No app needed, just go into your Utlities folder and click on System Information (it could go by another name). Click on Software and then Applications. Wait a minute for it to load and then check for anything that says "PowerPC" instead of Universal or Intel. PowerPC software will not work in Lion. With my 100+ apps, none of them were PowerPC.
Note: You may have to resize the System Information window to see the operating information.

When your product is certified on Weblogic Server 9.2.x, it means it supports WLS 9.2.3(9.2 MP3). As David says MP3 is the Maintenance Pack Release(Bug fix).
Generally companies would test their products on a particular weblogic version before certifying it as supported for their product.

Isight compatibility with OSX 10.8.2?

I have purchased a stand alone isight camera to go with my 2013 mac mini; I've got the 6-9 pin firewire cable and have got the camera to power on and be recognised by the computer (see below), but it simply isn't functioning properly. Images are refreshed every 5 minutes or so? Any suggestions of a solution?

First thing: Possible Hardware or Software Conflicts with iSight.
Chaining external iSight with other Firewire devices on the same Firewire ports often causes function problems. Disconnect all other Firewire devices and restart your Mac while testing your iSight with your mini. (I think your mini has only one FW bus. If that is correct, you may need to disconnect all other FW devices every time you want to use use an external iSight with your mini.)
If your trouble continues when no other FW device are connected, consider these other possibilities:
(1) If the old external iSight you have still works, it should work with the new Mac mini. You can test an external iSight using the suggestions in this link , including Apple's troubleshooting suggestions from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090
Test more than one Apple camera-enabled app in more than one user account. However, don't use the "Guest" account for testing. If your Mac only has one account, create a new user account for testing.
(2) Although unlikely, it is possible that your Firewire 400-800 cable is not working properly. You can check cable function by trying the cable with a different FW400 device.
If you don't have another FW400 device, get at least one more connector to test for possible connection problems. Any working one of something like those listed here should work to connect your FW400 external iSight:

(3) Apple discontinued external iSight several years ago.
My external iSights (I have two) are great webcams, but they are getting old (as consumer electronics go.) Both of mine still work as well as they did when they were new. However, some previously owned or even NOS iSights may have been damaged by rough treatment or improper storage.
The only way to know whether any presently available external iSight works properly is to test it using suggestions similar to those I offered above before you buy. If you did not test the external iSight before you bought and now find it will not work properly with your system, perhaps a trusted seller will give you return or exchange privileges.
Otherwise, if you don't want to spend the money to have your external iSight serviced, consider a new, Mac-compatible USB cam that offers a current manufacturer's warranty instead of any external iSight. (4) If you want to look for more ideas, you can search iSight Discussions.

my G4050 worked "before" correctly to scan 35mm rolls, aso. For months was no using such kind of scanning, Recently after trying again such 35mm negs or transparency scans, NO WAY...
Image capture doesn't work for such scan, probably because latest IOS updates have changed the options.
HP years ago provided excellent software for 35mm scanning with the 4050 but as Image capture is "now" indispensable to scan, the incompatibility is evident.
WHY ?
Are we froced to use another "pro" (Epson 800 f.i.) to keep scanning ?
Is there a problem inside the PC, the Image Capture software, or where is the solution ? any option to use other software welcome...

HP 4MV compatability with OSX 10.6.7

Hello Apple (and Sibelius) experts,
I currently have Sibelius v.6.2 (a professional music notation program), running it on a Mac Pro 2.8Ghz, OSX 10.6.7.
I have a HP 4MV Laserjet printer which I love. It has worked great under OSX 10.5.8 with an ethernet connection. However, after upgrading to OSX 10.6.7 I'm experiencing difficulties.
I found several threads about this subject on other online forums (HP, for instance) and decided to buy a Belkin parallel-to-USB converter.
I'm now able to print Sibelius files, but the quality is inferior to what I was used to seeing when running 10.5.8. For instance, the crescendo/decrescendo lines are slightly jagged, they look like they're coming out of my old Stylewriter 1200 ...
Would anyone have an idea how to regain the original, and intended print quality?

