I recently learned how to download videos off of facebook and save it onto my hardrive, and now I am trying to import them to be cut on IMovie, but only the audio will load. Any help? I am desperate, been trying to figure it out for hours. Thanks!

It's hard sometimes to guess what's happened. But there is a workaround that might get that audio clip working. Most often converting it to an 16bit AIFF file (uncompressed) will be enough to allow iMovie to play it back. Even in a large project like they one you are making. Do you know what file format it is in now?

Those pixel dimemsions have aspect ratios that are not the same as a 5 x7 print:
1360 x 1360 = 1.0
790 x 640 = 1.23
2048 x 1366 = 1.5
An 7 x 5 image = 1.4.
So you'll need to crop the images to 5 x 7 before printing. The first two images are a little light in the pixels to produce a high resolution 5 x 7 print.

Half of my video wont work on imovie on ipad mini

Hi all, i make youtube videos, for christmas i was lucky enough to recieve an ipad mini. i downloaded imovie on it to edit my videos, and i got it for free. i recorded my video on my camera as normal and imported the video on to my laptop (not a mac) and first of all it wouldnt let me sync it on my ipad so i had to go onto window movie maker and save it as a project then sync it, that seemed to work fine. So i went onto imovie on my ipad and imported and it was going great and i was editing, ( by the way my video was 27 minutes long) and then at one point of the video it stopped, the sound wouldnt work and it was still playing but the video was just a black screen? so i thought my camera must of stopped recording, so ive watched it back on my laptop and it is fine, something has happened while it has been synced from my laptop to my ipad and i dont no what? please some one help it is so annoying, i have synced it four times and it just wont work. annoying!

I have now solved my problem..
I needed my video to be in MP4, lucky my camera has a MP4 mode on it so i didnt have to convert it!!

HP Photosmart 8250 will no longer recognize photos downloaded from Facebook. Any ideas?

I used to download and print photos from Facebook, but the HP Photosmart 8250 will no longer recognize these files on the SD card. I believe Facebook recently updated it's photo format (incidentally, older images on Facebook still work fine). Any ideas?

i have cs5 creative design premuim on my old laptop but it struggled to run it. i recently got a new laptop and want to put it on there only to find i have misplaced the disk and tryed downlaoding it but i cant dowload cs5 any more. i dowlaoded cs5.5 but the serial number from my cs5 wont work help i need to use it asap and the trial has run out

Serial number of cs5 will not work in cs5.5 , they are version dependent.
YOu can download the cs5 from "prodesigntools.com" and then install the software.
Write a DVD or take a backup of the files downloaded for the later use.

Receiving "like" notifications from Facebook not working

All of my friends receive a notification from Facebook when somebody likes their status. For example, when their phone is locked they will get a notification that someone liked their status. My iPhone 4 doesn't do that though. I get other notifications such as comments, friend requests, etc. but not likes. I've deleted the app, compared it to others but it still doesn't work. Is there a way I can fix this?

The same problem here. It used to work for a while. But after the last update it stopped working.
if I get an e-mail reply to an event, it does not update the attendee list.
i figured out though, that if you drag the .ics file onto iCal window (events part), the attendee status is updated and event is marked as done, but there is still a question mark in the upper part of the event.
obviously a bug.

Excel download from ALV not working inproduction

I am using "set_table_for_first_display" for alv display. the excel download from alv is woking fine in development and quality stystem but in production only first 3-4 rows are getting downloaded. Other rows donot appear in excel.

Hi Experts,
I have noticed that same problem is occuring in development system also with same set of data . The ascii file created has some missing rows. I guess its due to some special characters though i am not able to see any special character . Any solution for this.

You click the link on your iTunes store receipt and report a problem. They will either refund the amount or flag your account to allow you to download it again.

