Mp4 sorted- it wont upload. plz help

i got the lost box set for xmas. i ripped it to my computer, converted it to mp4 then using pspware i converted it to m4v thingy. i managed to get it into my itunes library and when i plugged ipod fifth gen into it and it did the auto update where it puts your songs on it etc. n it sed updating song 1 0f 5 m4v00001 to blushpod and it didnt upload but it said ok to disconnect after 5mins. so i seperately did th other 4 uploads. then attempted the M4V00001 and it said updating song M4V00001 to blushpod but the bar which shows how far the upload is didnt go up and after 5mins it said ok to disconnect. then i checked my ipod and none of the 5 songs/videos had uploaded. ive been trying to do this from 6am and now its 6:38pm and i still cant do it. this is sooo frustrating. please help me. my system is a windows XP and i have a 5th gen ipod video. thanx, rach

Connect your ipod to the computer. Open itunes and select preferences. then ipod> go to the video tab> is the "automatically update all videos" box selected. If not then check it and reconeect the ipod adn that should work. If the box is already checked then check the format of the video file to make sure its a comapatible format for the ipod which is .mov or .mp4.

Ipod wont restore plz help!!!

well after watching a few music videos on a road trip i turned off my ipod. Then the next day i turn it on and is says
"connect to your computer use itunes to restore"
so i do that and after it restores it says the same thing again and again and again it just keeps going through the same process i restore it then it says it has to be restored again? can someone plz help.

Some folks have had success from recovery mode loops by reformatting the iPod to FAT32, followed by a restore in iTunes, through Windows Explorer:
1 - Connect your iPod to your computer.
2 - When iTunes has finished syncing with your iPod, open "My Computer".
3 - Right-click on your iPod, and click on "Format". (If your iPod is not showing in My Computer, make sure that disk use isn’t enabled in iTunes).
4 - Here, verify that your formatting settings are "Default", with the format type set for FAT32. Also, make sure that "Quick Scan" is not selected.
5 - Then, click on "OK" to begin the formatting process.
6 - When this is complete (it might take a while), make sure to restore your iPod in iTunes again, so as to properly reload the firmware back onto it again.

I purchased a itouch 2g and i went to restore it and it wont boot plz help

i bought a itouch 2g model#A1288 and when i did a system restore on it because it had a bunch of junk on it it wont completely boot the apple logo turns to a skull and freezes please help i payed $200 for it off of some random guy so i cant get a refund

If you on OS X Mountain Lion, like if you purchased a recent Mac, you may need to head to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security > General and set the downloads to "Anywhere". to install software from the web.
Also you need to check the compatabiity of the program your downloading with the operating system version your running. There seems to be a hardware requirement/license also.

IMac Wont Boot [plz help]

Hey everyone, so I turned off my iMac two days ago (not a hard boot, I clicked on the apple logo top left corner then clicked Shutdown.) because I was really busy and not going to be home a lot. Now that i'm home I went to turn it on I get to the white screen with the Apple logo and then it goes to a darker greyer colour and I get this error

I have tried restarting my computer several times and I still get the same thing.

Ipod wont upload songs HELP!!!

My ipod used to be able to upload my songs automatically, now for somereason it my itunes says that "an ipod is not connected".
A method i would do before was to re-install the entired ipod/itune software onto my computer. After installing the ipod would go directly to the itunes and upload the songs. Now nothing happens and ive even tried uninstalling the ipod and my itunes.
does anyone know how to fix this or have any suggestions?

