Movies in spanish

I want to buy movies for kids in spanish

I just noticed that some titles for kids in Spanish have tracks available in Spanish, like a DVD and subtitles in other languages as well. The problem is that titles with audio tracks in Spanish are very limited. Most of them only offer an option in French language, which is great, but why not Spanish as well? With 51 million Spanish speaking people in the US and many more around the world, this does not seem a smart move from Apple.
When you find a title you want to buy or rent, look under Language > Spanish (Dolby, Stereo, etc.). Make sure it is not the captions only.

Find a movie that is in Spanish and buy it.
You can only buy what the itunes store in your country sells.  If they do not sell movies in Spanish, then you cannot buy them.  If they do sell them, then you can buy them.

Algunas películas vienen con opción de pista de audio en español, pero no hay muchas aún. Cuando elijas un título, ve si en Language dice Spanish (Stereo).

In order to purchase apps from the U.S. iTunes Store, you  need to 1) Have a valid billing address in the U.S., 2) Have a credit card billed to that address or have iTunes gift cards purchased in the U.S. and 3) be physically located in the U.S. at the time of purchase.

Is there a spanish language option on the movies I have purchased through itunes? If yes, how do I access it?  If no, how can I buy Spanish language movies?

    Hi..
It's not a matter of language but the fact that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

  • Is it possible to add a new language in a movie?

    Hallo everyone.
I try to find a way to add a new audio line on an itunes movie.
Mostly you get (here in germany) only the german audio line and the original language.
Is it possoble to add a new audio line, to see the movie in spanish or something else?
Thats for helping me and merry christmas!

If you have CS6 you need to update to 13.0.2, a recent update.
Why do my images appear smaller on my Retina enabled Mac after installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update?
Retina displays use a higher pixel density than a normal monitor. The individual display pixels are approximately one half the size of previous devices. While working in Photoshop before installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update, as with any other non-Retina optimized application, the number of pixels used is doubled to give a normal, non-miniaturized appearance. This can cause applications to be slightly blurred or pixilated. Thus, when viewing images in Photoshop, the zoom level is effectively double whatever is displayed. At 100% zoom, the image is displayed so that every one image pixel is shown with four display pixels, the same as viewing the image at 200%. With the 13.1/13.0.2 update, Photoshop now displays natively on Retina screens, meaning that image pixels now appear at the much smaller Retina size, thus reducing the amount of screen space they take up when viewed at 100%

  • Hi. i want to buy a movie in the mexican iTunes. can I do that if I live in Sweden?

Hi. I want to buy a movie in Spanish (not in Spain Spanish...vary sry but it sounds no good, to many zZz...) and I do like to see it in HD).
The problem is that I live in Sweden.
PS: you have brilliant people in design and engineering, but it seems that you put an monkey in the sales department.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. This is a user to user forum, you are not talking to Apple. If you wish to send feedback you can do so through the feedback page.   http://apple.com/feedback
    2. No. due to licensing issues, content can only be purchased from the country store that is defined in your Apple ID.  That is to purchase from a specific store you need to have a valid payment method from the country the store belongs to and a billing address in that same country.
This is not something Apple controls or has very much say in. Its the rights owners and licensing and distribution agreements, and other drm difficulties in different parts of the world that determine this. Media licenses and rights management is very prickly subject. If this were not the case, there would be no need to have country specific stores.
In short to purchase from the Mexican store you would need a Mexican account with a Mexican credit card and a Mexican billing address.

  • How do I see subtitles in English spoken movies?

My wife does not speak english and I would like to rent or purchase movies with spanish (or at least english) subtitles. Is that possible with Apple TV?
    Thanks

only possible if the rental/purchase movie on the itunes store has that particular subtitles available.
it will tell you on the purchase screen if it does.
my thoughts are you will find very little with your requirement.

  • Watching multiple audio track movies on Apple TV. PLEASE HELP...

