Mp3 attachment to SD card

I'm missing something fairly obvious here.  I've received an mp3 file as an attachment.  It's 1mb, and when I try to open it I get a message stating "Attachment size exceeds server value."  My thought is to transfer it to my SD card, but I'm not having any luck figuring out how to do that.  What am I missing?

In the email, scrolling to and over the attachment, did you click on DOWNLOAD?

how can I verify an apple id already created without attaching a credit card?

Why do you need to verify it? Have you received an email telling you to click a link to do so? - if so it's very possible that it's a scam designed to trick you into entering your credit card details. If you have received such an email don't follow any links in it. If it's not addressed to you by name it's unlikely to be from Apple.
You could copy and paste the email into a post here so that we can have a look at it - remove your own email address when you do this.
If there is some other reason you want to verify the ID please give more details.

  • Cannot drag MP3 attachment out of mail.

    Hey All,
Since somewhere in Mavericks, now in Yosemite, I lost the ability to drag an MP3 attachment out of mail. I remember the time I was able to do so. Don't know where or what or why that changed. I can drag it in though, but not out. With things like jpeg, or pdf, I have no problems. I checked all prevs, of Mail app, and Finder.
    What Am I doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Barracuda

i do want to leave 'automatic sync' enabled because, well, i want my phone to automatically sync when i plug it in. i also want drag-drop to work once it's done that, but that's why i posted...
the 2nd drag-drop: "the same drag-drop that worked not two minutes ago" refers to "[[dragging]] .MP3 files from elsewhere on my computer to my iTunes music library". Nothing to do with the phone. In fact the problem still occurs if I disconnect the phone after iTunes has launched.
i'd be interested to hear if anyone else sees this behavior:
    1) iTunes launched by Explorer => drag-drop enabled
    2) iTunes launched by iTunesHelper (plug in iPhone) => drag-drop disabled
where 'launched' means actually launched, and not just restored from the system tray.

  • How do I save an mp3 attachment in my email on my ipad air

How do I save an mp3 attachment in my email on my ipad air to my music files?

From Mail, you cannot. You must sync music to your Music app through iTunes. Though there are other options on what you can do with it if other mp3 registered apps are installed on your iPad.

  • I am not able to attach my visa card to my apple account

every time when i try to attach my visa card  they say "your payment method was declined . please enter onther payment method"

In addition to what others have offered, note that it's an age old conundrum that we find ourselves typing the digit 1 instead of the upper case letter I or lower case L and the letter O for the digit 0. So you might carefully scrutinize what you were given as opposed to what you were typing.
    Cheers... Rick

  • HT5057 iTunes account attached to debit card. How to use iTunes gift cards without charging debit card?

Hey everyone! I have an iTunes account and attached to that account I have a debit card. I recently got some iTunes gift cards and would like to use them as the main source to fund purchases until they run out and then go back to using my debit card. How do I do this? Do I have to delete my debit card info and add the gift card info or is there a way to keep the debit card info listed but use the gift cards first?
Thanks so much for all your help. Not sure how to retrieve any disscussions but I'll figure it out somehow.

You can redeem iTunes gift cards by clicking "Redeem" under Quick Links at the top right of the iTunes store.
Gift card credit is automatically used before your debit card, so there is no need to remove it. After your credit is used your debit card will be charged again.

  • Transferring MP3 tunes to SD Card

I have converted some of my Itunes songs to MP3, and I have tried to copy them to an SD card via copy/paste, and drag/drop, but they do not make it to the card. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

I pull them over from Itunes, they appear for a couple of seconds and then disappear.

  • MP3 attachment causes mail to minimize

When I attach a photo to an e-mail, I click send and the bar at the bottom shows the progress in loading and sending the mail. If, however, the attachment is an mp3 file, the whole mail window disappears and goes to the dock where I need to click and bring it back. The mail is sent as it should be. It is just that the window minimizes to the dock as it is loading and getting ready to send. Any way to keep the mail window open while this is happening?

Thanks for the responses Laura & Massimo. Firstly, the Client is 14.0.1 Build 117118. The error message pops up as a box over the client saying the message is undeliverable (sorry, I don't have the exact wording). Also, it is not consistent, i.e. it does not happen every time. Attachments are usually pdf's, sometimes word docs. Because it is inconsistent I have not been able to duplicate it. The files are being dropped in the attachment area. Sometimes the email that has created the error message does get delivered in spite of the fact it said it was undeliverable but the attachment is garbage. The user usually just tries again and it works or they drag the file to the desktop and then to the email and that works.

