  • How can I use Iphone 4 as an mp3 player without a sim card until I get one?

    Hi,
How can I use Iphone 4 as an mp3 player without a sim card until I get one? I just bought the phone and each time I try to switch it on to use the mp3 player, I cannot. It asks me to insert a sim card and I don't have a sim card yet. I was thinking I could use the mp3 player function of my phone until I buy a sim card.
Thank you for your help in advance,

Thank you, I understand, yeah, I knew that, my phone is factory unlocked and I am going home, which is obviously not in the States and I am thinking of buying a local carrier there. However, I still have 2 weeks before I leave and cannnot wait to start using my Iphone 4. I thought at least I could use the mp3 player function. So as far as I understand, I cannot activate it without a sim card. I have been using metropcs for about two years and it does not have a sim card. In this case, do I really not have another choice but wait for two weeks to listen to music? My Mp3 player just failed me and I really need to listen to music but on the other hand, while I can use my iphone as an mp3 player in two weeks, I don't want to spend more money on a new one. So, do you have another suggestion? For instance, can I use a friend's sim card to activate mine? Would this cause any trouble, when I go home and buy a local carrier? I think these questions might kinda sound weird to you, but first time with an Iphone, extremely excited to start using under my circumstances, I need help   thanks,

  • I can't get my music to download to my MP3 Player

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available
Every time I try to put music on my MP3 Player some gets on it and the rest have this error message. I have been messing with it for weeks and I can't figure it out. I am about to just throw away my computer!!!!!!!!

Have you consulted the User Manual for the MP3 Player or contacted the Technical Support of the MP3 Player manufacturer?
The MP3 Player User Manual should have step-by-step instructions on how to do this with their hardware.
This is not a Windows related problem.  This is your MP3 player's problem and you need to contact the manufacturer of your MP3 player if you are unable to get it to function as intended.  The manufacturer of the MP3 player has sole responsibility
for support of their product, not Microsoft!

  • Mp3 player not respond

I took my mp3 player off the charger, and now it won't respond. It is stuck on the opening screen and it says it is playing a song but there is no sound coming out. I can't get it to scroll through the different screens, and the only way I can get it to turn off is if the battery goes dead, or if I push the reset button, and when either of these happen after it comes back on the same screen appears.

  • 5610 MP3 player

I am trying to use my 5610, which has a built-in MP3 player in my car via the car's AUX input.  I bought all the right connections but the car Aux input and stereo do not recognize my phone MP3.  I tried it on another car and the same thing happened.  I tested using an inexpensive MP3 player and worked on both cars so is not a car problem
    Any suggestions anyone?

  • MP3 player with good recording abillit

Hi, i'm looking for MP3 player that can record via the microphone in MP3 or WMA in a decent quality. I'm interested in one of the smaller players - -2 gb.
Is there any quality difference between the Zen-products?
Do you know the bitrate these players record in?

Ok. So I guess the Zen V would be the best solution for me or do you think the Zen Nano Plus will do the same?
I don't know, but the Nano Plus is cheaper and smaller. I don't think there is a huge improvement in recording sound quality with the Zen V. :|

  • I forgot to charge my Creative Zen mp3 player fully before first using it

I forgot to charge my Creative Zen mp3 player fully before first using it, and started syncing music onto it while it was charging for the first time. How much damage do you think this would have caused, and is there anything I can do to correct my mistake? Thanks.

I didn't fully charge my player the first time I used it and it works fine. The battery life seems to be on par with everyone else's. Also if you just plugged it into the computer and started syncing music you don't have anything to worry about. Even though you were syncing music you were still charging and not depleting the battery. I think the recommendation means that you don't "use" the player meaning unplug it from your computer with only a half charge and then run the battery out. Anyways, your player will be just fine.

  • MP3 Player (Zen Micro)won't recognize fully charged battery and won't recognize compu

    Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for me. I can not download the new firmware until I can get the computer to stay connected to the MP3 Player long enough. The only way I can use the MP3 Player is if it is plugged into the wall. Any ideas of why the MP3 Player will not recognize the fully charged battery?
    Thank you?
    Kukmeri?

Is it possible that your battery might be worn out or defecti've? If a fully charged battery only lasts a very short period, there would either be a problem with the player cutting off at the incorrect voltage or the battery itself is not capable of holding much of a charge.

  • Turning mp3 player on via

    Hi!
My problem is that on my creative zen micro the power switch has broken
so the only way I can turn on my device is to hook up with the computer via usb.
So I figured out that if I build a little device, which I can connect to the mp3
player, I'll be able to turn it on.
I was thinking about modifying a usb cable by attaching a power supply to it (that
has the certain voltage of a usb port), and when I plug it in to my zen micro, that
    will just turn on
I know it sounds foolish, but any ideas how to do it's Would it work? And could anyone
give me a link of usb specifications and documents?
    thanks

Knock yourself out. You've got a lot of reading ahead of you.
But seriously, if you want less technical, I'd say google "usb mod" and see what turns up. You're bound to find some projects that will give you some ideas on your approach.

  • Charging an MP3 player on my iPad?

    Is it possible
to charge an mp3 player on my iPad?  Is there an accessory charger available?

I'm not quite sure I follow. If you want to get an MP3 file onto your iPad, load it into iTunes on your computer and sync it from there.
If that doesn't answer your question, please post back and explain further what it is you are trying to accomplish.
    Regards.
