They probably just don't recognise the user agent string that Safari uses to identify itself to the website.

To get it to restore you use an application that is installed from the CD that comes with the iPod... can you find this and run it with the iPod connected. If it is able to see the iPod just go for a full restore that should get your iPod back to the beginning and you will have to add the music again. If the software tells you no iPod is connected and you know it is maybe you will have to contact Apple or an Apple Store, as for being helpful I have approached them several times with ailing mac problems both inside and out of warranty and have found them very helpful and keen to resolve issue. I imagine at xmas they face a fairly large influx of calls from a variety of people with differing technical abilities making it harder to resolve issues and taking it longer to get through.. just keep trying, I I also have large format HP printers which are under a support contract with HP and now there is support that is a joke... any time of the year

ITunes Library does not work after update 10.4

After updating 2 days ago to Lion,yesterday i must update Itunes to 10.4.
After updating Itunes 10.4 can not see my Itunes Library anymore on my Drobo(Ext HDD)
I've try everything but it don't work anymore.

Hi Michael, depending on which drobo you have, there are firmware updates you need to download from the drobo support site and install to your drobo, along with companion software on your new Lion system. You can probably do this from any mac that can see the drobo. Maybe even from Lion. For the first gen drobo (which I have) there's not yet a Lion firmware update.
Drobo (the company) says it's working on Time Machine, which for many people is failing to play nice with Drobo after the Lion upgrade. So you may have to wait a little longer for full Time Machine readiness.

IPod not working with new iTunes

As soon as I downloaded the newest version of iTunes, it stopped recognizing my iPod. iTunes says the iPod is synced with another library and it's not. I even erased everything off the iPod and synced it up again just to be sure, and when I plugged it in a second time, it gave me the same error message -- iPod is synced with another library. Please help!

Photoshop On-Line Help Not Working

CS6 appears to be working great but the online help menu has not been working for some time. When I select the "Help/Photoshop Online Help" menu it gives an "HTTP Status 404" error message.
"Help/Photoshop Support" also returns this error but the other menus work OK like "Help/Photoshop Online".

The online help has not yet been populated. You can expect it to be functional in the released version

IPad screen has gone blue/green and will not work

My iPad 1 screen has gone to black when it is turned on and willl not work. Screen stays blue/green for about 30 seconds and then turns off. Unit is charged fully and has been updated to current operating software. Gerry

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Upgraded to Firefox 4 and now the program I many alarm dealers use with Rapid Response Monitoring no longer works. RR Tech support said it had something to do with a change in Java not working with Firef 4

The program now has a disclaimer on the log-on page Does not work with FireFox 4. RR tech support said it had to do with Java functions that were not continued in FF4. I can log on but the program will no longer display customer history or anything that seems to have a data base behind the function tab.

Firefox 8 comes out November the 8th and it nor later versions show any reversal of this mess.

When you reinstall a different version, at the end of the install, don't let the install start Firefox for you, rather exit, and then start Firefox in the normal manner to avoid inadvertently creating and using a new profile without your bookmarks, etc.
What would be better would be to use multiple versions / profiles at the same time, which is certainly beyond average users, particularly when Mozilla has historically and purposely made such things difficult. Drill Down in Pie Chart not working in IE8 / Mozilla 5

Hi Experts,
In my dashboards, drill down feature in Pie charts are not working if the flash is viewed in IE8 / Mozilla Firefox 5.
In IE7 it is working. Is there any browser settings required for this ? Pls suggest.
Drill down in column chart is working fine.

You may want to download Xcelsius 2008 with SP4.
SP4 will support the newer IE 8 (32 bits) for Xcelsius related issue.
As for FireFox 5 that came out last week, this won't be supported anytime soon.

How to fill out the clipboard under "about:support" when enter button does not work in address bar? Thearrow button does not work either?

My enter btton does not work in the address bar or search engine. I have done the restart in safe mode...deleted and reinstalled firefox...done the malware/adware checks...still no improvement.
I was asked to do the "about:support" then click enter for the clipboard to paste the system notes into. That is not an option however because the orginal problem is the enter button not working. Ideas?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

I installed ask tool bar now mozilla not working correctly

I install Java and it came with Ask.com It installed on Mozilla and now when I open Mozilla it will open and then it will say not responding. Then it will crash (the mozilla page will close) When I try to open my mozilla again it will not open. I have restart my computer and the same thing happens.
