Moving the tabs to right of the jsf page in the adf panel tabbed component

Hi,
i want to move the tabs in the panel tabbed component to the right. In the property inspector of this component, it doesn't have an option called right. How can we do this?

And if this is the new IOS Pages v2 (or the older IOS Pages 1.7.2), you click the wrench icon and then Document Setup. Tap the document header to edit it, and apply the same instructions that I gave previously for OS X Pages v5.
The process for Pages ’09 v4.3 is slightly different. You click the Header, and enter your document title and your name as previously described. You will need Menu > View > Show Ruler. Click once in the ruler at the first or second mark after the 7 inch (roughly 18cm). This will set a tab. Now position the insertion mark behind your title and tab once to the mark you set. all this works but when i right click on a message or news item and select "OPEN IN NEW TAB" - it fails to open the tab in this current window it opens it in the parent window --
the way i have always used this is to able to select news and right click all news items to read as new tabs and have all news items or messages to be grouped in the child window
this is now broken or do i need to recode something??

the user jay_ff shows how to do it using the Menu Editor Add-on
1. Install the Menu Editor add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/menu-editor/ .
2. After the installation, go to Firefox> add-ons (or simply use Ctrl+Shift+A)
3. Go to the Menu Editor "Options"
4. In the "Main context menu," simply grab the "Open link in New Tab" and place it below the "Open Link in New Window"
5. and Voila! You may also change other menu options if you want to!
I tried jay_ff method first and found that indeed changing the Main Context Menu did cause the hotlink context menu to change as well.

Unable to get the output when i run any jsf page in adf

I have created one jsf page to access the business components which i had created earlier after that when i drop the another panel splitter into the second facet of the initial panel splitter we created , I was unable to see in the workspace (.jpx) window.can you suggest me on this.
after done all the steps if I tried to run that page it starts the WLS servier and createda URL but the url is taking long time approx more that two hour and still not getting the required output only the loading window I can see.
Please suggest me on this.

Hi,
the panelSplitter should at least show in the Structure Window. So check if it is there. The runtime issue can be caused by the proxy settings. Go to Tools / Preferences --> Browser and Proxy and add localhost to the list of exclusion

How to get the initial state of JSF PAGE IN ORACLE ADF

my Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3
I'm building my JSF pages based on a template that has a navigation pane which contains command navigation items , every one of them (command navigation items) appears as a link at runtime and calls a JSF page , I wish to get the initial state for any page when leaving it then entering such page again , and I would like to know what is the suitable place to write the code to do this task.

Maintain the status of a Visual Web JSF page

Hello,
I have a JSF page in which I display several images.And when the user click on one image it will be viewed on her real size. So the user will be redirected to another page. Then, if he go back to the previous page will be displayed containing the associated images. But when he click on an image, the event of the click is not handled and the second page is not displayed.
I think that it is due to the life cycle of the page.But I don't know How to do.
How can I please maintain the state of the page listing the images in order to have the events still handled.

Here is the tag for the hidden field when the "hidden field" component is added from the pallette, I addded the "value" and "id". The name of the class is ReportStandard, which extends the AbstractPageBean.

After having downloaded I have been unable to open the files using right click or double clicking in the download windo

I am using Windows 7 along with Office 10. I have downloaded a number of zip files into Download location. Although the files are shown in the firefox download window they are not on my computer hard disk. Although I can access the Firefox download window and get the menu when I right click on a file and click on open nothing happens. The same outcome when I double click on the file in the window. The homepage is right justified with no access to the scroll tools on the right of the screen

The homepage for firefox is seemingly justified to the right of the screen, and there is no access to the scroll toll that is normally on the right side. Have tried changing the size of the screen, with no change. Can only use the up and down arrows to move arround the page. There also is no scroll tool at the bottom, the left and right arrows and ineffectual for movement side to side.

10g webgate not protecting the IIS application but protecting base IIS page on the same Default website

Hello Gurus,
I have an 10g webgate installed on the IIS server application that I am trying to protect using OAM 11g which is running on a separate server. There is OHS as well running on a separate server which I have set as a proxy to the OAM access server.
My problem is:
          Whenever I try to access the http://IIS-server-host/ url, the webgate intercepts the request and shows me the OAM SSO login page. Once I provide correct credentials, I can see the basic Windows IIS 7.5           welcome page.
          But whenever I try to access the protected application page http://IIS-server-host/abcd/** where abcd is the protected application, then the OAM SSO login page doesn't show up and the application directly           throws an error. When I see in Fiddler trace the webgate does intercepts the request but then since I have OHS server setup as a proxy to the OAM server, the request stops at the OHS server URL.           http://ohs-server:ohs-port/.
          The /abcd application is hosted on the "Default Web Site" iitself. I can see in the IIS manager that, there is a separate sub-branch just below default website /abcd.
What could cause this issue? and how should I resolve it? Please advise to the earliest as this is holding up my other activities!!

if request stops at OHS server url then issue must be at OHS level   ideally you should see two urls in Fiddler trace before login page is loaded one is /oam/server/obrareq.cgi and then /loginPage .. you see these URL in Fiddler trace ? anything you can gather from IIS / OHS / OAM Server logs ?
whats error application is throwing ? is it Webgate error (Oracle Access Manager Operation Error) ?

Data missing when I print preview and export to pdf but do see the data when i navigate to that page in the report

I have a report which consists of 9 subreports in 2 tables..
When the run report I do see data.
when i export to a pdf and print preview the report in Bids.. i see data for the first 22 pages and then the remaining pages are blank with just the header showing up...
when i go to the pdf and select page 25 it is blank but when i go the report and not in print preview mode.. and i type in 25 in the page number data shows up on that page...
the report is set to a portrait and the margins are set to 0.
How can I solve this problems and why is it happening... the size of the sub report are the same..
Any help will be appreciated.

I should add that when I e-mail this document to myself and print it directky from the iMac, it prints fine.

JDev 9.0.3.5 : How to get the value of an item on a page in the controller

In the processFormRequest part of my page controller, when the user clicks on Apply, I need to pass the value(s) entered by the user, to a PL/SQL stored procedure. The user enters a value for a field called "FirstName" on the page. I then need to pass this value to a stored proc. But the following code gives me a java.lang.ClassCastException on the 2nd line here. What am I doing wrong?

the mouse also gets 'stuck' in logic precipitating force quits.
i run osX 10.6.8 on a 2007 macbook pro that has had 2 motherboards replaced autumn 2010.
my troubleshooting has been: restart, pRam and safe boot, also checking a 'test' account to find the same issues extant.
pRam restart caused airport to quit and say there is no airport card, and wouldn't respond untill another reboot.
macbook pro 15" 2.4 GHz intel core duo.2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
i have treated this book with care, yet run logic pro studio to the limit of this book's abilities.
what shoud i do?

You don't say which year you have, however...
...there are known problems with the mid-2010 models (see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4088?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US) as well as early and late 15" 2011 models (see https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4766577?tstart=0).
Apple has taken ownership of the problems with the 2010 model but, unfortunately, the free logic board replacement for that model has probably long expired for you - three years after date of purchase.
One the 2011 models Apple has admitted no defect. You'll just have to skim the articles to get an overview of the problems that people are having (usually showing up as screen glitches at first and then going downhill from there).
