MP3 Issue

I am trying build a simple audio player in Edge Animate. I have added seven .MP3 files and created 7 buttons to trigger the .mp3s to play. For whatever reason, if I add more than 6 audio files to the document, the 7th will not play. (Sometimes it's the first or any of the other files will all of sudden no longer play.) I have tried a half a dozen different methods of doing this very simple task and cannot get it to work.
Does anyone know why this would happen?

There is a limit to the number of simultaneous http connection per server, and this number depends upon the browsers like for chrome it's 6.
So, maximum of 6 audio/video can play at one time.

Vivekuma

  • Weblogic 9.2 MP3 Issue with EPM System 11.1.1.3

    Hi,
I am currently running into issues when trying to configure Shared Services via the EPM System Configurator 11.1.1.3. I've installed Weblogic 9.3 MP3 with all of the default options (including establishing Node Manager as a service). I've also created a seperate userId in Weblogic called hyperion (with the password of hyperion) so that EPM can access the instance against the default web server.
When I run the configurator to try and deploy to application server, the status sits there on the "Starting WebLogic 9 Admin Servers" and does nothing.
Sometimes is does get past that but then the deployment fails because it is unable to deply the interop.war.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm 100% stuck!
    Thanks,
    Anju

  • Replacing MP3 issue

Being new to FCP 7, I ran into an issue with a MP3 file that was giving me problems. After researching and feeling dumb for realizing they aren't so much compatible with FCP, I replaced the said cue. My issue now is, throughout my edit (2 plus hours), I have actually used several other MP3 files - files that have NOT given me issues thus far on the cut, the one that I replaced was the only one giving me problems.
My question now is, should I replace the non-problematic (yet) files going forward? If so is there an easy way to do so without having to recut all the pieces of music with new AIFFs?
Any help would be great. I searched and couldn't find an answer specific to the issue of replacing mp3s that have "worked" so to speak. Any help would be fantastic.

yes you should replace all mp3's.  they may work for a while, but just when you need to make a deadline and output, things will go south.  mp3's like h264 quicktimes are not fcp friendly.
You may be able to reconnect the mp3's with the aiffs.  Worth a shot.  Select an mp3 in the timeline or browser, control click and choose reconnect, navigate to the aiff and disable what ever it says about it needing to have the same file name and try to reconnect.  It may tell you attributes don't match, but try continuing.  It may work.  If it does, do this with the rest of the mp3's in your project.

  • Sansa MP3 issues

I just bought a Sansa SanDisk and it came in today with everything. I've been trying to install it to my computer for over an hour and it won't do anything. I tried the disk and it refuses to do anything, and the mp3 will not turn on, even when I put in a fresh battery. Should I get it fixed? I had one before and it never did this...so maybe I got a bad one?
    [Music Lover Forever]

If you're within the return period, just take it back for another one. If it won't even turn on, it's defective.
If you like my post, or solution to your issue/question, go ahead and click on the little star by my name and/or accept the post as the Solution. It makes me happy.
I'm NOT an employee of Best Buy, or Geek Squad, though I did work as an Agent for a year 5 years ago. None of my posts are to be taken as the official stance that Best Buy will take on your situation. My advice is just that, advice.
Unfortunately, that's the bad luck of any electronic, there's going to be bad Apples... wait that's a horrible pun.

  • MP3 issue in Slideshow module

    HI
In Slideshow Module, LR3 does not read correctly the .MP3 files (soundtrack checked) . Could anybody help me?
    Thanks; Christian

Oh, we're in the wrong forum. Look here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/lightroom3/
You should use LR 2 for anything that is not a simple test. LR 3 is far too buggy for any production work.

  • IMovie: exporting to Google Video/mp3 issue

I would like to export an iMovie project to a format that Google Video accepts. Google Video prefers mpeg 4 video with mp3 audio. iMovie "expert settings" allows mpeg 4 export, but the only audio options for this are AAC or "none". Does anyone know how I can either:
    - Add some type of plugin or installable codec that enables mp3 audio with mpeg 4 video as an iMovie export option?
    - What software to use to convert from another iMovie export format to mpeg4/mp3?
I currently own Toast 6 and standard Quicktime.
    Any advice much appreciated!

"MPeg Streamclip" is a free download. Get it and install it in your applications folder. It is a totally great application for doing all kinds of conversions. Export your iMovie project to Quicktime format. Then fire up MPeg Streamclip and drag your quicktime movie to the pane and drop it. Go to 'File' drag to 'Export to MP4' and another screen will open up. Choose "iPod" this setting works great for the Google videos. Trust the settings chosen by Streamclip. It may take a while to convert, but when finished, you wil be able to upload to the Google video upload page. You may want to do this before going to bed. It wil be ready when you get up! I have 4 videos on the Google site. I did all four by using "MPeg Streamclip" My latest upload is "Feather Falls 2006" Check it out and good luck

  • Quick Time Take Over and MP3 Issues

I recently downloaded Quick Time Pro for the purpose of watching online movies. I am no longer able to transfer or play mp3 podcasts except on Quick Time. I can no longer transfer them to my iRiver H300 either. Please let me know how I can tone down this programs aggressive nature?

