was a browser issue (I can't click the download button in Chrome) so downloaded FireFox but it also gives me an error message saying: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because one of the following protocols (aam) isn't connected to any program or allowed in this context.
I don't have Creative Cloud Membership, I received a CD with Photoshop Lightroom 5 with my new camera from Samsung. Because my MacBook Air doesn't have a DVD drive I figured I should download it. Couldn't find Lightroom 5 in the Appstore so I figured I should download a trial version and simply add the key from the DVD. Unfortunately I can't even download the trial version due to these error messages.

AS3 not working when uploaded to linux server

Works like a charm when I preview it but when I upload to the
server (tried 3 different ones) it just ignore the actionscripts
all together no matter what I use.
What I have is a rotating banner system. I set it up to
randomly start at a specific one. If I preview it locally or run in
in my .html file locally (just using preview in dreamweaver) it
works like a charm and starts at a random one. When I upload it it
just starts at the first one like the actionscripts do not exist.

Pretty sure it is not a problem with the upload as I have
been doing this for years the same way with Dreamweaver. In
diagnosing the issue I rebuilt it and in place of the movie clips I
just put text and uploaded it. Worked like a charm. Added the movie
clips and again does not work when I upload it. Ignores the
actionscript and just plays them in order. Did a build from top to
bottom and from bottom to top also. Something in the movie clips is
causing it but darned if I can find the answer. I have done this
same thing before and it worked just fine. Just at a loss. I am
attaching the code inside the movie scripts which work just fine.
It is just ignoring scripts on the Scene 1 level.

Chapters not working once dvd is burned?

I created a dvd in idvd, main menu and used the create chapter markers command, so there are also scene selection menus, all menus work once burned, but there are no chapters to speak of, hitting forward or next on my dvd player's remote does nothing, and the dvd player's in movie menu shows only 1 huge chapter. how do I make it so that I can have chapters? my video has no chapters in quicktime because I do not know how to create them, I do have quicktime pro.

Same thing happened to me when tried to put in regular chapter marks in iDVD '08.

Hi Dhiraj,
When you click on the Log off button, do you see any yellow triangle icon (Something like warning) coming at the bottom left of the browser?
If so then you are experiencing a Javascript error with your browser. If you click on that icon a pop up should come up with the exact error.
If you get the error I mentioned I would recommend you to change the security settings of the browser to meduim or low.
Also if you go to internet properties->Security->Trusted Sites->Sites button,
You can try adding the URL of the Portal that you are using like :http://mysapportal

Iphoto will not work after uploading yosemite

After uploading the Yosemite upgrade. The iPhoto will not work. I have done what the software recommends. I have deleted the app and reloaded it. I get the same message. The message that i get is:
your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable.
shut down and restart your computer and then open iPhoto again. if the problem persists. try rebuilding your photo library. to do this quit iPhoto, and then reopen it while keeping the option and command keys pressed. you can also try restoring your photo library from a backup.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

It works great in Dreamweaver and it even works great when I upload it to my student server. But when I went to upload it to the domain (on Godaddy's server), it's not working.
I do have alot of issues when I try to upload a file using Dreamweaver....it get's so frustrating. I'm also using Cyberduck to upload files as I seem to be more successful than using Dreamweaver but for whatever reason I wasn't able to connect to godaddy using Cyberduck so I had to upload using Dreamweaver (this could be related to my problem).
Does anyone suggest a better way to upload using FTP?

Itunes movie not working

i purchased the "hancock" movie recently, it does not work in my iphone and so with my pc laptop, it stops all the time. also, do we have a video to use at the old iphone? i feel like i need to know more about this. manual doesn't explain that much information.

I have solved the issue!
There are a bunch of problems with the home.js. I will let whoever is responsible for this to fix the rest. It is pretty sad that this was released like this. It looks to be a copy and past from other extras, and then they tried to add a pretty background video, and failed horribly.
Look for the following in the home.js file
homeController.viewWillAppear = function() {
          if (!IS_APPLE_TV && videoLoaded == false) {
                    var new_elem = document.createElement("video");
Change it to:
homeController.viewWillAppear = function() {
          if (!IS_APPLE_TV && videoLoaded == false) {
                    document.getElementById("mm_div").style.top = "0px";
                    var new_elem = document.createElement("video");
Essentially the problem is iTunes does not support, or can't handle the following:
document.getElementById("loopVideo").play();
Which would never allow the conditional to work for bringing up the menu. If I had more time to fix the nice display issue I would, but there are people who get paid to do this, and I paid for this movie.

Movies has been an unreliable, inconsistent and disappointing channel of Sherlock. I find the AppleCare channel useful.
Elvis has left the building...use moviefone instead.
After reading your comments, I just noticed Pictures was grayed out and deleted it from the toolbar.

Old movies not working

When I go back to watch movies that I have made in the past, many of the clips don't show on the video. I have watched these movies over and over again and now all of a sudden certain clips are not working. Also, in the "events" area many of my clips are just showing up grey. Why is this??
