Movieclips loader loads png but does not display image in ie

hello, i have created a static class to deal with the loading
of images, it works great. yesterday, i found an issue: i try to
load png files (those pngs are generated with quasimondo's bitmap
exporter), they do load, but they are not displayed in ie.
it worked until recently. is there some specification about
the png that i have to make sure that the png has? or is there an
issue using the movieclip loader with ie?
i included the actionscript class (save the code in an .as
file), so if you want to test, write only this in the first frame
of your code:

that image will load, but in the context of my flash file
where many many files are loaded at the same time, only the block
generated by the bitmap exporter will not show.

cancel that question. i ftp'd the file to the server again, this time setting the transfer type to binary and the png image comes up
just like it should.

Since the upgrade to FF3.6, I've had several annoying glitches.
1 Dclick desktop icon, FF loads into memory, but does not display. End task. Then Dclick the icon again. This time FF loads and displays normally.
2. After closing FF with Save & Quit, next time I open FF, error message : "Well this is embarrassing, can't recover tabs". Start new session. FF opens with last tab instead of default site.
3. On some sites I click icons and nothing happens. Sometimes other icons on same page will open, but most won't. Internet Explorer will open the same icons, so the Problem seems to be in FF.
Am I the only one with these nuisances? Any help will be appreciated.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page when the Safari icon or other icons are tapped.

A problem has just started with my IPAD Air after 3 months of use.
If I try to open Safari by tapping on the icon the screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page.
Similarly if I try to open Settings page, Mail page, Calendar or Clock the screen just briefly flashes but the Apps do not run.
Some of the Apps do work on tapping the icon e.g. Maps, iBooks, Appstore, iTunes, Newstand etc.
I do have some website links which display when the icon is tapped e.g. John Lewis but some links do not work.
I have ensured that the ipad is fully charged, powered it off an on again, and cleaned the screen with a lint free cloth but the
same problem keeps occurring.

I saume you used a second display at one time, otherwise the Display settings wouldn't be treating your primary display as a secondary.
IF you open your System Preferences>Displays (-System Preferences) and click "Gather Windows" it should pull everything to the display on which you clicked it.

Thanks for your lengthy reminder dude, I have a similar Mac with yours. I suspect its a software fault because it happens after I upgraded to Lion, 10.7.2.

However, I suspect you zapped the Mini, maybe the lower voltage part since you siad the fan works.
The power surge could have went into HDMI and damaged the TV.

PS CC does not display images

I use (hope to) PS CC in combo with LR and Windows 8. When I select right click in LR and edit in PS CC, PS loads but does not display the image. If I look in PS under recently opened files, the file imported from LR shows. If I initiate the opening of the file from PS, it does not display. If I initiate the opening of any image file from CC, it does not display. What is the problem and how do I work around it??? Thank you.

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website. If you can't update the driver for some reason, then turn off the GPU features in Photoshop's preferences until you can get a working version of your video card driver.

Safari on my account does not display images when you open a picture.

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed. Safari on my account does not display images most of the time when you open a picture like (www.example.com/example/example.jpg or any other format). If the image does not display, I can drag from the corner, it displays the image. However, pdf does not work at all. I have to choose open in Preview to view the pdf file. I can even show the example:

Hi all the real problem was this...
The issue was that the wee rubber eye piece around the viewfinder had slipped out of its seat slightly and was covering the sensor for the LCD. I Just checked the rubber eye piece bit pushed right down till it clipped into place and now not obstructing the LCD sensor as the picture displays both with the LCD auto off enabled or disabled !! simple thing but a massive trap !

Firefox loads but does not display

1. When I double click the Firefox icon on my desktop the firefox.exe application loads (per the Task Manager) but it does not display. I have to use Task Manager to end the process. FF will usually display on the second try, but I often get a "this is embarrassing" message. This has been going on fore several months.
2. I don't know if this is related to the loading problem, but I frequently have to shut down & restart FF because some Bookmarks don't work when I click on them. Usually my Home Page icon at the top will work, but those in the Bookmark sidebar don't.

I am surprised that 17 other people have this problem and no one has any ideas.
Basically, I have had to abandon the use of Firefox and use IE ... is this a Microsoft conspiracy? I really like Firefox ... I am devastated.

