MP 530 printer - the in use/ memory is blinking

I have lost my manuel and don't know what to do with the blinking in use/memory light.  It is like it is frozen and won't print from my computer   What do I do?

Hello hrjohnson.
The In Use/Memory light may come on in a few different situations.
First, check to make sure that the phone cords are connected properly.  The phone cord that is coming from the phone line on your wall should be connected to the 'L' jack of the printer rather than the 'Phone' jack.  Also, the cord from the 'Phone' jack would go to a standard telephone or answering machine.
If the phone cords are connected properly, it may be possible that one of the phones in the home or building are off the hook or in use.
This may also occur if a fax is stored in memory.  You can print any faxes from the memory from the Menu.
In rare cases, this may occur if a USB cable happens to be connected into one of the phone jacks on the printer rather than the USB port as well.

  • Printing the form using output type and Standard program

    Hi all,
       I am a beginner on SAP.Now i get a doc for smartforms.
It need to print a form. And need to create a output.I don't know how to create it and how to use it.
And how to use the standard program to print the smartfroms.
Can you give me a thought about that??

    Hi steven,
first u copy the standard form and modify as u required.
    copy the print program.
after that assign modify form to modified print program using NACE transaction code.
NACE->slect application->go with output types->select suitable one->go with processing routines->select medium->provide modified program  name and form name->save the details.
    go for view->go for transport.
go with the appropriate transaction suitable to your application.
and provide one existing record->issue out put->go with print
i think it will useful for you.
    Reward points if useful.
    Thanks,

  • Printing the grid used in creating a PSE 10 drawing

    Hello,
I have created a scaled floor plan dwng using the grid in PSE 10. It would be very useful to me to be able to print the grid directly with my drawing - preferably as a semi-opaque 'background'.
    Can this be done?
    Thanks,
    Dan

    1. Add a blank layer and fill with white.
    2. Activate the grid on the white layer.
    3. Take a screenshot of the grid and place it in a new layer. Use the Move tool to resize this layer so that the grid matches the original.
    4. Delete or turn off the visibility of the white layer.
    5. Change the Blend mode of the grid layer to Multiply.
Note: you can use the PrtSct key for the screenshot but there are utilities where you can draw out the precise region.  I use Winsnap:  http://www.ntwind.com/

  • Printing the dashbord using Print Button

    Hi all
I have a Print button (supplied in Xcelsius) to print the dashboard current page. When I print the dashboard, I see there is two scoll bars at edge of the page. one down and the other right side. It means the page is bigger than it would be. However I don't have this issue on the screen, and also for another printer, it looks perfectly fit. As we can not control on the printers which clients use to print the dashboard, I need to know what I can do on my side to prevent having scroll bars on the printed page.
    Thanks in advance.

There problem in fact was in printer's seting up. The printer was working but the correct driver has not been run for its set up. After installing it again using the proper driver, the issues in the printing resolved.
    Thanks for your contributions.

  • How to Restrict printing the document using IRM for a Single Document?Allow printing for some documents and restrict the printing for particular documents in same document library?

Can we able to Configure the IRM in Document Level in SharePoint Document libraries?
The document library contains multiple document sets , Can we restrict the printing according to document sets? Allow printing for some documents and restrict the printing for particular documents in same document library
     Is this possible?Please suggest.

Yes, that can be done. But note that all administrators will have the same right to print, so you need to make sure the users are not administrators. You can include a macro to disable printing, but if the users disable macro, they can print the documents.
Hence, there is no foolproof way to prevent printing documents. If you still need a foolproof security, PDF format provides password based security (viewing doesn't require a password) that can be implemented to prevent the document from printing,
which doesn't require any special scripts and is tough.

  • Problem in mail api to print the received date of an email

Do anyone know how to get received date of an email?I am using POP3 server. So while printing the date using getReceivedDate(), getting null pointer exception....So how to get the date?...Anyone know this using headers or something?I want a sample program in mail api of java....
    Thanks in advance...

There is no logic inside the getReceivedDate() method. It's a pre-defined method i have used.I read somewhere that POP3 server won't give information about date.So it is returning NPE.And there it was suggested to use Received headers or something to get the date of a particular email.I am new to the mail api.So anyone know how to use those Received Headers to read the date of an email?

    Ram,
I have had printing problems too a year and a half ago. I used all printing apis of java and I still find that it is something java lacks. Now basically you can try autosense. To check whether your printer is capable of printing the docflavor use this PrintServiceLookup.lookupPrintServices(flavor, aset); . If it lists the printer then he can print the document otherwise he can't. I guess that is why you get the error.

  • Issue while printing the BSP page haveing radio buttons.

    Hi Experts,
I have a BSP page which has radio buttons. When i try to print the page using browser print, the radio buttons are not getting printed.
Could someone help me regarding this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Karthik MD

when you use radiobutton in BSP (<htmlb:radioButton) they are rendered as images. so to get it printed , in your browser (IE) go to tools->internet options->advanced->printing and check the check box against "print background colors and images".
now try printing it should be fine.

  • How to check actual allocated and used memory for java process in solaris?

    Hi,
I'm testing performance for java application on solaris 10. And I would like to know how to measure actual memory allocated and used for java process.
I'm setting -Xms512m -Xmx512m for my java process and I use prstat command to monitor it's memory. But I found that when I run prstat to check, in SIZE column is more than I setting (found 644).
So I'm don't know the actual memory that java process used. (In this case,is it mean the process use memory (644) more than setting (512)?)
    Thank you.

With Xms/Xmx you specify the Java heap size. On top of that comes the permanent generation (default max size 64m) and the C part of the process (the JVM itself with all its libraries and data).
With "ps -e -o pid, vsz, rss, args" you get the virtual and set resident size of your processes.
    Nick.

  • Unable to print PDF files using Acrobat 8.

I had to uninstall and then reinstall Office for Mac 2011.  I don't know if it's related or not,  but since doing so I have been unable to print PDF files using Adobe Acrobat 8. After opening a PDF file and hitting print, Adobe Acrobat 8 crashes. Any suggestions?  I already uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat 8, but it still won't print PDF files. O

While you are having difficulty in printing a PDF file, you may try the  subsequent steps. If you are in a rush and would like to print a simple  document such as a letter, a form, or a calendar, you may print it as an  image. Next option is that you may need to update your printer driver   if the PDF does not print, the PDF prints as a blank page or with  unreadable text or if you get an error message when you print.  Sometimes, when you print a file that is on a thumb drive or a network,  the file gets damaged. Then you have to open the copy on your hard drive  and print again. At last, you can try printing the PDF using another  printer and check your printer connection too if the PDF does not get  printed. get more help to fix unable to printer PDF file hope this helps you.
    Good Luck!

  • Print the form only when valid

    Hello,
I have a PrintButton on my PDF form which activates the form validation. The print dialog appears only when the form is valid. However, users still can print the form using the File Menu or Toolbar. I tried to deny printing in the PDFSecurity tab of the Form Properties and re-enable it once the form is valid (xfa.PDFSecurity.SetAttribute("1","print")) but it does not work.
Is it possible to force the user to print only with my print-validate button? What would be the appropriate way to do that?
    Thanks
    Julie

    Hi Johnny,
The only way that Acrobat or Reader can vouch for the integrity of the digital signature is from within the application. Once you print the file Acrobat/Reader has no way of verifying that the printed document is cryptographically sound (which is what a digital signature proves). As such, we specifically inhibit printing the signature status.
Another way to think of this is, the validity of an electonic document can only be guaranteed in the electonic environment. Once the document moves into the physical world Acrobat (or any application that processes digital signatures) has lost control.