I recently updated my bios for the motherboard, and now I can't get the pc to post. Before I had the pc going but it kept getting gpfs and crashing to the desktop from games..
I was having problems with it not wanting to post before but I raised the voltage to my ram and fixed that, the problem is that when the bios got wiped from the upgrade it lowered the voltage on the ram..now i just cant get it to post at all..if anyone has any suggestions on how to get this powered up so i can change the voltage again please let me know

sapphire radeon 9800 pro

antec 430 watt 12v - 20a
i cant afford a new psu and i know this one is ok as my friend tested it in his identical system for 24 hours ..
my mboard just seems to refuse to post ..i upgraded my bios and the voltage dropped because the update sets the defaults back to default..
after i upgraded the bios, it posted once, i was in the bios and i saved some settings and restarted..i was going to go back and up the voltage on the ram again so that it would post (i had solved my problem similar to this earlier by upping the ram voltage to 2.75) but it was too late and after it shutdown it wouldnt turn back on
also, ive tried all 3 ram slots with the chip, and ive cleared the cmos with the jumper 3 times..

your complete specs may help .. if running two sticks of ram you could remove one stick ... you could also reset the bios using the clear CMOS jumper .. but without more detailed specs ppl will struggle to help you

ITunes 7.3.2 Wont Install, PLZ HELP!!!

After I have tried to run the setup from the download page, my computer (with SP2) opens a message box asking me to Run or Don't Run the unverified software. I click Run, and an error pops up saying C:\Documents and Settings\Kyle\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content IE.5\E0YKLO1C\iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 Application.
Then I have to click "Ok" and the whole process just ends right there.
Please direct me to a way I can download iTunes 7.3.2 or even an older version as long as it will be recognized by my computer!

ok iv just got this Ipod from my my uncle witch happens to be a mini.whan i got it from him it was dead so i put it to charge so i left it chargeing over night and when i come to check on it it still dead?? it jus starts up and shows a Caution sigh on a battery ?? iv treid several USB ports but same thing happens.

Let me tell you about my first visit to your new Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, in New York City (the “Big Apple”, ironically).
On May 4th 2005, while visiting, my mother presented me my Ipod. It’s a Pink Ipod Mini that she paid $199 (plus tax) for.
The day after the Fourth of July (of this year, 2006) I took the Pink Ipod Mini to the fabulous Apple Store on Fifth Avenue to show to a Genius at the Ipod bar, because, it hadn’t been working for a while. About 13 months after the purchase, my Ipod just stop working overnight, for no logical reason.
Your Genius explained to me very objectively and efficiently that the Ipod is working but the battery in it is not holding any charge, therefore the battery needs to be changed. I told him I would like it fixed and the Genius replied that it would cost somewhere from $50 to $70 to do that. I couldn’t really say anything, so he went on saying that for approximately the same amount I could replace my Ipod for the same kind of device (does that have “refurbished” written all over it?) or I could trade my Ipod in for a new one and get a 10% discount on the new one. Wow, really?
The thing is, I really like my Ipod and from my point of view, when you pay $199 (plus tax) for an Ipod, you expect it to work for longer than 13 months. To me, that unfortunate battery sounds as defective, but the Genius explained that I could have purchased an extended guarantee of an extra year for some $ 15 and he could replace the battery for free. I’m not a computer buff, I don’t need to update to the next best new thing every time it comes out, but I’m extremely careful with my electronics: they don’t get wet, they don’t fall, they don’t lay in the sun or in the bottom of my purse. I don’t need the guarantee because I know that I’ll take good care of it, and I trust that Apple is giving me a quality product.
So, because I was stupid enough to think that Apple would stand 100% behind its product and trusted I really wouldn’t need to guarantee my Pink Ipod Mini for 2 years (or longer) I just paid the price worth of $ 199.00 for it and figured it would be working properly, for far more then 13 months.
I was also going to ask some questions, I was shopping for a notebook and wanted to know more about the IMac, but I left the store crying. For no good reason, really, but it just stroke me as such an injustice that Apple could invest millions of dollars building the most outstanding computer store anyone has ever set foot on, but charge me $70 to replace the battery in my Pink Ipod Mini, that was obviously defective, if my idea of Apple standards are not wrong.
That same day I bought my HP notebook at a store on Fifth Avenue, trusting that if it’s stops working in 13 months, they’ll seriously look into it.
Never mind me, just an angry letter from a meaningless customer that has no reason to make such a big deal over a defective battery, that’s the way it was built to be anyway.
