Mozilla themes not loading background images

Hi, I was using a theme with pictures of weed; I liked it but was not appropriate for everyone to see. I wanted to change it for some other of the themes I already had installed (some of them animated), so I opened the themes tab, and every time I select 'enable', the background color of the toolbars changed, but it would not load the pictures (it only changed the color).
I tried every theme installed, all with the same result, so I am sure is not because of the themes themselves, I even tried with the very same theme it had before attempting to change it (the one with the weed), and this time it also changed the color of the toolbars without loading the pictures. Now I have a browser with hard to see colors but no background picture in the toolbars or anything
I tried loading in safe mode (though I don't see what its got to do with it), with the same results.
any pointers?
tnx

Hi, tnx for your answer. I am not sure if this is the case.. I believe if it was something to do with version compatibility, the current theme would have stopped working suddenly. As I mentioned above, there was a theme and had no problem till that moment, then I tried to change it, then not even the theme that was currently working would work, at the moment of changing it. Also, if the theme was not compatible, I believe it would give a message or something, instead of 'working partially' (change colors but not load graphics)

  • Cinnamon background changer will not load background images

    Hello,
Since about yesterday (when I did a pacman -Syu), the cinnamon background changer refuses to load any images to change the background to. When I run cinnamon-settings from a terminal and select backgrounds, the following occurs:

So I'm assuming it's somehow not properly loading the images. I can't add any images manually either, since once I do it gives this error for that image as well.
I can provide a list of the packages updated. Cinnamon was not one of them and downgrading Cinnamon did not help.
    Thanks in advance!

  • 7965 Not Loading Background images

I am trying to load a 7965 with a new background image.
Running CME 9.1 and the phone registers with no issues.
My png files are loaced in flash:/Desktops/320x216x16 with the following List.xml file.
    CiscoIPPhoneImageList>
    <ImageItem Image="TFTP:/Desktops/320x216x16/TN-map2.png" URL="TFTP:/Desktops/320x216x16/map2.png"/>
    </CiscoIPPhoneImageList>
When I go into the phone and select User Preferences/Background Images,  debug shows that the phone TFTPs the List.xml file but is all stops there.
Not sure what is going on but I can get to the files from web access and TFTP.
    Any ideas?

    Stand Corrected...
It is a 7975G.  Have fixed the problem yet not sure why....
It was definitely in the List.xml file although I can't see what has changed.
I wound up downloading a List.xml file from another system and modifying it and it works...
A little frustrating but perhaps there were some hidden characters that I did not see.

  • Firefox wont load background image on some sites but internet explore will load the background

i downloaded firefox awhile ago worked perfectly fine then all a sudden it wont load facebook background images the homepage of facebook loads background image but when i log in it wont load background image but when i try internet explorer it loads the background images fine i checked every setting redownloaded everyhing nothing fix's it tho

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains (e,g, sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net).
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.images pref should be 1.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

  • Will not load any image

Worst program I have purchased in 15 years, it will not load any image from any place from any
folder and I have spent six,yes SIX Hours reading downloading browsing and still no pictures
import, open,or recognised, TIFF files, the industry standard.Windows 7 Slop, and all it's junk brand
new, and now this, begging on the internet to get a photo opened, just opened, god only knows if
I will even be able to edit it.

Well, guess what, I am totally new to Adobe , but I have spent those six hours and I still can not get the pictures to import in the library
menue or the develop menue, no matter how many buttons I push, or what image file I try. I even tried opening a new catalog, then when
that did not work, a new folder in the folder section, and all I wanted to do was open an image to clean it up a tad, I can't give any more info
than that, because I can't even open any image file. Thanks, and now I realise this is a discussion forum and I wanted customer support, but thanks anyway.

  • Swf does not load the images on the web

I made a swf that works perfectly on my computer.
The swf does not load the images, cal with the buttons, when I use the swf on the web.
I think the problem is due to the fact that the web changes the path of the file, that is called with the following variable:
    var ImmageUrl: String = "MyFolder2 /" +  MynamePic +  ".jpg";
The path is C:/MyFolder1 "(with the swf)" /MyFolder2 "(with the pics)"
    Any hint ?
    Thank you.

