Movies on photo album page not working correctly

I have movies on some photo album pages, and only since updating to Snow Leopard, when I click on a movie, the sound begins to play, but the picture sticks on the poster frame. If I go "back to album" and click the movie again, it will usually play normally. What gives? Anyone else have this happening?

I have a similar problem with movies. Put a movie made on the iphone into a space holder place on a Blog page. Got the green plus sign and it played on the page.
After publishing I see the first frame on the main blog page, but when I click read more to see the movie and whole blog entry I get a faded quicktime symbol with a question mark symbol in the middle.

You can't restore to a backup that was taken on a device which has a higher version of iOS than on your iPad, you will have to update your iPad to 8.1.3 to be able to restore to it
You should be able to update your iPad via Settings > General > Software Update

ITunes Store Pages not working correctly

Since a few days ago iTunes Store (on full page) is not working correctly. The "pictures at the top" do NOT rotate any more (usually every 10 seconds or so before) often with blanks too. Also when clicking on an Lp information the box appears but Blank too. I have tried all the usual methods - permissions and disc checks etc. If I use small page (not full) it seems to work OK. The problem began after Safari 5 arrived. Anyone else having iTunes problems like this? (Similiarly the Dictionary Application with Wikipedia is not working correctly - but thats another issue!). Any answers out there??

This issue has now been completely resolved with the introduction of iTunes 9.2 Everything up and running again - thank you Apple! (Still an issue with Dictionary app/Wikipedia not functioning correctly, this has not been resolved)

Album Page not publishing correctly

I've been using iWeb09 for about a year now for a small gallery. I've never had any problems until I recently tried to create an album page. Setting up the page was easy but I can't get it to publish correctly. Only 2 of the 8 albums appear on my website. I've tried re-building the page from scratch, I tried downsizing the file size of the images, I tried uploading the images through fetch instead directly uploading through iWeb's FTP, nothing has worked. your pictures file names contain space , iweb albums/photos page use picture file names to create sub folder (inside Media folder), here is your media folder:

most if not all servers do not allow special characters in directory/file path, so no directories were created. hence missing thumbnails, ie:

notice the %20 in the url? they are spaces, you need to remove spaces and special characters from your pictures file names and re-do all your albums/photos pages.

Flash in portal page not working correctly

I have two .swf movies. One .swf file is dependant on the other. e.g A.swf is dependent on B.swf. I embed A.swf in the HTML portlet. But B.swf is not being reflected only content specific to A.swf is being shown. I checked the same code deploying it on my midtier app. server and JDev and it works fine. But inside the portal page it doesn't work correctly. I placed both A.swf abd B.swf in htdoc folder and used http://localhost/A.swf and it works fine. It's only that when I use it in the portal page it doesn't work correctly. Any ideas what might be a problem. Thanks

I guess, either i did not put my point across correctly or i have not understood your situation completely...
My Understanding:
File A depends on File B, so meaning that File A must be loading up File B internally (via dependency reference). If this is the case, then the dependancy reference is relative .. Not absolute. Meaning...

|--> File A
|--> File BSo, now A expects B to be available in the same directory as its origin. Translated to the web-page, it expects File B to be available at the same <browser_url> (note, not the url from where File A has originated).
So, the solution is to make A refer to B via a direct URL. I am not sure how you do it in the flash object tags.

Why is my link to My Albums page not working?

Earlier today I created a new page using the template "My Albums". I dragged each of my photo pages into the album to make it more organized. I redirected each of my links to the "My Albums" page. However, once it was posted onto the web using Mobile Me, the page does not exist. Is there an issue with directing links to a My Albums page, or did I do something wrong?

I very much doubt that using CNAME for your domain name will solve issues that you have publishing your site to MobileMe. If you are having problems now, then this won't go away just because you start using CNAME forwarding - you are still publishing your site to MobileMe and not anywhere else, so they will all still be there whether you use CNAME forwarding or not.
1. To set up CNAME forwarding, enter your domain name into the personal domain name settings under your MobileMe account.
2. Go and log into your domain name registrar's site where you registered your domain name and then go to the DNS section and set up CNAME forwarding for your domain name.
You would normally need to forward both the www and the @ to web.me.com. The @ represents your domain name as is, (so http://domain.com) and the www represents your sub-domain (so http://www.domain.com).
Set them up so it should look something like this:
www CNAME web.me.com
@ CNAME web.me.com
This should then work and when you enter your url using your domain name, your site should come up.

Album sync not working correct

Hello everybody,
i use the Photos app since the first Beta and i think that there is potential to be a good App. (IOS really needs the possibility to delete only the local picture an not the one in the include )
Now i updated to the new Yosemite and try to sync the pictures from iCloud. Everything works fine, except my albums.
My Albums are sorted like this:
- Cars
-- Car 1
-- Car 2
-People
-- People 1
-- People 2
-Meeting
-- Meeting 1
-- Meeting 2
- Events
-- Event 1
-- Event 2
On my iphone everything works fine. I See all picture an albums.
On Photos first everything was fine but suddenly after a restart all Albums were gone. I tried to sync them into a new library but all i got was maybe 1/3 of my albums like this:
- Cars
-- Car 1
-- Car 2
-People
-- People 1
-- People 2
All pictures are synced right...
It was the second time now that they gone and i really don't want to tag the faces and the Albums new all the time
hope somebody can help me...

