MP4 Video stream problem

I am trying to stream video to my iPad from my NAS Drive. I have used HANDBRAKE to convert the video into MP4, but my iPad wont play it. what is the best format to convert to so I can stream from my NAS drive.

I'm experiencing a similar issue and it might be related. My current setup I'm using Netbeans IDE 5.0 beta. I've imported a working example from the J2ME Wireless Toolkit called "mmademo". This demo allows you select a midlet called "Simple Player". This simple player allows you to type in the address (httP://xxx.com/video.mpg) and playback that video in a form.
Like I said the demo works fine when run from the Toolkit. But when I run it from a new project I've created in Netbeans IDE I get the following error:
doRealize: UnsatisfiedLinkError java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no jmcustommpx in java.library.path
What I'm really trying to do is play back streaming video from a http source. My target platform is the palm os running IBM Everyplace Micro Edition that Palm has licensed.
Any ideas out there why I'm receiving this error message?

I have purchased new nokia c2-03, and i thought the phone would b awesome as its a nokia product. But this phone disappointed me a lot. The phone has good features being a low cost phone. But the main problem is it can't stream online videos. Its very strange to belive, i never thought that NOKIA could b so careless please nokia solve this streaming problem in next firmware update..

I Am Sorry. In fact had the DST setting to + 1:0 and I changed to 12:0 am; As the clock time was delayed, because in Portugal we are indeed in summer time!, I changed the time directly. Unfortunately the reminders remain with an hour of advance. The alarm clock that is set crescento for 7:15 minutes as the set initially and never changed. The first reminder has been set for the 7:15 but is now changed to 6:15 due to this error. Does anyone have any suggestions other than modify all reminders. I would add that the Firmware of the Nokia C2 03 est actualized to a V7.48.

Como a hora do relógio ficou atrasada, pois em Portugal estamos de facto na hora de verão!, alterei directamente a hora.
Lamentavelmente os lembretes continuam com uma hora de avanço.
A crescento que o despertador está definido para as 7:15 minutos como o defini inicialmente e nunca sofreu alterações. O primeiro lembrete foi definido para as 7:15 mas está alterado para as 6:15 devido a este erro.
Será que alguém tem alguma sugestão que não seja modificar todos os lembretes.
Acrescento que o Firmware do Nokia C2 03 está actualizado para a V7.48.

Shared photostream mp4 video sharing problem

Is anybody able to add an mp4 video to a shared photostream using the latest icloud control panel for the PC (3.0). Apple says mp4 files are compatible but they are filtered out of the results when I browse to the folder with them. The only ones I can add that I've found are .mov.

OK, I figured it out. There appears to be a bug with icloud control panel 3.0 that doesn't allow you to do step 4, bullet point 2 for mp4 videos; however, apple gives you an option to do step 4, bullet point one instead:
On a Windows computer
Select Photo Stream under Favorites in a folder window of File Explorer (Windows 8) or Windows Explorer (Windows 7).
Double-click the shared stream you want to add photos or videos to.
Click "Add photos or videos” in the toolbar.
In the dialog that appears, do either of the following:
Drag photos or videos to the dialog from another window.
Click “Choose photos or videos.”
Click Done.

MBP Retina video streaming problems

Does anyone else have video problems anytime they stream a video online? This has persisted for awhile. I assumed it had to do with OSX Maverick, so I gave it about 6-12 months to allow any patches/updates to remedy. I would assume it is a GPU issue or possible RAM.
Also playing locally from my SSD or even an external does not give me any issues. If I stream, however, I get a glitchy, striping across my screen. Sometimes it is vertical; other horizontal. Sometimes it will last just a few seconds and pass. Other times, I have to put the laptop into hibernate and then log back in. When it happens 2-3 times in a 5 minute YouTube video, that gets really frustrating.
Lastly, this is not isolated to YouTube, but any online video streaming. Hulu, netflix, news sites, etc.
Here are some examples of how it looks:

I have been charting it recently, and I think it may be due to heat. I noticed that it reaches temperatures upwards of 80ºC. Even when rendering video that seems a bit high. I am going to download a fan control app, and set them to kick in earlier and see if that helps or at least mitigates the issue.

Serious video streaming problems (ichat and slingbox)

My 1.8Ghz SSD Macbook Air (10.5.2) doesn't seem to be able to handle even low quality video streaming. After a few of minutes of viewing, the image on the Slingplayer or from incoming ichat conference starts freezing and the laptop becomes almost impossible to control (skipping cursor movements, incredibly slow typing on ichat).
I can see what happens to the CPU thanks to Menumeters: one of the two cores stops completely (0% activity), probably to avoid excessive temperature increase.
The bottom line though is that I can't use ichat video or my slingbox (both perform very well on my other Macbook).
Is there a way to fix this?

MP4 Video playback problem - any idea how to make it work?

Mp4 video files are working when opened from local filesystem but now working when opened from the web
Here is example:

Using above code will result in not playing the video file. Interesting think is that the same video file is played well when opening from local filesystem. Just download the file, change ns.play param to "not_working2.mp4"
ns.play("not_working2.mp4");
and see if it's working.

My first guess would be that you're running into a security/sandboxing issue. Can you send me your Flash Builder project file?

