Movie ontop of another movie help

in a lot of music video's ive been seeing this effect

i thought i could do it with picture in picture but it does not stretch all the way to the sides if you center the video it expands the whole video when you try to adjust it
any tips or is this something that imovie just cant do ?

It sounds like we are running into issues with the iTunes software connecting to your device. If possible, lets try plugging your iPhone 5 in with a different cable. Also, try plugging it in to a different USB port on your computer:

HT5096 cannot move time machine backup from one ext drive to another. pls help!thanks!

my time machine file is about 390GB and it is on a 1TB external harddrive. I have been trying to move the backup to a new 2TB external harddrive. it stopped copying any more files after transferring 466MB. I repeated the same procedure several times,but with same result. any advice? thanks!

Is there an easy way to move my playlist from one computer to another?HELP

I recently got my own private computer and wanted to move my itunes playlist from my old computer to the new one. I downloaded Itunes 8 to my desktop but couldn't seem to get my playlist. i ended up trying to burn all my songs onto discs but i ran out of cds!! there has to be an easier way! can some one PLEASE help me!?

Hi. We just got a new laptop and did this (thanks to Chris CA!): Note this was from a Windows/XP to a Windows/Vista.
"On your original computer (XP), go to /My Documents/My Music.
Select the iTunes folder and drag it to your external drive. * buy a flash drive instead of using cds *
Install iTunes on the new computer (Vista).
Launch iTunes and let it do it's stuff.
Quit iTunes.
Connect the external drive.
Select the folder on the external and drag it to /Music on the C: drive.
It should ask if you want to replace the items on the C: drive.
Select Yes.
When it's finished, launch iTunes and everything should be there."

For Tunning reasons : perform The I/O from the Instance to datafiles (database). I decide to move some Index datafiles from One DISK RAID to another.
I'm on Linux Redhat Server and Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
My database 's On PRODUCTION and there 're many web applications updating some databases tables and for sure using Index tablespace. I preapared yet my procedure to move datafiles but I'm posting this to be sure that I will not have BAD EFFECTS on my Oracle database.
So I plan without SHUTDOWN MY DATABASE to these steps :

If this is an active databases (indexes are used),
you cannot set offline the index tablespace.you can offline it.

Trying to move songs from 1comp to another- NEED HELP

I was orginally trying to move my itunes folder from my old comp to my new one. Easy enough right? Wrong. I copied the folder and put it on my 40gb ipod then went to put it on my comp. Well it only put bout 1/3 of my music like the first 15 folders. It started saying files were corrupt. Then I started getting the ! with the folder on my ipod. I tried reseting it but that doesn't work and it is fully charged. I'm using Windows XP. Plz help. I just sold my other laptop so I need to get these songs off the other computer.

I have a similar problem, my hard disk has been reformatted and my library of songs is now only on the iPod, can i transfer them back from the iPod to the computer or is my library now only accessible on my iPod.

Quicktime Movie HELP!!

I am running Final Pro 6 and have a DVCPRO HD 1080/60 timeline. When I export to quicktime movie, it plays fine in the quicktime player on the Mac. However, when I transfer the file over to my PC, where I am running After Effects, it does not play in quicktime, nor does it display anything when I import the file into After Effects. I have all the latest updates for the player and the software. Do I need to export in another format out of FCP6 to import it into After Effects running on a PC? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two ways to do this:
Trash your render files for the sequence in question - I'd suggest selecting all clips, Command-A then pressing Control-B twice to disable, then renable your clips.
Then File > Export > QT Conversion.
The QT dialog, once you've selecting the File to QuickTime Movie setting, hit the Options button.
In the Movie Settings dialog, hit the Settings button, then select Animation as your Compression Type. In case it doesn't do this automatically, set Depth to Millions of Colors+ and exit the Compression Settings dialog
Now, back in the Movie Settings dialog, hit the Size button and select the HD 1920x1080 setting. No other options in the Size dialog should be active.
Get back to the Save dialog in QT Conversion and save your movie. Since it has to render out your timeline in Animation while it saves, this might take a while.
Or, alter your Sequence Settings so that your Compressor is set to Animation (be sure to click on the Advanced Options and set Color Depth to Millions of Colors+) and then render.
You can then do a File > Export > QuickTime Movie at Current Settings.
Once your movie is rendered and exported, since you're working with DVCProHD, you'll need to open your movie in QT Pro, press Command-J, then alter Visual Settings to 1920x1080 to correct the frame size.
One thing to be aware of: depending on the file system your PC is using, you might be limited to a file size of 2GB (if it's NTFS, I believe) or 4GB (if it's FAT32) and that's real issue because Animation codec files are not lean.

