Moving Images objects to another tree

Is it possible to move or recreate the workstation image object from one
tree to another. I'm migrating from an NW6 SP5 cluster to NW6.5 SP4
cluster. Zen 4.0.1 IR7 has already been installed.

not any supported ways.. you could take a look at coolsolutions for some
edir tools
If you have already compiled drivers or have linux.2 please put them on

  • Moving images (objects)

    Ok, this might be a stupid question, but when I copy and paste an image into keynote 09 I can't move it around anywhere. I can move object placeholders prior to putting an image on them, but I can only put one of those on a slide. How do I move around numerous images I'm taking from elsewhere and place them at different locations on a slide?
    Thanks

    When you copy from your plotting application, you seem to be copying vector data, possibly postscript or maybe something else if it's old like pict file. When it gets to KN it is not interpreting it correctly and somehow generating an error that doesn't let you resize. Vector art for a plot has advantages over a bit map file in size and in not being resolution limited in the way a bit map is. You could try printing a PDF from your plotting application to keep the vector art. You may need to mask the result in keynote to hide bit's of printout you don't want. If you have a vector-based drawing application you can edit the file itself.
    To make an image a placeholder select the image and use *Format Menu> Advanced> Define as Media Placeholder*. This allows you to hot-swap the file being used so that the placement, opacity and any builds you assigned to the previous image stay applied to the replacement image. It should not make any difference to your ability to resize the image.

  • Moving Tablespaces and other data-Objects to another HD

    Hi,
    XE is running on Win XP Pro SP2 here. It installs the datafiles on C:\ too. That's no proper solution because system loss could cause data loss in a bad crash.
    Otherwise in managed enviroments often the sytemdrive will be autmatically cleaned for new desktop solutions.
    Is there some experience about moving the tablespaces /moving the datafiles to another HD/Partition?
    Doing this on 10g with EMGC is an easy job.
    But how does this work on XE?
    thx for respone
    regards
    Franz

    You can not move tablespaces. They are logical units that do not have a location. The required space allocation for a tabelespace is through one or more datafiles.
    There is no problem moving data files to another drive. Effectively you
    1) shutdown the database
    2) copy the data file to the new location
    3) Update (not edit) the control files to point to the new data file.
    Step 3 is done by bringing up the database into 'control files are available and read into memory, but data files are not available' (the 'Mount' state) and issuing the ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE ... command.
    Details, with examples in the 10gR2 DBA manual http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14231/dfiles.htm#i1106090, at Chapter 9 in the Renaming and Relocating Datafiles section.
    Full command syntax in the SQL Reference manual http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_1004.htm#i2079942 in the ALTER DATABASE section.

  • Add Tags to Document tool put one object behind another or just deletes page content?

    Using Acrobat XI Pro to make documents 508 compliant PDF. I've had a number of issues went using Add Tags to document option, it’s put one object behind another or deleting it all together. Also had issues when trying to adjust the reading order, content is moved or deleted. This PDF is created from InDesing CS5
    Anybody know what I'm talking about or have any ideas about how to fix it? Thank

    Content should not ever be deleted by adding tags, but it may appear so since - as you note - objects may go into hiding behind other objects. In theory you can bring them out of hiding by rearrange things in the Order pane, but I have much better luck using the Content pane - it provides a much finer level of control. If text is hidden behind a shaded box, for example, I will move the box above the text in the Content order, then usually convert the box to an artifact if it is not one already.
    Hope this helps.

  • Add image/object in HTML Editor Standard item (apex 3.2)

    Hi,
    I'm using the HTML editor standard item from Apex3.2.
    I want the possibility to add an image/object in the editor, but I don't see that option on the HTML editor standard item.
    How do I activate this option? Can someone help me out please?
    I've found something on:
    http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/enable-add-picture-for-html-editor/#high_1
    Is this the only & easiest solution?
    Thanks,

    Sunenny,
    Yes, it would take something like that. Another option, although not any easier really, it to use the latest CKEditor.

  • Actions- move object to another layer

    Is it possible in Illustrator CS4 to record an action that selects a particular object in a layer called base & move the selected object into another layer called blue & lock the layer that the object was moved? Any suggestions are welcome

    An Action can record the assignment of a Note to a selected object.
    An Action can select an object by its Note.
    An Action can record the locking of a Layer if it is done in the Layer Options dialog, not by just clicking the Lock icon.
    The problem is recording a step that will switch you to another Layer. However, selecting an object makes its Layer the current Layer. So, you can, for example:
    Assume you have two Layers: Base and Blue.
    Assume there is an object on Layer Blue with a Note: "OnBlue".
    Assume there is a selected object on Layer Base that you want to move to Layer Blue.
    The Action would:
    1. Cut the selected object to the Clipboard.
    2. Lock the current Layer Base. (Toggle Dialog Off.)
    3. Select the object that is noted “OnBlue”. (Thus, LayerBlue becomes the current Layer.)
    4. Paste (or PasteInFront or PasteInBack to cause it to paste in the same location).