Nokia 6270 MP4 Video - Big Problem

Hello,
I've bought a Nokia 6270 a few months ago, and i still cannot get MP4 video to play properly.
I've figured out how to get MP4 videos to play, but no matter what bit rate i set it to, it lags behind the video.
I've even tried 96 kbps and 15 frames a second.
Has anyone gotten MP4 videos to play properly on the Nokia 6270? Without lag?
Is it a firmware issue? I am running firmware 3.69 on Nokia 6270.

just select any phone on the list it will detect ur phone automaticly and update it if it can b updated
hmm depends on wht software ur using really or camara settings and everything....

Video Streaming problem in ios 8.2

I have recently updated my ipad air to ios 8.2 and from then on the video streaming on any of the applications installed is not working at all. Whether its the app or video streaming on safari nothing is working. I've checked youtube applications and browser version and all other video streaming sites like vimeo etc, none of them are working. I've also checked apple TV, the video streaming on that is also not working. But streaming on my desktop PC is working just fine.
I've reset configurations, I've reinstalled everything, even then its not working at all. Anybody has any solutions.

IBook G4 video streaming problem

I wasn't quite sure which forum to post this in, so I chose this one because it's kind of an internet related problem.
Anyway, whenever I stream a video over the internet on my iBook G4 (1.33GHz 12" version) using either Safari or Firefox the processor temperature rapidly increases from around 50 degrees celsius (122 F) to 63.5 C (146.3 F) causing the fan to activate.
When watching a video saved on my hard drive the temperature barely increases, it just seems to be when I stream them online.
Any ideas as to why the processor gets so warm so quickly when streaming a video?

G585 Video Streaming Problem

Hello. I've got a Lenovo G585 that's about 4 months old. I've already had a few problems with it but they just seem to fix themselves.. But for about a month now, I go on youtube and try to stream a video, and my internet cuts off immediately! Literally. I can't go on any website after this, all I can do to fix this is turning my computer on and back on. I tried logging out but that doesn't change anything. It's very annoying because everytime this happens I have to drop everything I was doing to restart my computer. You could tell me "Just don't go on youtube" Buut I love youtube and I use it quite a lot. Please help! Thank you

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
What you're encountering is really weird as your internet connection just cuts off when you go to youtube. Perhaps you have a security software that automatically locks down your internet connection when you access certain websites? It'll also be helpful to know if your IP address gets change, the security software that you use, or the internet goes from Internet Access to Limited Connectivity during the incident.
Also, try to boot in Safe Mode with Networking and see if the problem persists (this will isolate the issue of a third party software that might be causing the issue)

E3000 video streaming problem

Hello, I just bought the E3000 router and I tried to set up a home network. I have a WD TV Live hooked up with a 150 Mbps wireless adapter (Airties 2310),when I try to stream 1080p (mkv, 10557 Kbps) video from my desktop which is connected by gigabit ethernet to the router there is a lot of stucking and skipping in the video. But if I connect the WD TV Live via ethernet the video plays perfectly even though it has lower bandwidth, but I just connected ethernet for testing, I cannot use it regularly. The WD TV is located in the next room to the router(about 15 meters of distance). Please help me solve this problem.

it can be 3 bars occasionally. Sorry for the delay of my reply I wasn't home for a while. Some body said that this might be caused by the network adapter, and that I should buy a 300 mbps one because mine doesn't fully support wireless n. I dont know if that is right. I tried to transfer data through the same desktop to a laptop with intel wifi link 5100, the speed was between 9 MB/s and 12 MB/s (the network status on the laptop showed 72 mbps but it supports 300 mbps). Maybe the router is faulty?

AirPlay video streaming problem

Hi,
Whenever I stream a video to Apple TV from either an iPad or iPhone (via AirPlay) the picture is slightly zoomed in on my television. This problem seems to occur on all video apps, e.g. YouTube etc., and I have experienced it on both the 720p and 1080p versions of Apple TV. I guess this is something to do with the resolution that the video is being streamed in?
I would be very grateful if anyone had any advice on how to solve this.

Managed to sort it out. The solution for anyone with the same problem is to turn your TV's "full pixel" mode on.

Sound and video streaming problem

My iPad has an intermittent issue, where the sound/clicker doesn't work, and video and music streaming doesn't work, or constantl plays-then the sond stops and streaming stops! Trying to press the volume buttons doesnt help as the volume icon doesn't appear straight away. Usually nothing happens when they are pressed.
However, all is fine when the iPad is charging!
I've tried updating and going back different iPad software versions, resetting the device. Now I am fully discharging the battery to see if a full charge up helps.
Anyone having similar problems , or suggestions to get this sorted?

Z3 video streaming problem

newly buy Z3 mobile videos not supporting the MP4. Please advice how to rectify.

Okay I really need help with this one! I will list my gear that works and the gear that does not. Hopefully this will work better then my other way of explaining...

. Toshiba $499 special celeron laptop Wireless "G"
. 2Wire supplied by ATT Wireless "G"
. Via network folder connection click on file I want to play very few stutters even with near (?) HD quality
Does not work:
. Time Capsule or iMac hosting files over "N" or "G" or cat5e to TC
. MBP or MB over wireless "N" or "G"
. Massive stutters and freezing
. Stutters even with MBP 6 inches from TC
. Stutters regardless if files are stored on the Internal drive or USB Drive
Networking hardware available to me:
. Time Capsule "N"
. Airport Express "N"
. 2wire "G"
. Air disc connected to TC USB
. USB drive connected to iMac
What I would like to do is get rid of the windows machines! I am willing to store the files on the iMac with connected USB drive or even better air disc USB to TC.
Please help even if its a little small suggestion! I really need to figure this one out!

Can you tell us the model of your phone? Any error message when playing videos? What website you are trying to visit when you stream videos? Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
