Moving Music from AOL Account to Existing Apple Account

Hey everybody,
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to move music I purchased with an AOL account to an existing Apple Account? I still have the AOL account (don't use it very much), but would rather just all my music be under my Apple account. Also, if anyone knows how to delete an AOL account (after I get my music moved of course), that would be great. Too many account just become tedious. Thanks! --luau

You created a new AppleID?
Why not simply update your old AppleID so you have only one iTunes account?

Transferring music from one account to another

I wanted to know if there is any way I can transfer music from one account to another account, my music library has over 1000 songs and i do not want to download them again, is there a way? THANKS!

Below is the information on how to take the music and transfer it to another machine that will be using the same apple ID.
But as stated earlier there is no way to transfer music to a brand new Apple ID without having to purchase it again as all music is tied into the Apple ID used at time of purchase.

You can't. Music purchased from iTunes is associated in perpetuity (like, forever) to the account from which it was originally purchased. There is not a way to change it.
It is possible, but clumsy, to manage music from multiple accounts. Unless you have some unusual requirement, it is best to use just a single account.

Your description of the problem is a bit confusing. Do you have ONLY ONE Apple ID or do you have MORE THAN ONE?

Yes. Sign in to the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy the music in settings on the phone.
Then tap on "purchased" in the iTunes app on the phone and download the music to your new iPhone.

Question about moving music from an iPod to your computer.

In my household, we have iTunes on three different computers. My mother downloaded music on my brother's computer, and it's on his library. We want to burn a cd with the purchased album, but his computer does not have a cd burner, but the other two do. Is there a way to move music from one computer to another, or possibly moving music from an iPod to a computer's library?

Music is synced to iphone from itunes.
Plug in iphone and select whatever you like to sync from itunes to iphone.

So i have an itunes account on dell laptop and i share that account with other famliy members. I recently bought a mac pro and wanted to create a new account that way i can use icloud, is there any possible way to transfer everything from my old library to my new one or will i lose everything i had on my phone and ipods? Just get copies of the song files and add them to your iTunes library. With the exception of any DRM-protected files (purchased before mid-2009 and never upgraded) they will play fine, even though they are technically associated with the original account.

You can't, all content is tied to the account that purchased / downloaded it and it can't be copied or transferred to a different account.