Droid X Tv shows/Movies help...

I've bought a lot of tv shows and movies on itunes and I now want to put some of them on my new droid x. I know you can,and already have,put music that I bought on itunes onto my droid,but I cant get any of the shows to play on my phone. Does anyone know if you can do this?

Why do you convert the files because the files should already be MP4? I have placed my Mp4 on ipod and also copied movies straight from library to other devices, I never refiltered. DVDFab is a rather expensive solution, there is a number of apps that can do it as well, when I do need to filter images I use FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter from http://www.aone-soft.com/flv_to_avi_mpeg_wmv_3gp_mp4_ipod_converter.htm. this can convert all formats listed to another format without issues.

Itunes wont download my movie HELP!!!!!!! err - 3150

I am trying to download a movie adn ieverytime i try to download it it comes up with a message that says that itunes could not connnect threw network, and yes my computer is on a network andyes it is connected to the internet, becuase if it wasn't i wouldn't be sending this to you know. HELP I need this and i wont let me download it. the error code i keep getting is "err - 3150". HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QT Movie help to post to .mac account or own web site

Hello. I used iPhoto 6.0.6 to make a slideshow. Then I exported it into a large quality QT movie and it's 460MB.
I want to post it to my .mac account and my own web site (I use Fetch to upload folders--that's the extent of my posting knowledge) and found a help topic mentioning using the "share" button on QuickTime Pro 7.2.0. My share button is grayed out and I've registered my version.
I also tried dragging the movie to my Public Folder on my iDisk, but it stalls out on the "closing" step and requires the computer to be restarted.
Help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Compressing QuickTime files is nearly an art form and every file may need different settings based on the content in them. Lots of action requires a faster frame rate. Image only files can reduce that to microscopic frame rates and save both bandwidth and load times.
I've been making QuickTime files since version 3 and there are many ways to get both small file sizes and a sense of "drama" when using just still image files. Some of mine to give you some ideas can be found at this link:

Movie Help!

Well, So I just downloaded a movie from my computer. I decided to put into my iPad when so I can watch it anywhere I go. So this is the problem, whenever I watch it, it all goes fine until a certain time the screen would turn black and I would only hear the audio. I have done as many things as I can, re downloading, restarting my iPad etc, etc. I seriously need help with this. Please do help me if you know any solution. :S

yeah, it has the video option when I turn it on, on the main menu that is. It has everything under it as well. My dad sells the things and cant even figure out how to make it work.....

DVD movie help please

I hope someone can spare some time to help me resolve a problem I have.
My wife has made a file in imove consisting of pictures, video and music. We then burned a DVD in toast 7 ( DVD video setting). It plays fine on PC but wont in front row ( the first page is there but it wont play any further). Has anyone any idea what we have done wrong.

Why don't try burning the movie using iDVD. Just go to iMovie menu and choose share -> iDVD. Burn it right from iDVD and try. I am not sure about Toast.

Trouble Downloading Movies Help?!?!?

I got a macbook in June for a Grad gift and whenever i try to download any movies is opens up just as like a rich text format or something. How do i solve this problem?

Oops, I think I misunderstood the question... You are having a problem downloading the file (as opposed to playing it)? If so, please disregard the answer below the line:
In general, to make sure things actually download to the computer (and don't just open up in another browser window), I simply right click and save as...
I'm not sure this addresses the heart of the problem, but I use VLC player (can be downloaded for free online) to play just about anything that anything else can't play.

I just drag the file into the player and let it play. I've found that .wmv (as well as .avi sometimes) files can act weird sometimes if the correct media player is not used.

iOS Reset -
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.

Burning a movie help please

Hi everyone I have an Imac and am trying to burn a dvd that is an .avi file. so when I go into IDVD I drag the file to the drop zone that it shows me and then when I hit burn dvd it tells me that my project is too large to fit on the DVD. These are movies that my friend had and they are only 700mb and about 1hr and 40min which is well under the 2hr limit that the DVD's have. Am I doing something wrong or is that a more simple way of doing this? Thanks I appreciate your help.

So I downloaded that program from sourceforge however it tells me that it must reencode the avi files to put them on a dvd and then I have to do it two different times to get the correct version. After all that it starts to burn the DVD and then part way through it tells me that it can not burn it because all of a sudden the file is not the correct one for a DVD. Please help me