First, back up all data. Boot from your installation DVD and reinstall Snow Leopard. Unless some mishap occurs, your data will be undisturbed. Then reboot and download the 10.6.6 combo update from the Apple Support site. Apply the update, and after rebooting, run Software Update and apply all available updates except 10.6.7.

Creative Suite 2 and 3 compatibility with OSX 10.6.3

Could someone tell me if CS2 and CS3 are compatible with Snow Leopard 10.6.3?
The Adobe tech people said no, I'm curious to see if anyone has had success with it.
Unfortunately I need both versions. I purchased CS2 with a free upgrade to CS3. So it seems that both CS2 and CS3 must work (but would be happy if someone can tell me otherwise).
It's pretty outrageous that a product I bought 2.5 years ago suddenly stops working and I'm being punished for keeping up with the latest operating system. And I am not going to uninstall my operating system and go back to Leopard, just to use CS; that's crazy talk.
By comparison, Final Cut Studio 1 has served me well for five years, not even a glitch. Even Microsoft Office 2004 works perfectly.
I have no need to upgrade to CS4 or CS5, nor the money to do so.

I am somewhat in the same situation. I have CS3 Master Collection and upgraded my Mac Book Pro to OS 10.6 and lost my labels in Sound Booth effects settings. I called Adobe and was told I may need to downgrade my OS back to where CS3 was working without any problems.
I am not downgrading but that is what they told me to do to fix my problem. Hope that helped.

Techtool pro 4.1 compatibility with osx 10.4.6

Hi recently i updated to techtool pro 4.1 and since this time i have had a few problems. I erased the original edrive as advised and reinstalled the new edrive./ all was hunky dory everything working really well and quick. Then the phantom grey screen appeared at boot up. All keyboard function had no effect, no chime no whirring just freeze. So i zapped the PRAM and hey presto it kicked in allowing me to disconnect peripherals and as a precausiton i took out the techttol pro completely. since then and on reading other users comments ablout glitches i have been loathe to reinstall it but want trouble free computing ( as near as **** it) What do i do I have software whcih is touted initially as great and has conflicting reports. What do i do?
I use my mac for home use only and only have fotos and music and the odd lyric i have written. Q what is disc warrior do i need it?
Could this have nothing to do with the techtool software could it be a virus?

Hi Alan, Welcome to Apple Discussions.
I am running TTP 4.1.1 with 10.4.6 without issues. I don't use e-drive, never did so I can't help you there but there should be no conflict.
I can assure you with 99.999% certainty it is NOT a virus.
DiskWarrior rebuilds the directory and it does it in the same fashion as TTP and that is about all it does, so if you have TTP I wouldn't advise spending the additional $ on DW.
What does Disk Utility >> Verify Disk report?

Printer compatibility with OSX 10.8.5

Every printer (about 10) I've researched today does not list OSX 10.8.5 as being compatible. Can I just download the newest printer driver? I had this problem once before and the driver was not available.

Browser compatable with OSX that works like IE????

My school only works with IE. No other browsers supported. I've tried Safari, Firefox, Camino, and Opera. I finally installed Parallels and I'm using XP home, just for IE. Is there any way to get IE running on the Mac OS?

Have you already tried changing your user agent to MSIE by way of the Debug menu? If all else fails, there's always the now-discontinued MSIE 5.2.3 (link). Note, however, that before it was discontinued, it hadn't been updated for at least 2 years. Use it at your own peril.

Photosmart C7280 not compatable with OSX 10.6.8

All was well until I upgraded my MAC to snow leopard OS X 10.6.8. Now the computer will not recognize the printer, photosmart C7280. Neither scan nor print. The HP upgrade did not help.

It should be pretty easy to get your printer working again, here are the steps to try

Firefox 3.6.18 crashes with an error message "unresolved kernel trap......." on a MAC desktop with OSX 10.4.11. Could this be as simple as a compatibility issue?
