MPD and flash i conflict

I have this litle problem with mpd and flash.When i am listening to music from mpd flash dosn`t work.when i have luck just sound isn`t working.
But if i`m watching videos on youtube or have a chat msg on facebook mpd dosn`t work but after 10 - 15 minutes like nothing happend

I am a long time Camino user and today decided I wanted to try Safari again since I ran across a page that Camino didn't show the images on, but Safari did. So I was at Flickr and was looking at stuff a friend had on their account including a short video. But I couldn't play it saying I needed to update Flash. OK so I download and install the Flash plug in. Still no go, but works fine in Camino.
Anyway, to make a long story short, from another post here someone said to check that you had in the HD>Library>Internet Plug-ins folder these two files: Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. Yep, I have those, BUT I also had Flash Player Enabler.plugin with a date code of 2006. So on a whim, I moved it out to my desktop & restarted Safari. Dang if it doesn't work very nicely now.
So you might check to see if you have the same file lingering around in there that might be causing issues.

I have a problem with watching streams (television programs)
on the internet. I think this is caused by conflicting roles of
windows media player and flash player. When i don't have installed
flash player i can watch the streams. When i install flash player,
i see only green and red blocks on the respective screen. I don't
know where the problem lies. I have installed Windows Media player
again, (also Flash player) but this hasn't worked. The streams work
with Mozilla firefox.

Verify that Windows Media Player is not set as the default
player for all content in Firefox including Flash.
Also, please respond with a URL for testing.

[SOLVED] Problem with MPD and ALSA

Hello, I'm having problems with mpd using alsa output.
My alsa system works, I can play mp3 using mplayer -ao alsa, and flash plugin plays sound, my user (and also mpd user)is in the audio group.
But then mpd can't open the alsa device.
If I tell mpd to autodetect audio, it can't find anything:
(Running as root to see output, if using /etc/rc.d/mpd start, it just fails)

I tried with different device and mixer settings and the error is always the same. It can't open alsa device.

Check that mpd is really being run as the mpd user, and that id lists audio for the mpd user. Also post your whole mpd.conf and the output from amixer when running as the user you run mpd as.

It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.

Look at save_absolute_paths_in_playlists in your mpd.conf.

Adobe Reader 11.0.03 and Flash Player 11.8.800.94 Not Working on Windows 8

On a computer running Windows 8 Enterprise, Adobe Reader 11.0.03, and Flash Player 11.8.800.94, I am unable to open a flash-enabled PDF. Reader gives me the error "To view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat." Adobe's Flash verification page shows me that Flash Player is working, and I can open other basic PDFs in Reader. I have another machine with an identical setup, except that it has Acrobat 11.0.03 instead of Reader, and the PDF opens just fine on that machine. Why won't Reader open the Flash-enabled PDF?

Getting Big Headache, What is difference between Flash Lite 3.1 and Flash Player 7

Hello, I am asking questions about the two similar yet different programs for Pocket PC version only:
1) Which came first, Flash Lite 3.1 or Flash Player 7?
2) If I have both in my Pocket PC, will there be product incompatibility?
3) What is the difference between Flash Lite 3.1 and Flash Player 7.
4) I have a Flash Lite 3.1 but uninstall information says "Flash Lite 3.1 for Opera Mobile", did you releaase this? Is this an illegal copy? A developer's copy?

*I also use Opera mobile, a web browser for Pocket PC's.
5) What is difference between Flash Lite 3.1 and Flash Lite 3.1 for Opera? Is the only difference is that Flash Lite Supports everything flash related, while Flash Lite Opera supports only flash in opera?
Hi, I don't expect all answers, but I hope someone or someone from adobe support can clear some things up for me.

The program under my "remove programs" list is specifically called "Adobe Flash Lite for Opera". The XDA forums people said along time ago that it was Flash Lite, and kept calling it Flash Lite, and not Flash Player 7.
Now what about this:

The table shows the differences between FP 7 SDK, FL 2.1, and FL 3.1. And it's quite obvious that FL 3.1 has way more features than Flash Player 7. What does SDK mean? And why are you telling me FP 7 has more features?