Facebook wont work!

i updated my facebook on my blackberry curve and it download and said sucseffuly download and then said reboot so i clicked reboot but now when i rebooted and turned on a message came up saying
" application terminated:net_rim_bb_facebook has been denied the "cross application communication" permission."
and
'uncaught exception: applicationregistry.waitfor(0*6166582daeceea55) timeout'
and now facebook has gone of my homescreen and now it wont let me download it again! HELP PLEASE!!

Will it let you uninstall it? Here are a few different ways.

If you can't uninstall it, then you can try uninstalling it using safe mode.
Battery pull, insert battery and when the red light goes off, hold down the back key through the entire boot process. It will give you a message about safe mode.

If facebook isn't listed, then try to install it in safe mode and try another battery pull.
from your phone go to mobile.blackberry.com, click on social networking and try to download facebook.

Can I download from a camcorder directly to iMovie?

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to download movies directly to iMovie from my camcorder. I have gotten it to the point that it will download directly into iPhoto, and then I copy it to iMovie, but is there some sort of workaround that will allow me to have it go directly to iMovie?

While I have played around a little bit with iMovie, my knowledge of it is not great enough to answer your question. I think you might be able to find more help over in iMovie forum where the really knowledgeable iMovie users hang.

Photo's from iPhoto stopped working in iMovie

I have a one year old iMac 27" machine running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5. Also using iMovie 11
I have been producing 8 minute long football highlight video's for the past year. About 30 of them so far. During the season (now) it's one a week. I've got three different video cameras and two photographers going on this with me. So everything is fine until this year, when dragging photo's into my iMovie project, some random photo's won't work. When the curser goes over the photo all I get is black or blank. Or sometimes a distorted still of a video or photo of a nearby clip, although as i move the cursor the photo eventually becomes black.
I've tried re-booting, unplugging and that does not work. I have edited the photo in iMovie again and that worked once. But something seems to be holding up iMovie from reading the photo. One time I re-imported all the photo's and then I could place them in iMovie. I thought then that it had something to do with the import into iPhoto. But then it happend on a photo I've had for over a year and use in each weeks video and it showed up blank.
I've read a lot of the discussions on this page and maybe it has something to do with the audio issues people are having? one thing I did differently this year is that I have been using a trailer intro. The pyramid one. Along with the sound. I use it at the beginning of each weeks video. Do you think that is effecting anything? I'm going to try building the video without the pyramid this week and see what happens.
This is a frustrating issue as I cannot get the photo's I need in the project at times. Just takes so much longer to get this done... Looking for solution.
Oh yeah, all my video is on an external drive. iPhoto is on internal drive with over 6,000 photos. wonder if my internal drive is developing an issue?
Looking for answers. Would appreciate any help at all!

I had this issue with a series of photos originally imported and rotated under iPhoto 4. But somewhere along the way, the originals must have gotten deleted, as the "Revert to Original" command was greyed out and not a viable solution for me. However, I found that AppleTV would display the photo correctly if I just made any type of edit to the photo - say red-eye, or crop, or adjust exposure/saturation, or anything. Once saved as edited in iPhoto 8, AppleTV had no problem.

Since i downloaded update it wont work?

I have a new macbook, 10.5.1 and have used garageband a few times already. I downloaded the rest of the instruments and apple loops as part as the update. At the end it said something could not be installed.
After my computer restarted, it installed the updates and when i tried to open garageband it wont open anymore. It came up with an error saying "this file is not supported. abort" four times and then another error saying "8 invalid region(s) changed!"
Now my garageband wont open all, after downloading the update..
I am new to the mac operating system having switched from windows... any ideas how to fix this?

Did you download the instruments and loops from the DVD?
Go to Library>Preferences and find, com.apple.garageband.cs and com.apple.garageband.plist put them in the trash. See if garageband opens. If it does and you need to install the loops/instruments do it from the dvd.

Isight wont work with imovie

everytime i create a movie magic using my isight,, it always say that "CAnt find A DV Camera" prompt,, though im seeing myself from the screen... how can i make isight work for for imovie 05???
is there a way to change DV camera option to Isight??
