Mozilla product syncs

How can I sync Mozilla Thunderbird, Firefox, Lightening and Sunbird on XP home with Tungsten E2?

Same problem over here as well, FF 7 is ok but FF8 / FF9 and Thunderbird 8 / 9 crash on startup.
They both work if I start them in safe mode with everything enabled.

  • Any Mozilla product I install crashes at startup. The first window I see when I open a Mozilla product is the crash reporter. I have tried every possible solution but cannot open anything. It started with firefox. Can anyone please help?

    Hi there, as the question says, I cannot open any Mozilla product. I have tried to install firefox 3.6, older versions of Firefox, Firefox 4.0, Sea Monkey, Thunder Bird and Sun Bird. I have the same problem everytime. I open any of these programs and the first and the only window that appears is the crash reporter. I've tried opening it in Safe Mode and the same occurs. I have tried entirely uninstalling the products incuding the registry keys but no help. I shall post the detailed error reports, if they help solving this issue. Can you kindly look into this and find a solution as I use all of these Mozilla products and my life has been a hell since they've ben down.

    You could also try jumping in on some of the Mozilla IRC chat channels as was suggested to someone else in another thread.
    Also you could also try the [/forums/buddies new contributors forum], it does now have an Admin monitoring and replying. (At the time of the quoted post Admins were almost impossible to get hold of for forum matters )

  • As is likely true for countless other long term Mozilla supporters - I've replaced all of my Mozilla products in retaliation for Brenden Eich's forced outing.

    On the off chance that someone who cares actually reads this, I 'll simply comment that I have pushed non-Mozilla products aside for many years in favor of Mozilla and what I believed to be an honest pursuit of individual freedom. Your CEO resignation exposes that to be tenuous at best.
    As you certainly must realize, you've really stepped in it now and the damage is really only starting.
    The rub isn't whether or not me or millions like me agree or disagree with Brenden Eich's position on traditional marriage, but the utter intolerance demonstrated through these actions in the very name of freedom and tolerance.
    How unfortunate. I suspect this may be the final nail on the Mozilla coffin. Time will tell.

  • Acrobat Pdf viewer Plugin Doesn't work Mozilla Products

    Mountain Lion (OSX.8.2)
    500 GB Hard Drive rought 200 GB left empty
    Intel i7 2.8 GHZ Processor
    8 GB System RAM.
    In Acrobat and Reader XI (and X as well) the PDF viewer Plugin does not work. In fact it doesn't does not even show up in the Addons > Plugins.
    There are three, only one appears:
    The Adobe PDFViewerNPAPI.plugin only shows up.
    When I try to open a PDF  in any Browser that use Mozilla's Gecko engine. Just see a Bright white Screen.
    I don't use Chrome or Safari on Principle. But have tested  and works fine.
    Other Browsers that use webkit works just fine.
    Since posting this to Plugins which no one has even read. (group appears non functioning) I decided to post here.
    Just to make make sure another Plugin is not interfering I removed all my Plugins and just installed the the three Plugins above. Same issue. According to addons > Plugins
    only the NPAPI plugin exist.
    I've posted a Bug report once again Like I have been doing on this problem since the switch from OSX.1 on Up for acrobat/Reader every new version that comes out.
    Maybe someone that knows what the problem is can let me know what to fix.

    Where are they advertising it? Perhaps there's more up to date information but I look in

  • I seem to be having a problem with all mozilla products crashing i.e Thunderbird, Seamonkey,and Firefox what is the issue, and how do I fix it?

    I have updated all products, uninstalled and reinstalled ,ran virus scans, changed the compatibility its running on (from windows 7 to XP), disabled all plugins, and I am still encountering the same issue of all my mozilla installs crashing repeatedly. No pattern with the crashes its doing it randomly but frequently.

    Hi,Using SWI Product Import bs and corresponding IOs to insert/update products through web service. I have added additional buscomp(Product Eligibility) to IOs.Web service takes data but it neither throws error nor insert/update records in Product eligibility bc. Please through some light if you implemented similar requirement. Any suggestion or info you can offer is greatly appreciated.

    Go to [https://metalink3.oracle.com] search for the Document ID 478293.1 (Required Installation Steps for Siebel Sync [ID 478293.1])
    This document will guide what you need to do manually such as unregister and registering dll files.
    There are a couple of changes to som of the .cfg files as well.
    Try this and see.

    I have some groups of tabs. Can I sync these groups to my new PC?
    When synchronization is complete, nothing changes and the group is not synchronized!

    You can sync tabs, but I am not sure about groups.
    There is a bug: [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1011357] that could use some more information on this.

  • Just uninstalled all Mozilla products in support of free speech

    I wonder how many other people Mozilla will fire for having views that some don't agree with.
    I'll also add that the latest iterations of Firefox have been slow, buggy and not worth fighting any more. I will miss Thunderbird though. Oh well.

    my brother has his ipod touch sync to my mum's laptop, she has recently got an iphone and wants my brother ipod off her computer. How do i remove the ipod touch so it can be snyc to another laptop?

    Just connect the iPod to the other computer. It'll say that the iPod has been synched to another iTunes library. Just make sure that all the content your brother wants to have on the iPod are in iTunes on that new computer. See this support article:

  • Mozilla products not working after update

    Hello,
    after update (about 4 weeks ago) irefox and Thunderbird didn't want to start. I tried reinstalling but it didn't help. When I run it, there is no error in the console and the processes have started, but no windows appears. I'm on 64bit Arch. Anybody knows how to solve this?

    delete your .mozilla profile and then try again. Note that this will lose all your settings etc in Firefox and Thunderbird though

    Used migration assistant to set up new Macbook pro from old macbook pro. Many "profile" problems.
    Will not even open "System Preferences" for user whose profile info was transferred. (Will for "Administrator")
    Cannot use Firefox or Thunderbird, profile missing.
    Help???                                            

    Launch the Console application by entering the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search, and look under "User Diagnostic Reports" for crash logs related to the application(s). Select the most recent one and post the contents -- the text, please, not a screenshot. For privacy’s sake, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report.

    Need help locating my firefox account info and my sync key.

    There is no Mozilla products on the Apple app store. Apps out there related with Firefox are not Mozilla products. The sync key is no longer used as Firefox now uses Firefox Accounts. Please contact the app developers for support since we are unable to provide type others further support to your issue.

  • Why won't Firefox Sync add data to a new profile?

    I have been following the advice on [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/new?product=sync this] article. It has told me to make a new profile and set up my Sync account on that profile.
    I have done all of this, and I have followed all of the steps correctly. However, the new profile will not download all of my data from the server. Why is this?
    I am using the latest nightly of Firefox 4 (2011-01-08).

    I was on the Google page, and put in the item I was searching for, clicked search and got a page or many pages of potential sites that would fit my query. But if I clicked on one of the sites, I couldn't click back to the Google page, the back arrow was gray. It doesn't happen all the time, only occasionally. Guess it's just a problem with some sites.