Outlook 2010 loads but does not display on monitor

Very strange problem. When I click on Outlook 2010, the splash screen appears and it seems to load, but does not appear on my monitor. Task Managerr shows the application is running, so I guess it is there somewhere. All the other Office 2010 programs work
fine.
I am running Win 7 Professional 32bit, dual core 2.7 cpu, 4 gb ram. Everything else works fine. I was having a problem with Outlook 2003 crashing and had not tried Outlook 2010.
Have the same problem in Safe mode.
I did run scanpst.exe and it only found (and repaired) a few files that it felt were not important. I transferred my .pst file to my wife's computer and her copy of Outlook 2010 opened it fine. I used her computer to delete all items in the
"deleted" file. My total pst file is about 142mb. I have defragmented this hard disk. I don't have a Win7 installation disk because I downloaded the Office 2010 file and used a legitimate key to activate it
I think there is a simple answer. Appreciate your help in finding it.

I found my problem.
“Add-ons” were the source of the problem.
I believe there was a conflict between two programs:
Norton’s Security Suite and AnVir Security Suite.
Both were trying to scan my incoming e-mail.
I uninstalled AnVir, reset Outlook back to its original configuration (i.e. reversed all the changes I described above), and my problem is gone.
Not sure why this problem took so long to appear as both programs had been install for at least a month without issues.
I used AnVir and ZoneAlarm for over a year together without issues.
However, about one month ago, I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and installed Norton’s Security Suite.
In any event, uninstalling AnVir solved the problem.
Uninstalling Norton’s and keeping AnVir would probably work as well.

This Formula(Function) compiles but does not display any result

Siebel Charts gets generated but does not display in the Web client

Siebel Chart is getting generated in NetChart4.6\Server\root\projects\Siebel.chart folder. However does not display on the Web client
There is either no error displayed on the front end...
Also note that Charts is installed on Windows environment and Siebel Server is installed on Linux Server

Does this happens in dedicated client as well?
We would need to have traffic captured when you are actually executing actions. The tools like fiddler etc will help here to track the traffic.
I would suggest you open SR with MOS since it will need some analysis on network trace like fiddler. You can refer this thread in SR as well, so that once issue gets resolved thread will get updated with solution which will benefit others.

Personal certificate says sucessfully restored after import, but does not display on list of certificates.

Firefox -> Prefrences -> Advanced -> Certificates -> View certificates -> import Select the cert, enter password, then i get this message: <br />
Successfully restored your security certificate(s) and private key(s). However the cert does not show up on my cert list, and i cannot access the site that requires this cert.
I am using Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Firefox 29. I do know that the certificate itself works because i can use it on another machine. I tried deleting both CERT8.db and SECMOD.db with no success.
I hope someone knows how to fix this because i need to file my taxes!!!!

I installed 33.3.0. It runs but does not display my email folders or any mail. It's all still there but I just can't see it in the app. WTF?

I'm running Win 8.1 and this installation was an "upgrade" from the previous version of Thunderbird (I've been upgrading for years with no problems.) As well as not displaying my mail, the new version did not pick up my Lightning add-on, it seems to have lost my tags, and it lost my layout preferences.
I'm still receiving mail (I get alerts as usual) it just doesn't show the messages. I seem to be able to create and send messages, but they don't appear in the window either. All I've got is a whole lot of grey space.
All my data seems to be intact - at least the folders are there where they should be in the file system - but I've got nothing to display them with now, so I can't be sure.
Any ideas about what to do? I've tried reinstalling 33.3.0 several times.

Amazon universal wish list addon is installed but does not display.

My Amazon universal wish list button has disappeared, probably when I last upgraded Firefox. I have just reinstalled it but the button does not appear in Firefox. I installed it twice and it appears in my list of addons and in the list of extensions in the Troubleshooting Information. How can I get the button to appear?

Try to rename the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder to cert8.db.old or delete the cert8.db file to remove intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file.<br />
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previous intermediate certificates.<br />
Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send such a certificate.
If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

My ipod touch shows up in Itunes, but does not display sync screen.

It does not sync or backup. The backup bar gets stuck at about 5%. I have removed and reinstalled iTunes several times and still nothing. I have also restored the ipod and that did nothing as well. Please help

No error messages. I just can't drag anything into my music folder and if I check a playlist, artist, song or anything the "apply" button stays greyed out and I can't sync.
