Moving and

I bought some music files and downloaded them to the default location on my C: drive. I then copied and pasted them to my network L: drive. iTunes is not picking them up in either the Home Sharing or Music file listing. Why? How should I have done it?

Right now they are just sitting on your drive and are not part of your iTunes library. iTunes is "not picking them up" because it is not designed to look for files.
To get them into your Tunes library, use the command File > Add File (or Folder) to Library, and navigate to the correct location where the files are.

I recently moved and had to disconnect my WD My Pro Edition II 2TB external drive I had been using for backup.
Its been several months (many upgrades to the iMac software during this time), and now when I try to reconnect the external dire (Use a firewire cable) it does not recognize the drive is there. I also tried "reloading" software from the Western Digital site, but after following all the instructions, it looks like my iMac doesn't support this software (I can't even locate it after I follow all the instructions.

First of all, you do not really want to use their software; if you want a bootable clone, use either Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. If you simply want to drag and drop some files, you don't need software to do that. The important thing on any external drive is that you format/partition it correctly (Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and using GUID partition scheme).
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about WD drives or their software, so I don't have any idea what kind of backup you did. Having said that, it should still recognize the external even if it's outdated. Have you tried mounting it manually in Disk Utility? If you can get it to mount, you could (worst case scenario) just drag your stuff off onto your internal and then reformat the external.

Moving and copying events and projects to an external hard drive using Imovie09-Source clip is missing

Some background on what I am doing is importing all of my home video into an event in IMovie. Since DVD's can only hold about 2 hours of footage, I am making a new project for each 2 hours so I can burn the footage onto a DVD. I want to make space on my internal hard drive so I am trying to move the projects that are completed to an external drive. Because I also don't want to lose any footage I have imported into the event I am also copying the home video event to the external drive. (didn't want to move it yet until I know what i am doing, just in case it is lost somehow).
I tried moving a project to the external drive (it was a slideshow for my daughters first birthday which contained photos and video clips from the event that was already copied to the external drive). The project did move to the external hard drive but on the video clips there is a yellow triangle that says source clip is missing. I am moving and copying from within Imovie and NOT the finder so I don't understand why it says the clip is missing when it is definitely a part of the event that is already on the external drive.
What is interesting is the source clip is missing error showed on the first birthday project but it did NOT show as an error when I moved the 2 hour home video project. (All of the video in these projects are coming from the same home video event)
I am trying to make sure that when I move the projects permanently off the internal hard drive and onto the external drive, that I am not losing any part of my projects. I want to be able to easily move them back and forth if needed without any missing files.
Any suggestions as to why I am still receiving the yellow triangle?

As I can't see what you are doing, I can't tell you what you might be doing wrong.
You could try trashing the preferences.
Many weird things happen as a result of corrupt preferences which can create a vast range of different symptoms, so whenever FCP X stops working properly in any way, trashing the preferences should be the first thing you do using this free app.

Shut down FCP X, open PreferenceManager and in the window that appears:-
1. Ensure that only FCP X is selected.
2. Click Trash
The job is done instantly and you can re-open FCP X.
There is absolutely no danger in trashing preferences and you can do it as often as you like.
The preferences are kept separately from FCP X and if there aren't any when FCP X opens it automatically creates new ones . . . instantly.

Moving and properly placing fields in a FormsCentral form

I've just started using this software that came with Acrobat XI and began designing a form from scratch. Moving and placing fields in your desired location seems to be quite challenging unless there is something I do not understand about the process. The primary annoyance is when using the left side handle to change the width of a field, all other fields above appear to be connected and all change widths together. Also, moving a field along a horizontal plane always ha sthat field snap back to its original position. Any help here?

All th fields in the first column in FormsCentral share the same label width. You might want to try to put the label on top if you don't like this behavior.
If you insert fields on the right on a form element then you can independently set its label width.
You can only put a form element next to another one. If you want more horizontal "spacing" between element you can resize it by increasing the previous element width. In the image below you can see what you need to "drag"to increase spacing.

Inventory Buckets as Slow Moving and Non Moving

Hi Experts.
I have an Requirement for Buckets in Inventory as Slow moving and Non Moving
Considering:
1) For 0 to 30 days 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL as no movement and 30 to 60 days there is movement then consider Slow Moving.
2) For 0 to 90 days 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL as no movement then consider Non Moving.
Considering:
Here I am taking 0VALSTCKVAL instead of 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL because as it inflow and outflow.
So how can I create Buckets for above Requirement.

For creating Buckets first need to Have Date Fields logiv 0 to 30 days based on what char's we need to consider like :
User entered date - Created date = Difference (0 -30).
Systems Date (Today's Date) - Created Date .
or do you have any calculated field in modelling which contains this data.
kfg might be any either 0VALSTCKVAL instead of 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL .
Just need to create New selction/RKF based on those date Difference and restricting with existing 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL.

So the question now is about moving. If I dd sda5 to sda4 will I have to set something up for it work? Like some offsets/adresses?
If I am able to move sda5 to sda4, the rest will be fairly easy. Any about my partitiong layout - it's manual, I've used fdisk, cryptsetup, mkfs and the lvm tools that come with the arch install iso.
Also some have misunderstood - currently everything but the boot partition, which is on another drive, is encrypted - in one LUKS partition and inside it there is an LVM with the different partitions.
I've tested on a virtual machine by doing the following:
unmount partitions
move the luks partition by using dd with opts bs=4096 conv=notrunc,noerror,sync

Worked like a charm(if you need to remove mappers use dmsetup).
After that: the uuid's of the lvm's are the same so that's cool. Just need to get the UUID of the new luks partition and set it in grub's cryptroot parameter.

Still I think I will backup everything first, then I will try this.

Try this in order to transfer a person from one picture to another
In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
If you want to "remove" someone from a group shot, select something else from an adjacent area on the picture or from another picture, then copy/paste it on a blank layer at the top and position it with the move tool to cover over
For additional guidance, it would help if you post the picture and tell us precisely what you wish accomplish.

You may have to call into Verizon Customer care if you have a smartphone to remove the data plan and help you move over. Other than that it's a simple swap between devices. Contract doesn't matter unless you negligent in payment(or the person who you bought the device from is).

I went to Reason and Logic and they both say check your device and/or connection. Can't detect anything.

Moved and now can't find Music Store

I recently moved and after reassembling my system using comcast cable as I did before I get an error message stating that the music store can't be opened because my network settings are wrong. Comcast moved my email account and I have no issues with email or internet access. Any suggestions???

when I export from LR5 to edit an image in Photoshop CC, I get a box announcing:

I get this message EVERY TIME (although only once per session) I invoke Photoshop from Lightroom.
Of interest is this: when I launched Photoshop before launching Lightroom in the hope it would pass the image to the open program, Lightroom gave the error message anyway and opened another Photoshop session. I didn't think you could have two sessions running parallel and independantly.
I had CS6 installed when I installed LR5. Then I installed CC. Some time later, I used Adobe's uninstaller to remove CS6.
There's only a single version of Photoshop on my Mac - in Applications.
Somewhere in the system, Lightroom is reading a parameter set that's confusing it. That's the most likely cause to one who doesn't know the internals even though I looked through all of the user and system files that I could find that appeared to be related.
Is there a file I can tweak or is there another way of resolving this annoyance?

It went away in 5.5.
I never found out the original cause (and, since it now worked, hadn’t pursued it further).
