Movies won't load onto iPhone 4S

I have a couple of slideshows I made on iMovie years ago that played fine on iPhone 4. Now I cant get them to sync onto iPhone  4S. What am I doing wrong.

What you need to do is download a movie file converter to convert your movies to mp4 which is the ipod format. I use one called "ipodvideoconverter" just google it and you'll find one that works. Just a heads up though... it usually takes 3-5 hours to convert a 2 hour movie.

Made a "home movie" in iMovie and moved it over to iTunes. Works fine there. Son wants to put it on his new Touch and when I go to move it it gives error message and says movie won't play on this iPod. ??? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help, someday we'll get this and not have to ask a billion questions.

select the file in iTunes. from the advanced menu choose to +create iPod or iPhone version+. try syncing the newly created file to the device.

  • Movies won't load onto iTunes! Please help me, desperately seeking advice

    Hey all.
I just bought a new macbook and new 60g iPod and can't watch movies on my pod.
I try to move them into iTunes and nothing happens, won't drag and drop, won't work if I try import or try to crtl click open with. Just zero happens. I have also tried converting them with iSquint into ipod compatible movies and still nothing. They just won't go anywhere near iTunes. It simply acts as though nothing has happened.
However, my friend was able to put videos onto my ipod from his old iBook.
So frustrating, i bought this new computer so things would work properly and so far not so good.
I have iTunes 7.0.1 and current ipod updater installed on iTunes
Could someone please help me before I tear my hair out!!

    any advice?

3GB for a movie? That's almost equivalent to an original DVD.
Have you checked in the Recently Added playlist?
I think this is possibly linear.  Select 'normal' in HB, iTunes accepts it; select 'high quality' in HB iTunes doesn't.  I can't say why; I don't have any video that anywhere approaches 3GB in size.  If that's how iTunes behaves I don't see you have too many options.  You either select normal and it works, or you select HQ and live with playing the movie outside of iTunes.
I won't ask what movie because any help with illegally ripped copy protected DVDs is strictly prohibited by the Terms of Use so I'm assuming this is a 6 hour video of your puppy playing on the floor.

  • Music loaded onto iphone has completely stripped my iPhone and replaced it with my husbands setup

Music was loaded onto iPhone 4 (version 6 software upgrade) from Macbook pro to my iphone, when this happened, it copied everything from my husbands iPhone and completely wiped out all of my emails, iphotos, messages, contacts, apps....  my iphone now looks like a duplicate of my husbands.  Can this corrected.

You can manage your email accounts in
    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars
However, you should still get all of your emails, contacts and calendars on your @icloud.com email account just as you do on your @me.com account.
But if not, you can add and remove accounts listed above.

  • The App Store won't load on iPhone 4 (v.4.3.3),

The App Store won't load on iPhone 4 (v.4.3.3), it actually opens and shows as if it's trying to load the applications but no result, it's not the internet problem, because Safari opens normal. Any solutions? Is there a way to update only App Store?
    Many thanks in advance

Well i actually did restart the phone, and the App Store worked for some time, then suddenly stopped, and recently there seems to be a new problem, it doesn't connect properly to the wi-fi, though the laptop has perfect conncetion, i guess there is something wrong with the connection on the iPhone itself after all.

  • My file .mov won't load (or) play when put on the server ?

My file .mov won't load (or) play when put on the server ? Yet it works fine in my local network.
The source in DW is = vid.jpeg and the link = vid.mov
I opened the movie in QuickTime player and save it for the web. I pasted what was required...
Can someone help me with this one ?

Could be any number of things. We would need a link to the actual on-line page to diagnose further.

  • ITunes won't load my iPhone but the colour wheel showed up

I've been syncing my iPhone 5 to my iTunes (I'm using MacBook Pro), but about a month ago after an software update in my iPhone, iTunes won't load my iPhone.
The iTunes recognised my iPhone as the symbol showed up and the colour wheel for loading showed up.
But the colour wheel showed up forever. I've waited for 2 hours and its still there, and I can't click anything in my iTunes although background music is still playing. I had to force quit my iTunes (but my iTunes works normally if there is no phone connected to it)
I've updated my mac to OS X Yosemite, latest, and my iPhone to iOS 8.1.3. I tried resetting network setting on my phone.
PS: I can sync iTunes with my iPod 2nd generation, but not my iPad (same problem).
Please help, I want to sync my phone to iTunes. iPhoto works with my phone!

  • Some songs won't load onto my iPhone 4 D:

Please, I put about 300 songs in my iphone
they all got sync., but when I want to add some more, they won't ''load'' in it; the little circle isnt fulled like the other songs did. I have enough space in my phone, and I already tried to put away all the songs and put them back. I closed my phone many times, and my computer too. I'm almost raging. help me.

