Movie (rental) download stopped in error. Cannot download movie.
I pressed pause on Apple TV (2) remote by mistake twice, thus stopping movie (rental) download. Now unable to find. When trying to download again, message reads "You have already rented this movie, go to Settings and check in Download". There is no "Download" option in settings. Cannot purchase the movie either, same message. No trace of the movie but it has disappeared from my Wish list so system def thinks I have it. Have tried "check rentals' in Settings but the little circle just keeps going round and round and round. Any ideas of how to rent this movie??? Ihave not been charged for the movie so am confused, cannot download it but not charged for it. Any ideas? Thank you!!
Try logging out and back into your iTunes account, this worked for me as the rental tab (which had been invisible until then) appeared and my movie was there. Check rentals is a dead end.

Yeah this "fix" is bunk. The movie is downloading just fine, but the extra features is the one giving me this error code. It is NOT my firewall. If it was, then both files wouldn't download. Plus, I already have the firewall "issue" tacked down and fixed. Have had it fixed for months now. No, this is due to the "new" itunes version 11 software. The only conclusion to fix this issue is UPgrading from 11 back to 10.7 which is what I am going to do. This is completely ridiculous! Come on, Apple, get itunes working once and for all, and fire the people responsible for itunes 11, just like you did to the guy who was responsible for apple maps. Thankfully Google came back to the rescue with google maps app.

HT1657 Tried to rent movie but saying error cannot download movie at this time?
Tried to download a rental the other day when trying to download it said I did not have enough space when I did this is due to my iPad having an expired previously rented movie.
Still after this had gone it was saying I did not have enough space. I reset my iPad to then hopefully start downloading my rental and it is now saying error cannot download movie at this time?

I actually figured it out after all! All I had to do was go back to the movie, select the rental button, iTunes recognized that I had already rented this movie but that it wasn't downloaded completely. It then made the download button visible and "voila" it restarted the download!

ITunes has stopped working error message while downloading iOS 5
I am having issues with iTunes stopping while im in the middle of the new iOS 5 download. It never fails while im just using itunes for anything except downloading the new software. Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<
So, could you, apple developers, please, explain WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT?!!!!!! FIX IT! I am getting ****** of to spend hours at the computer and reading those lame advises which do not help at all! I have my own things to do except reading your support websites.