Problem with Left Click (mighty mouse) and flash content

Hi, first sorry for my bad english...
Well I have an issue with the left click (i have mighty mouse) and flash content in Firefox:
if i'm using Firefox and then change to any other app, when i get back to firefox i have no left click anymore...
So i have to open the mouse setting panel and everything works fine again...
I don't want to open the mouse panel over and over again to fix that, so what i can do?

because if i use Safari and i try make what i describe in the first post, i don't have any problem with the mouse settings.

Problem with dreamweaver and Flash

Hi, maybe someone can help me, i have any problem with
dreamweaver and flash, i have a page and i have a menu and
sub-menu, and the same page i have a category en flash 550 x 700 (

the menu to see under flash and it cant see ( sorry my

This is a drawback of using flash or any other active
content. By default, all active content including flash will
display over every other content and thats why your menu stays
under the flash movie. Some people make the flash background
transparent to show content under the flash movie, but that will
not work for menu items.
I would suggest that you make the menu such that it does not
overlap with the flash movie.

I installed firefox beta 5 and flash crashed on every page so i reverted back to firefox 4 and now flash crashes on every page of firefox 4. how can i fix it?

Ever since i installed firefox 5 beta and the new version of flash, flash crashes on every page with flash on it no matter what version of firefox i run, and flash wont let me roll back to another version. I need flash for my work which is due by the end of the day so any help yall can offer is appreciated.

well i fixed this for a bit by reinstalling ff4 and restarting but now the firefox 4 that i re-downloaded continues to very aggressively update itself to 5 beta without asking me. it just notifies me once its done it telling me to restart and once i close firefox, boom. flash crashes every minute or so and freezes my computer. I love firefox. i have used it for years. but if no one can help with this problem or at least tell me how to stop firefox 4 from updating to firefox beta 5 im gonna go download something else because im losing money fighting with firefox to get my work done which is now taking 10 times longer to complete. i really want to keep using firefox but this is kinda ridiculous guys... I understand that betas have bugs but dont make me use it without asking me first...

Safari and Flash

Safari and Flash does not work correctly. I always have problems accessing flash sites, like this:

I think Apple must work with Macromedia to give us a better internet experience...

This also doesn't work with Firefox, Camino or Opera. That page also has a whopping 367 errors according to the web standards validation page (validator.w3.org).

And exactly the same for this. So, I'd say there isn't a serious problem with Safari and Flash, since they all fail in 3 other browsers as well.
Apple can only do so much with sloppily coded websites. If these sites want your business the onus should be on them to make them work correctly with as many browsers as possible. This is the real solution.

How can I use LCCS with ActionScript 3 and Flash CS4?

Using Stratus I was able to create an an application using Action Script 3 and Flash CS4. The sample code on the Adobe site was quite straight forward and easy to understand. I now want to switch over to LCCS but can't find anything any where on how to use Action Script 3 and Flash CS4 with LCCS. Do I need to know Flex to be able to use LCCS? Everything was quite simple and easy to understand with Stratus and makes complete sense. But LCCS is really confusing. Is there any sample code on how to establish a connection in Action Script 3 and then stream from a webcam to a client. There is nothing in the LCCS SDK that covers Flash and Action Script 3. Please help! I found the link below on some forum but it takes me nowhere.

Please refer to the SDK's sampleApps folder. There would be an app called FlashUserList. The app demonstrates how LCCS can be used with Flash CS4. Its a pretty basic app, but should help you moving.

You will need to apply for both Reader and Flash Player Distribution agreements if you intend on enterprise deployments of these products.

Multiple crashes fixed by turning off hardware and Flash acceleration; very slow now. Takes five seconds to exit and still listed as a running process

A workaround was suggested by a member of the community to turn off both hardware and Flash acceleration. It worked fine (no crashes since), but runs very slowly. In particular, takes five seconds to exit and is often still listed as a running process. Very slow in connecting to Web pages, and very slow loading them because of the graphics. Very slow in loading video. I expected slower responses, but this is REALLY slow. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 and an Nvidia GE Force 7800 graphics card with all the drivers updated and the plugins for Firefox mostly set on "ask to activate". Should I expect this much reduction in performance when the workaround I mentioned was put into place? If so, it's half a loaf at best. The only thing questionable is that I have two Youtube downloaders that I am trying, but I made the assumption that these were only applied when you downloaded something from Youtube.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes": do not clear the Cookies
If you clear cookies then Firefox will also try to remove cookies created by plugins and that requires to start plugin-container processes that can slow down closing Firefox.
Instead let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies.
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"