When you place an swf in a web page, any files that the swf loads have to be targeted as if the swf is sitting in the same folder as the html page.  If you have the swf in a different folder than the html page, then you need to adjust the paths for the files it loads so that it acts as if it is in the html page's folder.

  • Transported Theme not loading image

    Hello Expers,
I have created a custom theme as per the thread How to setup your company logo in SAP Fiori launchpad
It's working fine in the development environment But, after transporting the theme to QA environment
using /ui5/theme_tool/ transport option the logo is not loading
    Kindly help
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Dear all,
    Solution provided by SAP
Theses clients will be generated in the url at the time a theme is
created depending on the system the theme is created on.
In order to solve the issue you need to trigger a rebuild of your
theme in the target system with the different client.
In UI theme designer versions later than 1.4.0 there are two options
    to do this:
    1) Open the themedesigner, select your custom theme in the theme-list
and then click the "Rebuild" button above the theme-list.
    2) Open the themedesigner and open your custom theme. After loading a
theme and a random preview application, select the "Save&Build" menu
entry in the theme-menu. (There is no need to change any parameters)
In UI theme designer versions prior to 1.4.0 there is only the second
    of the options described above:
    2) Open the themedesigner and open your custom theme. After loading a
theme and a random preview application, select the "Publish" menu
entry in the theme-menu. (There is no need to change any parameters)
The rebuild should create new image paths including the client token
    of your system.
    Regards,
    Vijay

  • Can a script be written to take the next 2 files in a folder and place them on a background image..then saving with the first images filename..?

Hello all, I hope you can help.
In Photoshop I have a problem to overcome and have delved into the world of scripting..
If there is a quick way to produce the following could someone help me with some pointers?
    Here is my situation..
I need to produce a photograph proof card, these are for a double image option so cause me a headache compared to just creating an action..
This proof card really is just a set of two different photographs placed onto a background image.
I would produce two different images of the same person and name them exactly the same except they are suffixed with an A or B to keep them together, these would be in a folder with approx 500 other images for example (250 x two of each person)
My preference for the process would be done in the following sequence:
1/ Open the background file jpg (which is sized at 2400 x 1800 pixels @ 300dpi)
2/ Load the first image from the batch file and place this.
3/ Get the filename of the first image and create it as a text layer and write it below the image at 10 point text size.
4/ Create another copy of this layer and change the font to 3of9barcode font, however the font needs an asterisk before the text then again after it. e.g. *filenameA*
Only the first image has the need for a barcode as they are for the same person. This is at 18 point.
5/ Load the next sequential image from the batch file and place this.
6/ Get the filename for the second image and as Item 3/ create a text layer below at 10 point text size.
7/ Place a png overlay with my copyright information over the images (I need to do this twice, once for each image)
8/ Flatten the images and save the file in a new folder with the same filename as the first image.
I can do this in Lightroom with the exception of putting the barcoded text, and the filenaming, this is because the background image is used as the identity plate and the filename is not based on the data from either photograph..
Can anyone shed some light on where to go from here?
    Kind regards
    Bryan

Photoshop Scripting-wise this seems fairly "easy".
But I would recommend creating a template file (that already combines background image, png overlay and the Type Layers).
Maybe data driven graphics would also be an option …

Any idea on how to fix?

    Hello,
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.

  • Safari 7.0 does not loading big image.

