Moving to Australia from Canada
I am moving to Australia in February from Canada. I know I will need an adapter so I can plug it in but what about the transformer?? Some have told me I dont need and others say i do need it for my MacBook Pro.
all you'll need is a different power cable. the transformer is the brick part. get a new one, and you should be golden. i bought my first mac in switzerland and brought it back here. new cable, and i was good to go.

...Is there a fix?Help ma boab did you migrate over your applications and settings from your old computer? It does appear the installer was unable to create the Adobe Photoshop CS5 folder since your current User account did not have sufficient access to either modify they Applications or Adobe Photoshop CS5 folder if it already exists.
If you migrated/copied any files or applications from your old computer then I would recommend running the uninstaller from the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once you have uninstalled please run the CC Cleaner Tool prior to reinstalling Photoshop CS5. I recently moved to USA from Canada. I have not changed my apple id but I have changed my phone and computer. Is there a way to retrieve my purchased music via iTunes? I checked what was available to download and only got a few digital booklets.

Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer. -
Just moved from Canada to Switzerland. Can I just plug in my Desktop and get started?? I've travelled with my laptop before so know that it is that easy!! Just not 100% sure about my desktop!!
You can, but the power outlet type may differ. All Intel Macs have no trouble understanding current from 110 to 250V

I know some DVD players play all DVD formats from around the world, but I was curious if a UK Macbook would only play format 2 or format 1 as well.

Moving to UK from Canada with iMac?
We currently live in Canada and have an 1Mac with the Intel core 2 duo processor. We have to move to England in August. Is it possible to take the imac with us?... is it compatible with the UK and if so, what do we need? We really can't afford to buy a new one so I'm hoping we can just take it with us. Thanks for any suggestions/advice!
You can also avoid the adapter issue altogether and order a B922-7139 replacement AC power cord from any Apple dealer, including those in the United Kingdom.

I have a PC (bought in the UK) and an iPad (bought in Australia), but only buy songs from my PC.
It keeps directing me back to the UK store whenever I try to buy something - it is getting so frustrating! Any ideas or ways to fix this much appreciated.

I moved from Canada to Australia and don't want to blow my iMac up
So I moved from Canada to Australia and dont want to blow the thing up when I turn it on. I'm wondering if I need to get a whole new power cord (different voltages etc) or i can just use an adapter? I'm not really keen on using an adapter though..

Hi, I bought my iPhone in Canada but have moved to Australia. I need to speak with someone at Apple Canada what is the best way to do this? Is there is an e-mail address? When I call the Apple Canada number it says I can't call from my location.
In what way did you buy your iPhone? If you paid full price at the Apple Store then your phone should be provider unlocked and should work with practically any SIM card you choose to insert in it. If you bought it cheaper with a contract then it's provider locked then your best bet is to call your cellular provider in Canada. Be sure to note your IMEI number (Settings > General > About) as they're going to need it to do an unlock. Be aware they may or may not charge for this.

After moving from Canada to the US, getting a new iPhone 5C, and restoring my backup from iCloud, I can't update my apps. I get an error message that my account is not valid in the Canadian App store and I must change to the US store. How do I do that?

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use. -

Question: when I activate my new AUS iphone which option should I choose - new phone or restore from backup? I would like to have all my contacts, email, etc. however wasn't sure that option was appropriate since it is a different/new number and a new phone.

Moved to USA from Australia and I need help with my iTunes account.
Okay so I moved to USA from Australia and I changed my address and all that for the account but when I open iTunes it say that my account isn't valid for use in the United States. So I look into it and it says I need to have no credit left over to change my account from Aus to USA.
Okay so my question is how do I use 15 cents in the iTunes Store so I can change my iTunes so it works, does any one have any suggestions.You can contact iTunes Store support and ask them to remove it - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ that is, agree to forfeit it and they can remove it.
Or, buy something, and pay for the remainder of the balance with a credit card (if you still have one in Australia you can use?). -