  • Moving images between folders is SLOW

    Moving images from one folder to another seems unusually slow, even if the folders are on the same hard drive.
    Additionally, the thumbnails stay in the original folder until I restart LR. I vaguely recall something that caused the thumbnails to update very slowly, but right now I find it's quicker to just quit LR and restart it.
    Special circumstances that might be contributing to the problem -
    Source Folder -
    18 GB of images from a wedding shoot. 6 multi GB cards, each with a few subfolders of their own.
    I'm trying to move about 500 images at a time.
    Destination Folders -
    Nothing special there other than trying to get the 500 images into them in one move.

    Turn on curmudgeon switch -
    No, I won't find it is slow because LR is checking files and making sure all is okay. Other than a slowly moving progress bar, I have no idea what it is doing. There is only a hint of something being checked is that sometimes the progress bar moves slowly for about 1/3 of the length and then relatively quickly the rest of the way, which is when I hear the hard drive becoming more active. (Maybe that's the checking / moving phases.)
    Turn off curmudgeon switch -
    Now it makes sense that LR needs to make sure that a file of the same name does not exist in the destination folder. Maybe it needs to check database integrity in some way while moving the files. Maybe the undo-ability of the process causes need for special care.
    My guess is that some of the database code for whatever it is doing is written poorly.
    And there is still the problem that the thumbnails do not get refreshed. They are still visible in the old folder. How do I work around that?

  • Accidentally moving a directory on directory tree happens on occassion, shall be a question: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE DIR1 to DIR2

    Hello,
    Accidentally moving a directory on directory tree happens on occassion
    shall be a question: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE DIR1 to DIR2.
    I have a TB profile on USB stick and 2 or 3 times happen that I moved
    accidentally one diretory onto another and run out of space.
    Thunderbird TB crushed and lost lot of emails.
    There shall be a popup asking: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE DIR1 to DIR2
    preventing to do that action automatically as it is unstoppable and unreversable
    and in case of low disk space leads to DB corruption.
    Best Regards and please continue great job in developing Thunderbird!

    And I think it would be a very nice enhancement and shall be added anyway.
    (After first popup, there shall be a checkbox - do never ask again)
    Once you face the problem (don't now how big your DB is, mine 20GB, 9 years) then maybe you change your mind. How many times a day you reorganize your folders? Have your moved a folder bigger then 2 or 3 GB by click?

  • Moving multiple objects in a Finder window

    Try a simple experiment in Tiger (10.4): in a Finder window with the icon view + snap to grid ON, select multiple grouped objects (e.g. 10-20) and move them to a different place in the same window.
    They will not stay grouped but be sometimes dispersed in a random way or even move to places belonging to different grids.
    Another experiment is to move a single object from one window into another one: this changes the grid of the second window from time to time.
    This is extremely annoying when you want to keep the icons ordered.
    This bug existed also in Panther.
    I'm convinced it will exist in the next Mac OS X release. Do you bet ?

    Hi DarkStar,
    In my case there are no other major application running when I see the moving multiple objects bug in the Finder. And (as for econupmac) the problem is intermittent.
    I've checked the bug again and realize that it appears mostly when I'm moving a group of objects belonging to different columns. Here is what I did:
    Create a folder with the 'Snap to grid' option ON and 'Icon size 16x16'. Set its View as Icon. Load this folder with 30 files and organize them into 3 groups of 10 files side by side. Enlarge the size of the folder to have plenty space by maneuver.
    Now select the 5 bottom files of the middle column and move them gently around, then release them. The 'Snap to grid' feature will work fine and the files will be shifted to the nearest grid position... except when the files will stay in the middle of nowhere (you might need to do it several times until it happens).
    THIS IS THE APPLE BUG.
    This bug is more easily seen when a group of objects belonging to 2 adjacent columns is moved. Check this on a nicely arranged folder : Select the 5 bottom files of the middle column and the 5 bottom files of the right column and move them slightly. I bet that they will not stick to the grid. This will create a second grid which corrupts the folder. The next time you'll move around objects in this folder you'll see how crazy the folder behaves.

