Movie purchased over a year ago wont play now
I purchased a snowboarding movie a little over a year ago through the iTunes store and for some reason, when I go to watch it, the screen will go black, but the movie will not load or play. Is there a way to remove and re-download it? Not really sure what to do...
It is a recent quirk, signing out of the store and back in again should also have resolved it, however disabling the feature may let iTunes start up more quickly since it doesn't have to compare your library with your purchase history. Most of your past purchases are now available for you to redownload on demand from "iTunes in the cloud". Whether you want to make use of the facility or not is entirely up to you.

I started using icloud a few months ago- I now find I have music on my iphone that my daughter purchased last year- I can't get it off as it does not appear on my Library on my pc. Any ideas- other than banning daughter from my account!
Add all the songs you want to burn the playlist onto the disk.

Im wondering how I can get the music that I had on my iphone 4. I lost the phone over a year ago, but I spent hundreds of dollars on music albums. since then I have never been able to find out if I can get the albums that I purchased and save them in my computer. I don't have a iphone or other cell phone at the moment. the phone that I lost was not backed up. if anyone know how to do that, I would be thrilled.

Recently upgraded laptop from Windows Vista 2 Windows 7. I had 2 delete itunes,then download again.Music etc purchased over 2 years is in library,soon as I try to play,message saying it can't be located! Any Help?

I have found that at least 3 music videos that I had previously purchased are not available in my I-tunes music video list. I paid for them over a year ago, why are they not accessible, and why did they just disappear from my lists?
Have you deleted anything from your iTunes library ? Have you checked to see if they are still on your computer, but not listed in your iTunes library ?
If not then do they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If they don't show there and others do and they are still in your country's store, then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If they are no longer in your store for redownloading (or you aren't in a country where music videos can be redownloaded) then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your library/downloads. -
since I have iTunes match, why does my iTunes library not appear in iPhoto music options for slideshow?; only songs purchased or placed on iTunes over a year ago appear in the iPhoto library under the iTunes or purchased option.

Yes, I am signed in to iTunes match on the macbook pro, iPhone , & iPad (all updated & correct music libraries) where I bought all the tunes but still no updated tunes on the iPhoto music library after 3 days of being on iTunes match.

over a year ago i had an 8 gig ipod touch that broke, so i sold it. and recently got a 160 g ipod classic. when i had my ipod touch i had purchased the entire first season of a t.v. show for 20 dollars, and had also purchased several other t.v. show episodes. and when i sold my ipod i was under the impression that as long as i had my itunes account id be able to redownload my purchases for free, but it seems that itunes store wants to recharge me. what do i do? is there anyway to get what i paid for?

I had previously purchased 56 songs, over a year ago. Tonight I purchased 22 more. It seems that I am being charged for all 78 that are currently in the library. How can this be stopped?

You only buy one download, so if you downloaded them again you would have to pay again. -
My very expensive 2010 MacBook Pro hard drive died over a year ago. I finally synced my iPhone to the replacement laptop pc and it wiped out all the music on the phone including most of the purchases. Can I get the music back (restore didn't help)?
Okay, I finally got the couple of songs left on the phone to play by uninstalling and reinstalling itunes on the pc and re syncing. The last version I installed (just prior to my original post) failed to start due to some unspecified error?!?. Great!. But I still couldn't sync the itunes purchases from the PC to the iPhone. Then, after about an hour of googling and reading assorted posts mostly about using google to resolve the issue, I finally figured out that I have to actually download ALL the purchased albums from iCloud back onto the iPhone! There are hundreds of them, and some are not even available anymore.
Why do I have to do that when I originally purchased and downloaded all the music to the phone? Why are they all on the PC to begin with and why won't they go to the phone via the USB cable? Why didn't all the music get wiped out on the phone when I synced with the dodgy itunes I had to uninstall. never mind.
I accept that all my original music from cds and shared collections is gone on the failed mbp hard drive, but how come this once okay experience has become a trauma? Hundreds of songs to download all over again, sheesh, this has not exactlybeen a "That Was Easy" experience guys. -
I recentl bought a new laptop and setup my itunes and couldnt remember my account informaion. I got logged in but only 60 of my 750 songs were on there and they were downloaded over 2 years ago on my aunts laptop and that is the only place i have ever downloaded from my itunes. I would like to get new songs but im worried to sync it because it ssays all my music will be removed. Is it possible i have my ipod connected to two accounts? If not can anyone explain what has happend or help me out of this pickle?
I have tried many things and none of them work i have purchased over 340 songs itunes and id really noy like to lose them all.

Wow that is so unlucky. If I was you I would try talking to someone at the Apple Store, explain your situation and don't be shy to shed a tear or too. Its just a shame 3 weeks after your phone getting hardware problems. I know people will say, oh buy Apple Care but I feel ya and I know adding that extra money in the beginning feels pointless and expensive.
Worst case scenarion like I said you will have to pay Apple 269 for them to swap phones. Or if you have any nerd friends have them fix it for you. Its a tedious repair the way the power button has some weird hinge that needs to snap on and ribbons are so thin. I do not advise for you to attempt to fix your self unless you don't care if you break it completely.
Alternatively you could just turn on Assisitive touch on accessibility and use that. That way you wont need to pay anything to fix your phone and wont need to take it apart either. -
ITunes and Genius, purchased music wont play now
after installing iTunes Genius, my purchased music wont play now. it gets skipped over in normal play mode. the box next to selection has the "check". album artwork still shows up when song is highlighted.

I have purchased an album in the itunes store over 3 years ago.
"Most" of the album went to the cloud when I went to iTunes Match.
One song did not, rather, it stays in a category, "waiting".
How do I get the ability to re-download this song, since it is NOT in the cloud, not on iTunes Match, and the file is degraded on my system? ThanksHi,
Is the album still available in Itunes store? Can you redownload it fro previous purchases?
