i just got mu apple tv and download a movie from itunes.
when i oplay it in apple tv it apears in all the screen, no black spaces in ani of the sides.
i have an original movie (widescreen) that i want to load to my apple tv but after using a comercial software to tranfer my dvd to apple tv it shows the black spaces in all four sides, can any one tell me how to do this tranfer so i dont get this black spaces, si there a software that can do this in a simple way.

If the original video does not have a 16:9 (1.78:1) aspect ratio (e.g, 1.33:1, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, 2.40:1, etc.) but is played on a 16:9 widescreen TV, then there will be some "black spaces" on your screen when watching in the "normal" viewing mode. If your TV is equipped with user selectable aspect ratios, then you can modify your playback to fill or overfill your screen as you see fit. However, then your picture may appear distorted. If your TV does not include this feature, then you can manually convert your files unconditionally to a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and it will fill the screen (and be distorted as stated above.) If you file has "black spaces" on all four sides, the you are using an incorrect conversion setting. In this case you are probably preserving the original aspect ratio but encoding file to a 4:3 display area which is playing back as a "letterboxed" SD 4:3 movie on your widescreen. In this instance, correct your conversion settings.

If you remove the battery the CPU power will be cut by 50% (whatever they told you) so that there's no lack of power or overheating issues. It's best to always keep the battery in.

What version of the Mac OS X are you running. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and post the version.

You can't unless you have a bootable system on an external drive you can use. Otherwise, you need either the original disc that came with your computer or a retail copy of Snow Leopard DVD. The latter contains 10.6.3, so your model must be capable of booting from that or an earlier version of OS X.

What mail provider are you currently using (Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo?).
Open up safari and go to that providers website and log into your email.
If you get in than open the mail app and click on mail on the top of the screen, then go down to preferences, click on the accounts tab, and type your password. Close the window and it will save.
If this doesn't work I would even try deleting the account by going into mail/preferences/accounts and clicking the - button in the bottom left corner. Than re add and configure the account by pressing the + button.

I was just wondering if i could get the iPod Touch 5th Gen with out the camera... i work in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA and we are not allowed to have cameras in the work area, i have an ipod touch but i think it is only 2nd gen, if i could get the new one with out the camera that would be awesome