  • From an image field to an image object...?

    Hello everyone,
    Since the image field will always be in the front I have a problem. I want the user to choose an image. This image should be in the background but after having chosen the image it appears in the front covering every other object.
    So what I'm thinking about is creating an image object for the background and a small image field where the users choses his image. The chosen image should then appear in the image object in the background.
    I tried it with javascript but it didn't work. I had success with textfields trying something similar, but now I have no clue about it.
    Does anybody know how to realize this?
    Thanks, Knud

  • Script to Assign an image to an image object

    Hi,
    I am using FormCalc and and created an image object in my form to which I would like to assign an image based on a user selection in another drop down field. In other words, a script is attached to the drop down field that selects (perhapse using file location) the image that is displayed in the image object based on the user selection. I would greatly appreciate help on the FormCalc syntax to achieve this. Thanks

    You might want to ask this in the LiveCycle Designer forum here, if you haven't already.

  • Outputting an Image object to jpg or png

    Hello,
    I have an Image object in my code that is output from another java object. The other java object is from a libarary of GIS classes known as JLOOX.
    Anyway, I have an Image stored in the Image object but want to output it to a file. I was looking at the Java Almanac and saw a page http://javaalmanac.com/egs/javax.imageio/Graphic2File.html However, this uses a BufferedImage object.
    Is there anything I can do with the Image object to output to a file? Can I convert it to a BufferedImage somehow?

    BufferedImage b = new BufferedImage(
    source.getWidth(), source.getHeight(),
    BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_ARGB  );
    b.getGraphics().drawImage( 0, 0, source, null );
    ImageIO.write( b, "png" );Thanks, but I have an Image object. How do I write the Image object to ImageIo.write?

  • Copy tree structure to another tree structure

    I have a tree, but I want to copy this structure to another structure.
    say I got a tree model:
    1
    2 3
    4 5 6
    2,3 are the children of 1;
    4 is the child of 2; 5,6 are the children of 3.
    after I have got this structure, I want to build a tree structure in this way:
    object1
    object1.add(2),object1.add(3)
    object2.add(4)
    object3.add(5),object3.add(6);
    I want to build a dynamic tree, so i cann't do this, I need a way to build a tree from any tree model into such a tree structure.
    thanks!

    Hi jiangyubao!
    To copy a tree to another tree, each node (obejct) in the tree needs to have a method that can return the children of that node, all the objects one level below this node in the tree. Then you can copy the tree using a loop that looks a little bit like this:
    public void copyTree(newTree, oldTree){
    TreeNode children[] = oldTree.children();
    for(int i=0; i<children.length; i++){
    newTree.add(copyNode(children);
    public TreeNode copyNode(TreeNode oldNode){
    //the call to the constructor of the TreeNode should
    // copy the data from the TreeNode passed as argument
    TreeNode newNode = new TreeNode(OldNode);
    TreeNode children[] = oldNode.children();
    for(int i=0; i<children.length; i++){
    //call this method again recursively to get down through
    // all levels of the tree.
    newNode.add(copyNode(children[i]);
    And that should be it. Any questions, just fire :-)

  • ATTACHING one object to another - best way?

    Whats the best way to ATTACH one object to another in my 3D composition?
    For example, I have a circular logo which I am spinning and moving in 3D space. I want to attach a lens flare graphic to it at it's right edge.
    I will then animate the brightness of this lens flare for a few seconds.
    How do I make sure BOTH of these graphics are spinning and moving married together x,y,z all the time?
    Thanks,,

    Howdy,
    As Certified said, grouping multiple elements and animating the group is ideal, but as you pointed out, you often animate one object and only later decide to include more elements in the animation.
    You can copy and paste the keyframes/behaviors or drag-and-drop the animated channels from one object to the next, but that means having to update a bunch of elements every time you want to make a change. The best solution: the Match Move behavior (sound of trumpets).
    In addition to pixel-based tracking, Match Move can tell one object to simply match the transforms of another. It has two modes: attach and mimic. Attach basically nails the match-moved object to its source. Mimic has the match-moved object perform the same animation as the source. A movie that better shows the distinction can be found here.
    This works for position, scale and rotation transforms. By default, Match Move will set the next object down in the Layers List to be the source. Just drag and drop a new source (if need be) and you're good to go. Keep in mind that the behavior is overriding the targeted transforms channels on the object, so any other animation on those channels will be ignored. This is why doing the group thing is the most flexible.
