Moving house - why can't BT get anything right?

I have read so many similar posts its probably not worth me wasting more of my time, but I am exasperated with the lack of service, lack of communication and almost laughable inability to do anything from BT support staff. Why is it a difficult thing to organise a move to a house with an existing BT landline? Why do I have to spend days with queues for over an hour, be passed from pillar to post and still get nowhere? I wouldn't have a job if I performed that poorly. Still not resolved and so I will be moving to Sky - once I finally get through to someone on the phone to tell them. ...

    YouTube Content Creators have the ability to disable embedding if they wish to keep their videos on YouTube only. This is most likely what has occurred and is more than likely not an issue with Firefox itself.

    This is a bug experienced by quite a few users lately that I'm sure Apple is aware of and working on. I have never had this problem, so I can't speak for myself, but I would try a reset. Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

    Why can't I get my Ipod shuffle to do anything? Before it stopped playing, saying or doing any thing I checked battery and it was full! This has happened before with another Ipod shuffle and I took it back. well, my new one is doing it. It plays for a while and then it decides to stop. Has anyone else experienced this?

    I can not even see a light when I switch it on and off. No voice over to tell me anything. Zero music!

    Does the iPod connect to other networks?
    Does the iPod see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iPod connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:                 
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    I have run virus scans and have checked for updates for firefox, when ever I attempt to access these updates my firefox browser shuts down and I have to open it again. There are no viruses or malware on my computer and everything but firefox is updated! Why can I not access anything but the firefox help page and my Facebook?

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

    As has been pointed out, the Adobe Photoshop Forum is NOT staffed by Adobe employees (though a few engineers DO stop by, when they have the time), and we are but users, such as yourself. The difference is that many users here have decades of experience with Ps, and can often solve all sorts of issues, of a technical nature.
    Ranting, and listing bad experiences with Adobe Technical Support (or Customer Support), will NOT reach Adobe - just other users, who might have also had negative experiences with Adobe T/S, but who are powerless to change anything, at a corporate level - also noted by others in this thread.
    We, as users, have no access to any communications that you might have had with T/S - no phone logs, no case numbers, nothing. All that we have is what YOU provide us, regarding YOUR problem. I get messages that 0 kb is available when I just got the computer a week and a half ago and only installed microsoft office and adobe photoshop. Help!

    This is a confusing complaint...and kind of disturbing. Perhaps you could answer a few questions:
    1. How much space is left on your HD? If there weren't any available space left, it would be very difficult to boot your applications.
    2. Do you back up at all? Given your situation, it might be a good time to start, given the situation. Backup drives are relatively inexpensive these days.
    If this problem persists, a visit to your local Apple Store might be a good idea - but until then, please let the community here help.

    for more than 2 years we've repeatedly asked for our comcast tv and internet to be fixed. for 2 years it's been the same thing, change the box and say everything is fine, when it's not. for the last month there have been multiple appontments made with none kept and with no call. no one seems to know a thing or even care and it's gotten way too old, to the point of cancelling and moving on to fios/verizon. so I ask why can't we get any help?. we've asked for an upgrade, no past money is due, can't play video games live (runs too slow) things just do not work as advertised and again no one here or where ever our calls are sent to seems to care. it's we'll send someone on this date and then they don't show, call again and the same thing. 5 times in the month of July alone.

    Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for.  What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

    You likely had FF 3.6 instead of 6. At the moment, FF 4 is the latest version. If you wish to rollback to an earlier version, you can download your preferred version for your OS here:

    FF 4 is the latest and greatest. If you are not experiencing specific problems that force you to roll back to an earlier version, you will probably want to stick with FF 4.
