Mozilla AddOn Flash Video Downloader
Mozilla AddOn Flash Video Downloader version 7.1.0 up to version 7.2.3 with Windows 7 :
I have requested for support from Flash Video Downloader support-team for installed addon Flash Video Downloader,
but this problem issue could not be solved.
While I have opened several firefox windows, with the new versions of Flash Video Downloader, the firefox windows are
reopened in accidental order after restarting firefox, but not in original order as before. If I had deinstalled Flash Video
Downloader addon, all windows of firefox were opened again in original order. And if I had reinstalled mozilla addon
Flash Video Downloader again, then after restarting firefox, all windows were opened again in accidental order, but not
in original order.
Because of opening tabs automatically from Flash Video Downloader website after deinstalling this addon, I want to ask
mozilla support, if I could trust this addon, and why this addon influences mozilla firefox while opening several firefox
windows in accidental order, but not in original order.
After deinstalling Flash Video Downloader addon in all opened firefox windows, a new tab from Flash Video Downloader
website was opened for feedback response. One feedback tab in one window should be enough as before.

If it was installed from the addons.mozilla.org it can be trusted, however if there are issues I would report it.

Welcome to Flash Video Downloader why?
I get this download automatically when I star Firefox: Filezilla_3.10.2_win32-setup.exe and brings me tot the site "Welcome to Flash Video Downloader for Firefox " for FVD ConverterWelcome to Flash Video Downloader". I get the standard Firefox web page but also get a second web page advertisement for Flash Video Downloader. I use Flash Video Downloader already and my data use is limited monthly so I don't want this page coming up every time I get on the web browser. I've asked the Flash Video folks but they have no suggested solutions. It is not shown in options for home page and I can't find where it is being loaded from.

I cannot download videos with flash video downloader from other websites also.Whenever I want to download video it says choose file.
I don't know that any Flash downloader extensions work in Firefox for Android. You would be best off asking for support from the extension authors at https://fvdmedia.userecho.com/list/21650-firefox-extensions/?category=4944

when the new fire fox change kicked in I lost some of my add on apps such as ani weather, ant video down loader, and flash & video down loader, how do I get them back? I tried reinstalling them but they don't show up in the tool bar.

I'm assuming all of your extensions were on the Add-on Bar. The Add-on Bar has been removed in Firefox 29<sub>[1]</sub> but you can get it back easily using an extension<sub>[2]</sub>

I installed FVD Suite because it sounded like it was a good all in one video downloader. WHen installing it asked me if I wanted to switch my search engine to theirs and I selected no. However, once installed it tried on several occasions to hijack my search engine. Luckily I have a search engine protection "BrowserProtect" which blocks any attempt to make changes to my browser settings. After about 2 or 3 days I finally got tired of the hijack attempts and tried to uninstall FVD Suite. At that time I found out that it was also running in several other places on my computer other than just in Firefox. Not sure why or what it was doing, not that skilled, but didn't like the fact that it was in other places and also don't like having my browser constantly under attack from a plug-in.
I just downloaded this yesterday, and I want it removed. I'm having trouble with step #3. I can't find "delete whole line which contain string "flashvideodownloader.org/result.php".

Video downloaders for android dont work for youtube as this is aganist google's app policy.

By the way, Ghostery and LSO manager are not security solutions. I leaned that I can download flash video clips using only firefox browser without using 3 rd party
software,so when a video starts playing I select tools- page info -media, then I should select the video

I could never get the add on from FF to work for me.
I've never used it but I heard you can use Perian to download YouTube videos.
I use TubeSock which use to have a fully functional demo.
Now I just found out that TubeSock will convert only the first 30 seconds of a video until you pay for it. -
Problem with Flash video/dropdowns in Mozilla
Am trying to add a flash video to a webpage using a
Dreamweaver extension called Active Slideshow Pro by DMXZone.
The page can be viewed: www.faith.org.uk/Testindex.html
In IE7 it works fine. The video shows and the dropdowns of
the menu work correctly.
In Mozilla Firefox the video works but the dropdowns do not
show.
If I remove the block of coding which is generated by the

The page works in both browsers and the menu dropdowns appear
correctly.
I would be most grateful for anyone's advice on this.A discussion with Adobe support lends the idea that MPEG
layer 4 might be an issue. That since these videos come from DVD
perhaps encoded with MPEG layer 4 that that could be the reason tha
all of them have this problem. (Some were done using AVI - I have
to check and see if that makes a difference)

Flash should be able to convert an MPEG4 file. (Well it does
but they all stop after 30 sec.) Now how do I solve this problem?

Why the flash player don't work after installing the video downloader add-on?
I've installed and uninstall the Firefox mobile app several times to try and fix this issue. Every time I add the video downloader add-on the flash player won't let me tap to play videos anymore. I've tried to completely enable the flash but still didn't work. I've used this add on for a few months and it worked fine up until the last Firefox update. Without the add-on the flash player works fine but after I've added the video downloader add-on I would have to uninstall and reinstall the mobile spot to get the flash to work again. I really love to use this add-on that's the advantage that Firefox mobile app has over other web browser. Please tell me how I can fix this issue. THANKS

About your problem , have you tried to clear your privacy/browsing data? And see if flash works?
And you can try to disable the add-on, if you don't want to use it . and enable it again if you want to download a video .

When I try to watch any video clip I get this:

I tried clicking on the Adobe Flash Player. It said it accepted it but it did not make a difference.

Is there a way to view Flash videos on my iMac without downloading Adobe Flash Player? I'm concerned about performance and security with Adobe Flash Player.
If the video is only available in a format that requires Flash player : then no.
However, a great many can also be viewed in an HTML5 version, in which case http://hoyois.github.io/safariextensions/clicktoplugin/ or similar can be set up so that Flash never runs unless you specifically choose it to.