    Hello lightninghbolt
Try to remove the tracks from your iPhone by unchecking the Sync Music in the Music Tab within iTunes. You can also Drag and drop the tracks to your iPhone to get them to sync as well. It is also a possibility that you may just need to convert the songs to a different format and sync as well. Check out the articles below for all the steps need to troubleshoot.

  • Movies won't load.

The movies have been on my itouch before.I just updated it,and now it won't load some of my movies. My setting are ok.Any thoughts?

I don't think this is a WIndows OR Mac issue. It's in both. My iPod Touch has had problems with videos and movies from the start.
My solution to this was to create smart-Play-lists:
    Music Videos is like this:
    Match ALL, Media Kind-Is-Music Video
the only way I could get the music videos to show up. the TV shows, and iTunes movies show up just fine.
I still have an problem with movies I didn't download from iTunes.
I think this changed in the last update. Before, I had no problem with non-iTunes movies. Now... I do.
Another problem is that (according to the iPod the movie IS TAKING UP SPACE).
When I load into the Status page on iTuness, it shows the Purple bar as long. When it starts to update, it drops down. I guess it realizes it not really there, but when it finishes, it jumps back up again. If I unclick the movie to be added, then the bar stays short.
    SOLUTION:
    at least kind of.
I now have to open QuickTime Pro, and Export the Movie to an iPhone format.+(even if the movie is already an m4v,mov, or mp4)+
This will 100% of the time get the movie to transfer. This *****, because I can no longer just grab movies I want to watch, and GO. I have to think about what movie I want to watch way in advance, and convert them. This also gives me TWO COPIES of every Movie.
    Stupid.

  • Website won't load on iPhone? Not Flash.

Hey guys, the website http://www.esysco.ca won't load on my iPhone. It's not Flash so I don't really understand why. Anyone have any answers?
    Thanks!
    Jillian

It's a very stupidly made website. For some unknown reason they have used Javascript to load the page contents into a frame and also they redirect the user if they try to load the frame contents directly.
There's absolutely no reason for them to do this. Their web developers must be clueless and have not tested their site on anything other than computer browsers with mouse input.

  • Movie won't load to iPod

I have converted many of my DVD's using Handbrake and put them on iTunes and my iPod. The last movie I converted will play on iTunes, but will not load onto my iPod. I have my preferences set to put all movies on my iPod. In the iPod Update summary/movies it doesn't even list the movie, if I were to select the option to only upload selected movies.
The only difference between this new movie and all the others is that this is the first movie I've converted and tried to upload to my iPod since upgrading to Leopard.

    wrong thread sorry

  • Sync 4S to iCloud, then load onto iPhone 5?

I have not been able to figure this one out.  I got my new iPhone 5 today.  I backed up my iPhone 4S to my computer.  When I connected my new 5 to my computer, it used a backup from July, 2010 (and not the one that I had just loaded).  Don't know why.
So then I figured I would back up to iCloud from my 4S and load onto the 5.  I simply don't know how to accomplish this.  Any guidance?

    Maybe this will help...?

  • Movies won't sync to iPhone

I have an iPhone 4S running the latest software. I am using the latest iTunes on Mac OS X Lion. I like to have iTunes pull old movies off of my phone and add new ones. However, lately my movies won't sync. iTunes goes through the full sync process with no errors, but when I open Videos on the iPhone, nothing has changed. Sometimes the new movies will appear but be all grayed out with no way to watch them. Clicking on the iPhone icon in iTunes shows that the movies are on the phone, but if I go into the Usage section on the phone, they won't be there. No matter how many times I sync, the movies never update. I have tried restarting the phone before a sync, but that doesn't work either. It doesn't matter if the sync is wifi or USB. I have also tried unclicking the sync movies box in iTunes to have it start from scratch, but the grayed out movies stay there. The only thing that works is to turn off iTunes Match on the phone, turn off syncing all media in iTunes, sync, turn off syncing all media in iTunes again, sync again, reselect the media for syncing in iTunes again, sync one more time, and then turn iTunes Match back on. And I'm not even sure that works every time.

How did a bug solve the problem?
I experience the same problem with covers - the problem is ages old and nothing gets done to fix or at least explain it - :-(
iOS8.1 does not fix this awful awful bug :-(

  • App store won't load on iPhone 6

I just bought an iPhone 6. Everything works fine except for the App store. When I click on the icon, the only thing that comes up is a blank white screen, except at the bottom the Featured, Top Charts, Explore, Search, and Updates are shown. When I click on any of these, nothing happens. I have tried closing out the app and rebooting the phone. Doesn't change a thing. And it doesn't matter if I am connected to WiFi or LTE, still won't load.
    Can anyone offer advice?
    Thank you.

    Hi, mas71.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that I would recommend going through for this issue.
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.