Open QT Preferences and go to the Browser Plug-in
window. Click on MIME Settings and you should be
able to change the application that is called up to
play the various multimedia files you encounter.
Make sure that the only file type checked for QT to
    open is .mov files.
Thanks for your assistance but I'm still not able to download the MP3 files and have them saved to desktop. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Note, I have removed the checked or green blocks and all boxes except the Quick Movie boxes which can't be unchecked.
As soon as I click on the MP3 file it begins to play on Quick time.

  • Mega PC - CD and MP3 issue in HiFi

I have recently put together a Mega 651 with an LG 4520B Combo drive.  In HiFi mode the drive is not recognized for either Audio CDs or MP3s, but all functions work great in PC mode.
I also have a significant sound level difference when I switched to the 6 channel output from the basic 2 channel.  I am running an Altec Lansing 251 5.1 dolby set.  The speaker amp in 2 channel is near minimum and the 6 channel is near max and a significant noise increase is present.
Any comments or suggestions would be welcome.

    Hello,
yes interesting problem. I recently brought FX 5600 Ultra which required extra power cable for normal function. I messed with cables and when i finnally put my Mega PC in working mode all was fine until i tryed to play audio and mp3 discs.
It just refused to recognize any disc i put inside. I was very angry beacuse everything worked excellent before. Then i opened it again, and noticed that i reversed power cords for DVD-Drive and HDD.
You cant miss it, power cord which must be plugged into cd-dvd drive has small wire(3 or 4 wire together) which must be connected to motherboard.  If you dont do that, than when you are in HiFi mode, drive cant be controlled by motherboard.
What connection between soundcard and speakers are you using?
Are you using onboard audio or you installed audio PCI card (like i did )?

  • External mp3 issues

Hi, I'm loading exte3rnal mp3s and using their duration to
control the navigation of the flash movie. When the duratio of the
clip=the clips curret postion, the movie progresses and loads the
    next clip.
    if (_root.currentAudio.position ==
    _root.currentAudio.duration)
It works fine in firefox but not internet explorer. Any idea
    why?

Updated drivers from legacy driver pack. Card still doing the same thing. No drivers installed, can work fine but cannot utilize EAX add-ons, cpu says cannot find supported device.
Drivers installed, music plays choppy and fast. I have un-installed and re-installed all software and drivers and even cleared registry between installs and uninstalls... Still no ideas out there?

  • Firefox tries to download entire mp3 rather than stream it, as it did in previous versions, how do I get my stream-ability back?

Firefox refuses to stream mp3 files within the browser now that I've upgraded to 6.0.1. I was running 3.5 something which I loved and accidentally upgraded- after much adjusting and tweaking I'm kind of ok with 6.0.1... except for this mp3 issue.
It insists on downloading the entire mp3 before it will play any of it- which is a real killer on my slow connection when I listen to several hour long mixes pretty much 100% of the time.
Is there a way that I can get my stream-ability back?
    Note: in the applications tab under FF prefs I've tried all the options;
-Use quicktime plug-in 7.6.6 (in firefox) (it doesn't work like it should)
-Always ask (which tells me I lack required software)
-Save file (just as slow as what it's doing, except it takes it to my DL manager)
-Use itunes (I want them to stream in browser)
    Any help?

You can check the browser.newtab.url pref on the <b>about:config</b> page.

See this article about the New Tab page (about:newtab):
Try to reset some preferences to the default with the SearchReset extension:

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

  • I just want mp3

I downloaded my first song from Itunes today.I got it as a m4p or something like that. I was told by many people who use Itunes, that I could get mp3 format. I like the Itunes selection, but I do not like propietary formats or players.I will not use Itunes again, unless I can get mp3 format. When I downloaded from Itunes store, it did not ask me what format I would like, I just ended up with the apple brand.
When I find a song I like, how can I know if I can get it in mp3, and what bitrate I will be getting ? I want to use Itunes store to download mp3 only. Please tell me if I have made a big mistake using Itunes. Maybe it is mostly for Ipod use.
Please help me to understand my mp3 issue
    Thanks
    Dr. Kelly Brackett

iTunes does not sell .mp3 files. They sell .aac files (not a proprietry format, by the way). These files are either protected (128 kpbs) or unprotected (256 kbps). The unprotected tracks are marked by a "+" next to the price in the iTunes Store. Unprotected tracks can be converted to .mp3.
If you wish to avoid the hassle of converting, you may want to try other store such as Amazon which sells tracks in mp3 format. I forget the exact quality.

