I bought a mp3 player(Creative Muvo TX SE GB) and i have the following problem:
If i start the mp3 player then he goes out after a few seconds...
If i try to add/remove songs the computer gives this error:
K:\ Can not be openend
Cant do the task by a fault in the I/O-device.

That doesn't sound good. Can you format the player, or does it give you a similar error then?

So i downloaded 2 updates for the Creative Zen Nano Plus and Installed Them... next thing i know, my MP3 doesn't turn on and when I try and plug into the computer, nothing happens. How can I fix 2121 sandbox security error, local swf MP3 player test calls MP3's from website?

1st Issue. I am a new user and am fighting #2121, #2044 & #2048 Flash security errors in getting an MP3 player to work as I test the fla file in Flash CS4 on my local computer. The fla in Flash and swf in Dreamweaver calls mp3 files from our host server on the internet.
After reading various sparce posts and Adobe articles on this issue, I have added a crossdomain.xml file at our websites root (see file below) and added the code, flash.system.Security.allowDomain in line 1 of the action script of the flash fla to allow our site access (-see script below). These efforts have helped get the player to work better on our test site.
But, I am still getting the 2121 error within Flash CS4 as I debug the player or play the swf in live view within Dreamweaver. Playing the fla or swf will lock-up the Flash 10 player and crash the program. I am having the mp3 player access the mp3 files from our web site as I test the fla.
Here is the debug message I am getting:

2nd Issue. The online playback of the mp3 player will play about 4-7 mp3’s then lock-up in Internet Explorer 8 on a pc. I think that is related to flash security, not sure, I do not know how to debug the mp3 player on the web site.

Do you have the standard or debug player installed? Such errors should not occur with the standard player.

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work. Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+). I also can't do this in Windows Explorer. Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.

The songs from the Sony MP3 player need to be imported into your iTunes library first before they can be synced or added to your iPod Classic.
Regarding the songs that didn't import into iTunes, what format are they in and what seems to be different from them compared with the tracks that did import?

Thank you, I understand, yeah, I knew that, my phone is factory unlocked and I am going home, which is obviously not in the States and I am thinking of buying a local carrier there. However, I still have 2 weeks before I leave and cannnot wait to start using my Iphone 4. I thought at least I could use the mp3 player function. i have a creative micro zen with about 000 handpicked and some very hard to find songs on it...i don't really have trouble with the player itself, just the software and the continous problems seems like everyone is having with something... my question is this..........if i wanted to get another mp3 player as a backup in case this one crashes, then what does everyone think about one of the smaller ipods? what about their software and such? and, if i do decide to get an ipod, then how would i transfer all these 000 mp3 songs onto the new ipod? would there be an issue with the fact that they are not bought from itunes?? would it not be safe to do that? and if it is okay to do that,? how would i transfer the songs back onto my PC, as i have tried everything suggested on this board recently in trying to do that using Mediasource and it just won't work even after downloading all new plugins etc. if someone has an idea about this, please let me know step by step if possible about how i can get these songs that are valuable to me from my zen micro, to my computer, and then onto another mp3 and if ipod (nano for instance) is a wise choice or if there is another player in the same category that others have found they have waaaay less problems with and better support/service with it's?any help anyone gives would be greatly appreciated!? i appreciate all the suggestions to my other questions as well!?thanks,barb

There are a limited number of other players that will show up in iTunes for Mac but apart from the phones from Motorola none can play content from the iTunes Music Store. The Creative Zen Nano Plus is one that does connect and that you can drag tracks to from within iTunes. However yours may not be one of the few compatible models. Apple haven't updated the compatibility list for years, this is the only one I could find: iTunes for Mac OS X: Compatible Players
