Hi there,
I have the following problem. I have integrated into Captivate 8 a short video sequence in a slide. The Project is published as HTML5 file incl. Scorm 2004 Revision 4 in ILIAS LMS.
This all works great so far. I can see the video sequence on the iPad to play but only for one time. When the Videosequenz is finished the small panel in the video window can then no longer use.
My question are:
- Does anyone happen to have the same problem?

Wedding video was shot with iPad. MP4 video file was emailed to family member with PC. Family member can't view MP4 file in iTunes or Quicktime or Windows Media Player. How can we open and view this file?
If files don't play in either Apple or third-party media players then I would normally suspect that either the file containers or file data was corrupted during the transfer/email process. The H.264/AAC content recorded by Apple mobile devices should be compatible with any media player capable of playing MPEG4 AVC standard JVT project partnership files in MP4, M4V, or MOV file containers.

Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I've been having the same problem. It all worked fine in Edge Animate CC but as soon as I updated the files to 2014 version they stopped working. I have noticed the code in the HTML file is quite different to the older version and doesn't seem to include a Preload.js file. Can you please help as I no longer have the CC version.

How do I get mp4 videos to play in Dropbox on iPad2?

Dropbox and converting video files is new stuff for me, so this may be something simple I am missing. I converted 3gp videos to mp4 videos and copied them into my Dropbox on my PC. As expected, the videos showed up in my Dropbox on my iPad2. When I went to play the mp4 videos on the iPad, I got the same message as I did with the 3gp videos--"enable flash". Obviously, something is wrong. How do I get these mp4 files to play?
The mp4 videos also had a narrower frame, making the people in the video look skinny. Is that typical when you convert the 3gp file to mp4?

I am trying to play mp4 videos on Safari in iPad 2 (iOS 7.0.4). The video files are uploaded in AWS. Everything works fine with iPad Chrome Browser. My problem is the videos are not playing on Safari in iPad 2 (iOS 7.0.4). The same videos are uploaded in localhost are playing fine on Safari in iPad 2 (iOS 7.0.4).
Let me know the solution if some one knows.

I have a problem with my videos, well first of all I took videos with a camera for my school proyects and then I want to send those videos to my Ipad but there is a problem because when I tried to send my videos it said that those videos could not be synced and then I checked the video´s properties and it says that the format of those videos are .MP4 instead of the .mp4 format and i want to ask the community if there are other types of .mp4 formats and how I can send my videos?
Please reply because I really need those videos for my school proyect.

Is it possible through an AIR iOS app to download mp4 video files from a web server and save them on an iPad? These files would also be played on the iPad using the same app offline. If it is any code help would be very appreciated.

Converting MP4 video to download and play on ipad Air

I have a few MP4 videos that I want to download to my ipad Air and show as my video portfolio.
I have researched this and there are so many answers but none seem to work. (tried like 4 of them already and still choppy video!)
I can't seem to find the right format to convert the videos so they work!
My import settings on itunes are : AAC Encoder: iTunesPlus (128kbps (mono)/256kbps (stereo), 44.100 Khz VBR optimized for MMX/SSE2)
I have VLC to convert the videos to m4v format but when I load them into itunes and then into my ipad, they show but the playback is choppy and no audio.
If anyone out there can give me the right formula to use in my VLC converter I would appreciate it:
Encapsulation- MP4/MOV
Video-
Codec: H.264
Bitrate: ?
Frame Rate: ?
Resolution: Width: 1280 or 720?
Height: ?
Audio-
Codec: MPEG 4 Audio (AAC)? or MPEG Audio?

I am having the same issue using VLC 2.1.3 - video conversion from mpg to mp4 won't play in Quicktime and are choppy when played back on my iPad Air. I don't use iTunes to upload but access them directly with FileBrowser App.

Cannot synch mp4 videos from itunes to iPad with current verion of iOS 6

mp4 videos will not transfer from itunes to ipad 3 with the latest iOS6.

UPDATE: I backed up my phone, wiped it (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings), & then restored it through iTunes. For whatever reason, that seems to have fixed the problem. Movies now sync to my phone like they used to.
That process seems to have corrected 1 or 2 other minor issues, including one where iTunes was 'syncing artwork' for a long time on every sync.

In the past (I haven't tried it recently) I've used the camera kit to copy an MP4 film via an SD card to the iPad's Photos app and been able to play it on the iPad, but a film bought from iTunes didn't play (you can't copy content to the Videos app via the kit). Also the SD card needs to have a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the videos (and/or photos) underneath it with filenames exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus file extension.

No errors at all,, it's running smoothly without showing the videos which is the main part of the course
Tried both Safari & Chrome,, same results
I am using Captivate 7 with IOS 7.0.4 on my iPad
The files are play well when I view them from my Dropbox,, but once I upload and try to view them stand alone or through Captivate course they are not

i have synced a mp4 video file from iTunes to my iPad 4. If i start the app "Videos" i see my video, but the thumbnail of the video is the cover from a musicband. In iTunes i have worked the properties of the mp4 file and added the correct cover / thumbnail.
how can i force the sync, that the correct cover is on iPad ?
