Mozilla Extension blocked

Hi,
Anyone had similar issue installing Mozilla extension over S360? Access policy allow all sort of object (non of the Block Object type box is checked). When I look at http header, it shows:
Content-Type: application/x-xpinstall
which should match Mozilla/Firefox Extension but instead policy trace show it is blocked due to custom MIME type settings (using url below):

Sorry to ask another question, how do we create a new custom MIME-Type?
Under Objects -> Executable Code, I could only see
a) ActiveX Plugin
b) Windows Executable
c) Java Program
d) Unix Executable
e) Mozilla/Firefox Extension
The file I am trying to download is http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/application/releases/v2_7_2_1825_win.exe which is blocked as "application/x-dosexec". How can I create another custom Executable Code to I can allow this file to download?

Oh, another question. Why would Ironport label MIME-Type as application/x-dosexec while my Mozilla HTTP Header detect it as Content-Type: application/octet-stream.

Additional information as follows I have downloaded ADOBE it is on my system,but in trying to open it up the panel shows info stating that MOZILLA IS BLOCKING THE OPENING UP. I am at a loss as to what to do .

I'm not certain what's going on here, so the following is a guess.
Fix what? Mail? Crashing? Due to a bad or corrupt mail message in a mail folder?
If rebuilding the mailbox doesn't resolve the error and if upgrading to OS X 10.8.2 doesn't resolve this case, then the usual option is the one that that you apparently don't want; message deletion.
If you really need that message, then some rummaging underneath Mail.app and into the mail files to extract the corrupt message as a MIME-encoded text file, and then view or process the message manually (and success is not a certainty), and then delete the copy of the message from within mail.

I guess you believe the "Less Secure App" rubbish that gmail is putting out.
Gmail has an option to allow these "less secure app" into their secure world.
I also hear that the gmail world is flat. :)

Since 30 October 2012, Mozilla has blocked users from running YouTube on Firefox 3.6.28 running on Mac OS X 10.5.8

The last Flash player plug-in that can run on G4 ppc computers is 10.1.102.64. On Oct 30 2012 Mozilla blocked _all_ versions of Flash below version 10.3.183.19 from running on _all_ versions of Firefox. Can this block not be lifted from ppc versions of Firefox (below 3.6.28)?

Shuts down when entering Yahoo Groups --npYState.dll is only located in Mozilla's block list in 2 locations? Obvioiusly they either are not blocked or there is another problem?? Please advise

When opening Yahoo Groups Firefox immediately shuts down. NSBrowserOpt.dll is not in the component file........

I think this problem may be caused by Yahoo's changes making it incompatible with the klatest version of FireFox.
This is suddenly affecting many many people who use Firefox and are members of Yahoo Groups. All these people say they themselves changed nothing and have not been locked out before when using Firefox. But suddenly, within the last week, they are.
What did Mozilla do or what did Yahoo do to cause this problem? I can say that I was not blocking cookies and after trying a number of things to fix it, I went to Yahoo's home page and navigated to my group from here.
This problem is not anything a user did. Either Firefox is at fault or Yahoo is. I want to know which company is at fault and when they are going to fix it.

Mozilla keeps blocking the Dragon Naturally Speaking addin

I am running a dictation program entitled Dragon Naturally Speaking version 13. I keep getting an error message when I use Mozilla saying that the add in is being blocked and asking whether I would like to allow the add in. I have repeatedly selected Allow and Remember only to have the error message pop up again.
Any information or assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

IDM CC 6.7 Extension blocked after upgrading to FireFox 3.6.6

Well everything was going fine till i upgraded to ver 3.6.6.
After running two-three times,it says Firefox blocked IDM CC for your protection.
And i really want that add on enabled as i use IDM as my download manager. Please hel me.

Gmail, Mozilla etc. blocked!

After updating another program I can't now access some websites including Google and Mozilla!
For Google and Mozilla it allowed be to select:-
'I understand the risks' ad continue.
But for Gmail it showed no option to continue!
As all was working before the program update I don't know why it has changed.
But I do not know how to get Gmail now!

Are you using Kaspersky Internet Security? I had to clear KIS scanning of encrypted connections.
Navigation:
Open KIS
Settings
Additional
Network Settings
Clear/uncheck "Scan encrypted connections"

Certain extensions blocked

The users regularly need to browse sites in the .uk Also they email to the .uk extension.
I cannot figure out how to permanently allow such access and email usage.
I have added .uk to allow list but at first it worked and now it does not.
We are using Exchange 2010

The allow list is through IIS. I add .uk to allowed list and change to true.
Getting Mail delayed then never sent. Senders are rejected. .uk websites simply will not load.
When I first added to allow it worked. Since, something changed.

Ok, the websites thing is not an Exchange issue, so you will need to ask that in another forum.
What do you mean senders are rejected? What exactly happens? There is no allowed list in IIS for Exchange.

My Mozilla Firefox blocks when I open facebook and becomes not responding, what is problem?

After some time I can click on continue script or stop script, but whatever I click that box shows me again.
And when I again start Firefox, I have option back last session but in list of tabs doesn't exist facebook.

Block an extension from another extension

Hi i am new to mac os development in general.But i got some exposure to javascript and html.
My requirement is this, say if there is an extension in safari already running and user now installs my extension. Can my extension block the execuion of the the other extension running?
Or first of all is it possible to get the list of all extensions running?
Lets make it more specific to Mac, m not interested in any other platform now.

How do I block all sites except a few?

We want clients to only have internet access to five websites. Is there a way to do this?

The easiest way to block websites in Mozilla Firefox is by using a third-party add-on called [http://goo.gl/QePcl Web Filter]. User is getting pop-up message for JRE6 installation with browser IE8, 9, and 10 and also with Mozilla Firefox 22, but it’s failing with latest version of Mozilla Firefox23,24 and 25.
I have gone through so many sites but could find any reason for this behavior.
I have provided JRE6 32-bit version download URL, here I don’t think so I’m doing any version incompatibility because both the JRE6 and Mozilla Firefox are 32-bit version. And 64 bit Firefox version is not available for windows.
I’m not sure why the code is working with Firefox 22 and its lower version but
doesn’t work with higher version than firefox22….like 23,24,25
Can anyone help to sort out this issue?

Sorry for the delay in getting an answer, yesterday was a holiday in the USA.

My rough guess is that since Mozilla has blocked all but the most recent update for Java 7 Plugins - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/ - and Firefox 23 brought in a new '''Simplified interface for notifications of plugin installation''' - http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/23.0/releasenotes/ - that is probably why you're having a problem with versions of Firefox after Firefox 22.
Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox. <br />