  • Old jmf for linux with mp3

sun still hasn't reenabled the web page for the download of jmf for linux because of an MP3 issue.
I can't test my application because of this!
Can some non-Sun employee PLEEEASE email me a copy of the OLD jmf for Linux that plays MP3? Or tell me where I can get it???? I will only going use it internally for testing until the licensing issue gets straightened out, and, anyway, this is for a medical transcription app, NOT a mass-market broadcast pirated music over the web app
    PLEASE, I need some help.

Hi If u have received the old copy pls sedn it to me also.

  • Playback position on iPod not Syncing to iTunes. Nano 5, long mp3 files. I have remember playback position selected in Options, and that works fine. But position (45 minutes) on iPod and 2 minutes on iTunes do not get together

Long audio files (mp3 books) on ipod nano 5 play fine,  Ipod remembers playback position (I set the flag in info-options) but after listeniong for a while on ipod, I expect that a sync to PC should update the playback position in iTunes.  Thus I should be able to subsequently sync a second device to iTunes and have the position passed along to the second device.  This is not working for me.  I have the latest nano software, and iTunes 11.1.2.32.  Have just re-installed iTunes per troubleshooting suggestioons on support web page.
Is this a format problem (mp3 issue) or something else?

Reply seems to be theway to elaborate on my origi;nal post.
I have now tried turning off Manually manage music and video on the iPod.  One of the 3 long audio files (books as mp3) reloaded to the iPod when I made the chnge, but no loss in my case..  Playback position on iPod seemed to load into iTunes (looked good while iPod was connected in Playlists and Library/Music, but as soon as I disconnected the iPod the saved positions reverted to the old values.  One more theory shot down.  Since my goal is to keep several playback devices in step, I am back to jotting down the latest position and manually forward spacing the alternate device to pick up where I left off.
This seems so logical a use that I am baffled about why it is so hard (impossible?).

  • Please Help with linking buttons to media

    Hi,
I'm creating a virtual tour of my site and i have a couple of
things i'm stuck on. I've done an intro, and after that 6 buttons
roll in which you can click on that open up videos. I need the end
of the intro to now be 'frozen' or looped or something. How do i do
that? I've worked out the action script so that you click on the
button and the video plays, BUT how do i make the video invisible
before you click the button? At the moment it's just on the screen.
I also need each button to simultaneousy open up two mp3
files...what's the action script for that? I've been using script
    assist and i'm stuck.
    Thank you.

Hard to explain without seeing what you accomplished so far.
For the intro either add a keyframe then add either a stop action
or a gotoAndPlay action. For the video give the player an instance
name, then use actionscript to make it invisible. There are
tutorials on this forum for adding sounds to buttons:
For the MP3 issue here are some tutorials (thanks Chris G):

  • Cache problem with "videos" viewed by thumbnail ?

    Hello,
When I add video clips to my iTunes library, I have to crite the name of the author, the album... but sometimes display in the video view seems not to refresh : the clip are still listed without albums. I added clips 4 days ago, it refreshed immediately. I added clips three days ago, it still has not refreshed. I added clips two days ago, it took one day to refresh.
I tried changing view, changing album name, nothing work.

This is due to a bug in Flash Player 9.0.115.0, released on
    12/3/07.
Techsmith, the company that produces Camtasia, reported the
problem to Adobe a few months ago, but Adobe has not released an
update for it. Adobe suggested downgrading to an older version of
Flash Player, but older versions of Flash Player have security
vulnerabilities that could result in your computer being attacked.
Incidentally, Player 9.0.115.0 is classified as a "critical update"
    by Adobe.
Techsmith has released a patcher to fix affected Camtasia
videos, but the fix must be applied to the files on the server (all
of the Camtasia files) and can't be used by viewers. The problem
with Player 9.0.115.0 affects more than just Camtasia videos, of
    course.
Until a newer version of Flash Player is released, you
probably just need to live with it unless you're willing to risk
the security holes in older Player versions. We're coming up on
three months since Player 9.0.115.0 was released. Given the long
delay in fixing the problem, and since Techsmith claims that Adobe
has made fixing the problem a high priority, it's possible Adobe's
engineers can't find a fix. Only time will tell.
For more information, search this forum for "Flash Player
& Camtasia Studio", "Player 9.0.115.0 MP3 issues", and "flash
player audio chirps and video delays". For confirmation of the
security flaws, search the web for "apsb07-20".