Hi. I have Mac book pro (13-inch Early 2013).
I'm Korean. and my english level is very terrible.
but, My MacBook has some problem.
My Mac installed OSX10.9. and safari ver is 7.0.
If loading big image, safari is show black box.
But other brower is show image.
thanks for reading, my broken text.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot insafe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models.  The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • Facebook/Twitter DO NOT LOAD TEXT/IMAGES correctly in Windows 8 in ANY version of Firefox

The title sums it up nicely. I bought a new laptop 2 days ago and Facebook and Twitter do not load correctly in Firefox (ANY AND ALL VERSIONS - I have been installing/uninstalling/reinstalling nonstop like a maniac). They load in every other browser just fine.
Basically what happened is I installed Firefox on the new laptop (first thing I did), loaded Facebook and Twitter for the first time, and once I closed those pages and re-opened them, they started to appear with the text flush to the left and without some images. Almost looks like a part of the CSS code is missing.
I have tried ALL of the solutions posted on these support forums. None of them are permanent
Clearing my cookies/cache IS NOT an adequate solution. It works for the first time and then I have to do it every time I close and re-open FB/Twitter. Since the entire Windows 8 O/S concept is based on the "social experience," this seems somewhat ironic. Either it's a problem with my new laptop but I doubt it, as I said before, every other browser and webpage work fine.
My conclusion is there's a problem between Firefox/Windows 8/Facebook and Twitter. If someone could just confirm or shed some insight to development problems or suggest permanent fixes, that would be greatly appreciated and save me a lot of headache. As it stands, I'm about to throw this laptop out the window. >_> I'm very much not impressed with the hassle this transition has been.
Google Chrome has always been a close second to Firefox in my eyes and it looks like I'll have to switch over, despite the fact the former does not have a customizable bookmark toolbar.
    Thanks in advance.
I have NORTON INTERNET SECURITY if anyone can suggest any settings change.

    Hey Firefaux,
I changed a setting in Firefox and it seemed to have solved my problems. Since CTRL+F5 seemed to work as a quick fix, that told me it was something to do with the cache.
My browsers on my old laptop had never had their cached cleared (I have a problem deleting things :P).
Go to Tools --> Options --> Network and under Cached Web Content, your cache may be set to 350mb just like mine was in my new Firefox. I had a moment of clarity and thought, "maybe since my computer is so new, I haven't browsed enough to fill my cache with information from various different sites, as opposed to just Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube."
So I ticked the box "override automatic cache management" and set it to 0mb.
Ever since then, I've had no problems with browsing (in Firefox, haven't attempted anything else since the problem was fixed immediately).
I know nothing about caches and whatnot, but with the limit set to 0, I believe this is forcing the browser to reload a new page from scratch EVERY time since I have not allowed *anything* to be saved to memory.
Hope this helps, please let us know if it works for you as well. I know I was experiencing massive buyer's remorse for days because of this problem.

                       MainPanel.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);

                       MainPanel.setVisible(true);
                       MainPanel.setTitle("Math's Mayhem");
}I've tried numerous ways to try and load an image but to no avail! Do i need to use layered panes or is there a more simple way?

Also meanwhile you can visit the link [Setting Background Image on JFrame|http://javaallinone.blogspot.com/2008/03/setting-background-image-on-jframe.html]
The code presented in the link above (probably) works, but should NOT be copied verbatim! It has several problems:
    1. That code loads and creates the image each time the JPanel's paintComponent() method is called, which is terribly inefficient. It should be modified so that the image is loaded once (when the JFrame or JPanel is first created) and cached. paintComponent() should then simply call g.drawImage().
    2. You should also create the Image via ImageIO.read() rather than new ImageIcon(...).getImage() as done in that example, to avoid unnecessarily creating an ImageIcon. It's not a huge deal, but your code will be cleaner and more readable.
    3. I'm not sure why this example wants to do things such as setting the preferred/minimum/maximum sizes and layout used in the paintComponent() body.

  • Intermittent issue : Portal theme not loaded for WDA, BSP iViews

    Hello,
We are facing intermittent issue in Portals where theme is  not loaded for WD ABAP & BSP iViews.
As theme isn't loaded, the layout of these iViews is distorted, it renders in plain HTML format.
And this is random behaviour and often not reproducible.
During one such occurrence, we could manage to capture "ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET" error when theme URL (a CSS file) is called.
Attached is the screenshot from HttpWatch.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amey Mogare