Good luck. I had duplicate albums created also, but am also missing a lot of pictures which do not sync over to other devices or to the web based Photos. I have deleted the Photo library and forced it to import from iPhoto a second time, but the same pictures are missing and have even more duplicate albums. Fortunately I am not doing this with my primary photo library so I can just delete everything and go back to iPhoto.

Album art not working correctly...

On my ipod my album art is all screwed up...it just randomly picks album art and puts it on even if it's not the right one...I'll be listenign to senses fail and frank sinatra's album art will come up...I called the apple store and the guy told me his was doing the same thing and he didn't know how to fix it...any ideas???

Try unchecking "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when your iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your ipod.
Then check "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when youd iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your ipod again.
This should resync the album artwork to the iPod.
If this does not work, you might need to restore the iPod and reload the songs in order to correct this error.

Multiple photos per page not working :( Please help

I see the option for multiple photos per page. It was available 5 minutes ago but now is grayed out and I can not get it back. This is very annoying. Can someone tell me why iPhoto won't let me print multiple photos on the same sheet?

Remember that we know nothing except what you tell us - that it is not working is not much
The most common reason that print multiple photos per page is grayed out is that you either have a photo size/paper size combination that will not fit multiple photos (ie trying to print 2 8x10 photos on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper) or you have not selected but one photo
If these do not help please give us some more detail on what you are doing

My photo Share is not working correctly.

the Share part of my PSE 11 isn't working correctly. Can send photo but cannot control size or quality. All control features are missing. Also, cannot add text to e-mail. I am using Adobe mail. This isn't like my first experience with PSE. I started either is 2 or 3. Everytime I update I have to work through gliches. Yes, I love what PSE can do but sure get tired of gliches. And getting HELP is almost impossible.

It happens quite a lot and customers end up with multiple Adobe Ids. You could keep a list of which products are linked to which email account/ID. If you click on the red Adobe logo a the top of the forum, when logged in you should be able to explore your purchase history and check whether you registered your products.

Photo Album buttons not working

InterMedia JSP photo album demo not working

I have set up the following:
Oracle9i database 9.0.1.3.0 and an iAS 1.0.2.2.1 application server, both on solaris. I have applied patch 1725012 to my iAS.
I followed the instructions in the README.txt and copied the following files from my 9i database install into my iAS environment, and updated my jserv.properties to load these.

Same thing is logged to jserv.log, and nothing is logged to error_log.

Pre - photo albums do not sync correctly!

Hi all,
Total newbie - and also a newbie to Palm. Having moved from iphone to pre, and remaining a mac user, i'm becoming a little stressed at how the simple things just dont seem to be working!!!!
I've downgraded my itunes so i can sync photos to my pre from iphoto. The problem i have is the order in which photos appear in the albums syncd to the phone.
iphoto orders photos within an album by file name - which of course means that the photos within an album are also chronologically in order too. However, when these albums are syncd to my pre, all photos within each album are in reverse order!!!!!
How can i fix this????????

Sorry, but I'm puzzled by "I can't find the folders that have the original files by using the finder." If they are missing from the Finder then iPhoto won't find them and neither will the Apple TV.
If I'm understanding you correctly, you have much more serious problems than inability to see pictures, such as disk directory damage or a failing hard drive. I hope I'm wrong.
Have you looked in Pictures/iPhoto Library/Data/2008? Don't change anything in there, but you should find your most recent pix and can open them with Preview. If you see any with a name like "party" as opposed to "party.jpg" that is what I mean by a filename problem. Depending on where you imported them from, this can happen.
WARNING: Do not change anything in those folders; it will ruin your iPhoto database. For details on that, best to check in with the folks in the iPhoto forum.

What version of iPhoto? Of the OS? what exactly is happening? What have you tried to resolve this? How long have you waited for them to downad? have you looked at http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/photo-stream/ and verified tha tyour set up is correct and looked through the FAQs and troubleshooting tips? Has it ever worked? What has changed since it worked?

Album view not working correctly

I just bought two albums via the Store (first two albums by Men At Work). Whenever I view them, iTunes insists on separating the first track from all the other tracks. (It does this in all three viewing modes - List, Grid, or Cover Flow.)
The albums themselves are organized as they should be...iTunes isn't actually separating the albums, only the viewing of them. (Meaning, if I play the first track, then let it go, it'll go on to the second track, just like any other album.) What's going on? How can I stop iTunes from doing this?
Also, in List mode, iTunes only does this when I tell it to show the Artwork column. Why would it do this? The album art itself is exactly the same for all tracks.
Neither of these are compilations, BTW. Also, the tracks all have exactly the same name for the artist, album artist, etc. (Believe me, I checked that too.)

Did you look at One album, still too many covers? Select all the tracks from one of the albums, change the Artist & *Album Artist* to *Men At WorkX* and add a trailling X to the Album title. On the Sorting tab put ticks against the *Sort Artist*, *Sort Album Artist* & *Sort Album* boxes then click OK to apply the changes. This should merge the album into one entity. Now put back the back the correct values and the album should stay joined up.