  • Hidden MP3 files on memory card

Up until last week I was able to merrily sync my songs onto my Storm's memory card using Windows Media Player, then all of a sudden all the songs on the memory card disappeared from the Storm's media player and I could only see the songs on the phones onboard memory.  However, you can see and play the files by exploring through the file system on the Storm and choosing the "show hidden" option in the folders.  As these files cant be viewed through the Storm's media player, the media experience becomes very poor.  Now, I noticed that if I sync the songs to the Storm using Windows Media Player AND choosing NOT to create a file hierarchy on the Storm's memory card, the songs appear correctly in the Storm's media player, with the disadvantage that the memory card becomes a bit cluttered because tracks arent sorted into folders as I have chosen not to use a file hierarchy when syncing.
Now, I have tried the usual tricks to sort the usual media problem out e.g. battery pulls, quickpull, deleting the bbthumbs files to force indexation (no reindexation takes place for me now!!!), and formatting the memory card and then saving the music again, but none of this works.
Any assistance would be helpful-clearly something has changed in my device software but I cant identify what it is, since I was able to use this so easily jsut last week without these problems.
If RIM is ever threatened by bankruptcy, the government should bail it out like a Wall Street bank....

I may be able to help. I had the same issue. I connected my bb to my pc, in my computer I opened the "Media card". On the card is the "blackberry" folder which is giving all the trouble, open this folder and cut all the subfolders, click "back", and paste directly onto the media card. So the "music" and "picture" folders etc... are now no longer sub-folders of the "blackberry" folder, they are in the same folder as the "blackberry" folder and the "private" and "tmp" folders. This seems to have cured the problem of the hidden files. It is the actual "blackberry" folder that is the problem, not its sub-folders and files...
I dont know how the blackberry will respond to this but it may keep trying to use the blackberry folder for any new media...

  • Transfer mp3's to SD Card

    Hello.
I am not sure if I should post this here but I will give it a shot. I have a Mac Mini (G4). I have an SD Card reader hooked up through a USB port. When I put the card in the reader and drive pops up on the desktop of the computer. My problem is when I double click and open it, then try to drag and drop files onto it nothing happens. All I get is an error message telling me that the card "No Name" can't be modified.
    Any help here?

I just noticed a lock switch on the card. Allowed me to put files on it while unlocked, go figure. Sorry for the waste of space.

  • Can't pay for mp3's with gift card?

My son has an iPod and he recently received a gift card for Christmas. He redeemed the gift card ($25) and can pay for Apps and download them from the App store and it deducts the amount from his positive balance but when he purchases music it charges my credit card they have on file instead of the gift card????

    Me neither
My point being it is not explicitly mentioned in the FAQ:
What can I buy with an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes Gift Certificate?
iTunes Gift Cards and iTunes Gift Certificates can be used to purchase music, videos,
TV shows, and audio books from the iTunes Store. At this time, iTunes Gift Cards
and iTunes Gift Certificates are not accepted for online Apple Store purchases.
    They should update the document.

  • ITunes Won't Play MP3 Attachment

    Greetings,
Are there iTunes Preferences that first need to be in place before playing an MP3 created in iTunes and received through the Internet?
I've created a song in GarageBand2 then exported it to iTunes, and finally converted it as an MP3 to email through the Internet.
Various friends tell me the song plays fine on PCs without iTunes, yet, one friend who is using an iMac/iTunes setup cannot play it! How can this be?
Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Choose a genre you like and download
any one file for testing. All the files on
Download.com are in the mp3 format. See if iTunes
    will play that file.
Let me know if you can play the mp3 file you
downloaded. If you can, then the problem is not
iTunes ability to play mp3 files but with the discs
    themselves.
    Tom -
I did what you suggested and had no trouble with iTunes playing the mp3 file.
Because you cannot see the discs in Finder and need
to shut down the computer to eject the discs, I
suspect there is a problem with the discs themselves.
Couldn't the problem still be with the iBook? The reason I say this is because I was able to play one of the disks before on the iBook. Now it won't play.
On the other hand, all these disks come from the same source and may be defective in some way as you suggest.
Have you tried playing the discs in another computer
    or mp3-enabled cd player?
As I don't have another mp3 player, I'll have to find someone who can test them and let you know. I won't bother you again until I find out.

CAn't seem to do it, the options are for links, it appears, not attachments. Or what am I missing?

    garagecapital,
    Try this:
    1. Open Address Book, and drag the desired address to your desktop.
    2. Click on attachments "Add File…" in the iCal Edit/Info bubble and select the card/.vcf file on your desktop.
