Moving out and roommate wants new service in her name... 5 day wait?
Phone/internet/DirectTV are in my name. I am moving out and my roommate would like to have new service in her name. She works a lot from home/is on call and can't be with out internet for any extended period of time. I thought I could schedule termination of my service on one day and she could schedule her new service to start on say the next day. When I called customer service to verify we could do this I was told she would not even be able to put an order in for services until mine were already terminated and it would take at least 5 days from her order date to begin her services. This does not sound right to me. Anyone know if this is true or not?

In order to continue to play and sync the music you purchased with your old account, you'll need to authorize your new computer/iTunes library to do so. You can do this by choosing Store -> Authorize This Computer and then entering in your old account credentials.
That's all you should need to. Then just create your own account and start purchasing and using it the same you have with the old one.

I have moved my Photoshop CS5 to my traveling computer,a Surface Pro 3. I have photoshop loaded but in trying to look at raw images it says my camera raw does not support the sony alpha 65 which is what I have. I went out and tried to download the newest raw version and even went out and did a zipfile download and it will not update my current version. What should I do
I have 6.0. Tried to download newest verion and it will not download. Went out and then downloaded a zipfile and it still will not download, thus cannot look at my raw pictures.

I updated my 4s to ios7 and the phone is now completly dead. I tried to restore it with the new itunes but it won't restore. If you can't get the download be glad! Anyone have any ideas other than going out and buying a new Samsung phone? I don't really need a paper weight.
No not jailbroken. After the update which took about 45 minutes. The phone went black. Dead. Wouldn't restart. Using the new itunes I tried to restore it. It went through the motions; the white Apple and progress bar appeared on the iphone screen. Then I got a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." Then the phone went completly dead again. I Repeated the process and got the same results. Is there another way to restore the phone if it's dead, besides itunes?

Hi guys yesterday i had my house robbed and they took my iMac which i purchased in 2011. so i went out and purchased a new iMac today but im having problems transfering all my music from my iPhone 5 to it. Any suggestions???

You cannot. The iPhone is locked to Softbank, and only they can unlock it. Problem is that Softbank will NOT unlock the phone, as they do not offer iPhone unlocking.
Buy an iPhone in the Phillipines.
PS Before you go on a rant at Apple, be aware that Apple does NOT unlock phones and they do not set unlocking policies. The carriers (Softbank in this case) set the unlocking policy. -
OK so I just made a wireless network and using the apple box or whatever. And I want to change the network name. How do I do that?

Everything Rick has said is like an echo to what is happening to me.
I have tried re-installing iTunes, and restarting the Bonjour service, sadly there is no change.
earlier before i updated iTunes it recognised my iPod but said that I had to update iTunes in order for it to work.
So i updated iTunes but now it's not even showing the device anywhere.

WIFI GREYED OUT AND APPLE WANTS TO CHARGE 200$....

I've had my 4s for about 2 years now and since updating to IOS 7.04 my wifi has greyed out and will not work. I've tried all the reseting issues(airplane mode, reset network settings, erase all settings), all of these have fixed issue for about 20 minutes and then wifi greys out again. I went to an Apple store and they were willing to change the phone for a 200$ fee. Seriously?? I can't believe that Apple would do this. This is my first experience with an Apple product being defective and I was appalled. I was with blackberry for over 10 years and anytime I had an issue with warranty there was not questions asked and device was replaced and I did not have to pay anything. I was at the Apple store at 9am and there was about 50 customers with issues. WOW!! All that to say that I'm now stuck with a device that has now WIFI. This is just great.
Thank you APPLE for your great support!!Like I said on my previous post. I am not complaining about the warranty, If the phone becomes defective and it is my fault and I don't have a warranty anymore, I'm fine with paying to get a new phone. I'm just saying, when its become clear that this is an issue with the update that Apple has sent and to no fault of mine that my wifi is not working anymore(and others can concur that they've been having the same wifi issue after updating to IOS 7 and later), it would be very sincere of a company as big as Apple and seems willing to help their customers stay with their products, that they should be abit more attentive to the consumer that spends their hard earned money on their product. Especially when it seems to be that the phone is not working because of their updates that they have sent.