Hi, I hope somebody can help since I haven't been able to find any answer to this.
When I rip a movie (with Handbrake) from one of my DVDs to place it into my iTunes library, I have the possibility to chose to extract different Audio Language Tracks. In fact, once the rip is done, I have a movie in iTunes that has two tracks (2 languages) in my case English and Spanish.
Now, when I sync it to AppleTV, I always can only watch the movie in english. I don't want to lose the english track, but I do want to watch the movie in Spanish on my ATV.
Is there a way to chose the Audio for multiple track movies on ATV? (ITunes does let you chose).
    Thanks for the help.
    Rheex

Because it wasn't devised with you ripping DVDs in mind, and certainly since Take 2.0 update the focus is on rentals.
It would be logical to offer multiple soundtracks/subtitles etc, but they would add to download size which will be an issue for some people - seems more likely they would offer soundtrack options other than Englisg outside US - ie choose English or another language to rent but not both.

  • SAP audio language not working for *any* channels. Useless tech already came out!

Just got the FIOS service this Friday.
I'm very happy with the internet. Very fast!
The TV, I'm not so happy about.
Having come from AT&T U-Verse, and Time Warner Cable before that, I've gotten used to having the HBO channel lineup (or any premium channels like Showtime/Cinemax/etc) and being able to easily switch between English and Spanish audio. So far, between 6 calls to customer service (each one of them telling me it's possible), and one extremely clueless tech that just left my home after only 5 minutes, I've not been able to do this.
I can SEE the option for SAP! I KNOW HBO offers Spanish audio for its' non-HBO Latino channels. I also know that not all movies have Spanish audio, but the majority of new HBO movies do.
A guy on the phone on Saturday had me convinced that to watch HBO channels with Spanish audio, I had to purchase your Spanish package that comes with extra Spanish channels. I thought this was ridiculous -- since I've already got a PREMIUM package, why in the world would I need to get another package to listen to that premium one in Spanish?! Anyways, I got the package and still no Spanish HBO.
The tech that came and left in 5 minutes changed the channel to HBO Latino and said, "Here, it's working". I pointed out that HBO Latino is not what I meant - none of the other HBO channels have Spanish, althought we could see they said SAP.
What gives, Verizon? This, coupled with the fact that I can't set my main DVR to record a show we're watching on an HD receiver in another room without physically going to the DVR itself (or using a cellphone app!) and that apparently I can only record 1 show on the DVR at a time, has me pining for AT&T... which I never thought would happen.
Hell, even Time Warner Cable's HBO lineup has Spanish.
Sounds to me like your all-fiber network isn't up to snuff on some very basic things.

On your remote push the option button. Then click on audio language and change to spanish. You will be all set
We've been through that appx. 50 times with tech support - not working. Tech guy that came out today said Verizon doesn't offer SAP ... so I don't know what to think now.

  • New video rent/buy feature in iTunes Spain: no original audio version??

    Hi there,
I live in Spain, although I'm not Spanish and I watch movies with original audio, as opposite to average Spaniards that watch movies with Spanish dialogues over the original ones.
Recently Apple opened the iTunes movie store here in Spain (although not yet officially) and you have a very decent and broad selection of movies you can rent or buy. However I was shocked to notice that the movies are with Spanish dialogues over the original ones and there is no offer to rent or buy an original version! This is shocking...
Moreover, with present Apple's policies for Europe, I cannot go to other European store and buy there unless I have an local address and credit card.
Does anyone here from Spain knows how I can use the new movies feature in iTunes and watch movies in original version?
    Thanks in advance.
    JP

    Thank you for your response.
Even if I agree with you in the principle that Apple can only sell what distributors provide, I think Apple and iTunes are a pretty good marketplace for upgraded products where customers are willing to pay more for a markup product: in this case, movies with dual audio and optional subtitles are a must.
The information that you probably don't have (because you're not in Spain) is that we have digital TV everywhere (not cable TV, free public TV) and the majority of open channels provide foreign content (i.e. movies and TV series) with both original and Spanish audio and optional subtitles for free. Also, all the DVDs in Spain are sold with original audio and a couple of other dubbed languages (Spanish and others). This is what makes the decision from Apple not to push distributors to sell or rent movies with dual audio and subtitles completely absurd. Only an average educated and middle income (i.e. price sensitive) customer will be willing to download movies from iTunes Spain, as all the others potential clients (e.g. highly educated, richer and strong iTunes users) already have a better product elsewhere...
But the most frustrating is that I am still trying to contact Apple with this question: Is it or will it be possible to rent or buy movies with original audio in the Spanish iTunes Store?; and I still wasn't able to reach anyone here in Spain (only a support agent in Austin Texas who had no clue of what I was talking about). But I'll keep trying...
    Cheers, JP
