Mpeg2 encodes have black at the bottom

Any Idea what could be causing this:
Only happens with mpeg2.
Only happens with Adobe Media Encoder 2014, CC is fine.
Mercury Playback Engine Setting makes no difference.
Size of black changes with frame size.
Have tried a re-install
Any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated.
1st pic is 576p and the 2nd is 1080p

This happened to me only once and a reset resolved it.
Try resetting your iPad again by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.

Hmm that does sound a bit strange - I use a system quite similar to yours (XP, FF 3.6.3), and don't see this behaviour.
I would recommend trying to start Firefox in Firefox [[Safe Mode]] (make sure you close '''all''' running Firefox instances first), and see if this problem persists.
If not, it could be some add-on causing this behaviour - restart Firefox in Safe Mode, disable all add-ons, and enable them one by one to find the guilty one.
If it still happens in Firefox Safe Mode, some other program (or something in Windows itself) most likely is the cause. We may be able to help with this too, so let us know what works and provide as much additional information as possible to let us help you solve this.

How to know when I have scrolled to the bottom of my advancedDataGrid

I need to know when I have scrolled to the bottom of my advancedDataGrid or when the last row appears on the screen. Is there anyway of getting this?
I tried to do it by the verticalScrollPosition, but I don't know how to find the maxScrollPosition.
Any help would be appreciated.

HT4059 The last three books I have downloaded at the bottom of the page the bottom parts of y,g,and j are appearing at the top of the next page. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

This problem just started. On the last line of each page if the letters y,g,p or j appear in the line the bottom part of each of these letters appears at the top of the next page while being chopped off the actual line it should appear in.

I thought I had found the offending 'app' namely "Songpop."
I regularly use "Songpop" on my phone late at night via my wifi connection.
All enteries on my phonebill are at midnight (even though I have a data allowance it was excluded from allowance). I switched 3G off on Friday, played "Songpop" at midnight and at the exact time I got a "Server Error" message.
I posted a message on the "Songpop" support forum.At first they said this was a problem relating to my ISP.
I have spoken to my ISP and asked if there are connection drops at the time I have been billed (ie to establish if my wifi dropped and 3G kicked in without my knowledge) and have been advised that there aren't any connection drops at that time.

I have an 11" Macbook Air. When I use Garageband it opens in a window so large that the bottom corner is not accessible so I can't decrease the window so that I can see the top and bottom of the window at the same time. Any suggestions?

You can reduce the window by grabbing any edge or corner. You don't have to use the bottom right anymore.
You could also temporarily move the dock to the left/right so you can reach the bottom.

I am on a job application wedsite powered by SuccessFactors. I have completed the application but cannot get back down to the bottom of the page for me to save and send the apllication. Please help. It took a long time to complete.

I have been to the bottom of the application site where you can hit either save and return later or apply. but now it stops before the end of the application and won't let me move any further down the webpage.

In the last 36 hours my photos have jumbled within various albums. Random photos have attached at the end of an unrelated album, old photos have appeared again on Recently Added, some photos are missing but still on "collections". No date order

Within the last 36 hours my photo albums have turned into a real jumbled mess. Random photos have appeared at the bottom of my Recently Added album. In most cases it's a copy of a photo that was taken months or years ago so now it appears twice.. 200 random photos have appeared in an unrelated album. Some photos are missing completely. The date order is correct in some places and then it goes back and forth over the months and years. The "collections" appears to be okay. This morning when I went into the photo app About 50 photos that were permanently deleted 3 months ago reappeared on the Recently Added Album which I deleted again. if I delete these irreplaceable photos from the unwanted album it will delete the photo completely. Help please - this is so annoying and frustrating. I hate to think when I turn the iPad on tmoor row what else will have changed .

Quick Update:
I usually have my Mac laptop up with Messages running on it. As you know, it will receive the same messages you send/receive on your iPhone. I thought all my old photos would be there too, but they have all disappeared as well except for the last few.
Messages is supposed to archive all old photos to a directory called ~/Library/Messages/Attachments. On my mac, this was a 0 byte file that was created back in Jan 2014. As a result, none of the old photos got saved on my Messages app either. I looked at a Time Machine Backup and it has been the case since September (no earlier backups available). So, it's unclear how long this issue has been going on for my Messages app and how related it is to my iPhone problem.
In any case, if any of you use Messages, you may be able to recover your photos in that directory provided it didn't get trashed like mine did. I moved the file and created a new Attachments directory. Upon relaunch, Messages started properly storing new photos in there again.
Either there was a really terrible bug in the Apple software or something malicious has happened.
P.S. I'm running OS 10.9.5 Mavericks. There is a thread of people with this problem on Yosemite here:

This seems like a pretty seriously terrible bug. I will be talking again to AppleCare on Wednesday and I hope they can escalate this.

I'm looking for screws for the bottom of my macbook pro unibody.

I need screws for the bottom of my macbook pro unibody. They started falling out after I upgraded my RAM, apparently they had some type of threadlock on them. Apple was of little help and directed me to a an apple store or service center which is not convienent. So far, I've been only able to find the 'old' pack of 5 screws, not the pack of 10 that my mac requires. I did find one seller on ebay advertising them but would like to avoid that path if possible. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

No this is not a common problem. Have you had the bottom off before?
The factory set screws you see a bit if blue lock tight which makes it more difficult the first time out.

How do I get rid of the tabs at the top of the page and put them back down on the bottom?

After installing updates the tab bar is at the top of the page. I want to have it on the bottom like it was before the updates.

Where would i get the little screws online for the bottom of my mac?

i sent my mac to get fixed buy apple over a year ago now most of the screws have come out the bottom and ive lost them? he probly didnt screw them in tight enuff? does anybody know where i can order some online with a little screw driver to?

had the same issue a couple of times - the first time, i went to the nearest Apple Store and was given the screws I needed for free.
the second time i needed a couple of the long screws - i went to an Apple Authorized Service Provider and again, I was given the screws for free.

Light bar at the bottom

My thunderbolt display has barely noticeable light bar at the bottom of the screen. Height of the bar about 2 cm.
This part of the screen stands out if the entire background is a uniform gray image.
The bar is also visible when the operating system is booted, while displaying a gray background.
I live in Russia, the city of Magnitogorsk. Bought display in Germany by mail for nearly a month ago.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Almost sounds like "LED bleeding or clouding" that many LED backlit monitors have when screen is dark. However, you only have it at the bottom. I have LED clouding around all the edges but only see it when no image is present. Not sure what your issue is.

If you are running iOS 6 or iOS 5, those apps are the recently used apps in the recents tray. You don't need to remove then from there, but if you want to do so, you have to close them. You do that by holding down on one of the app icons until they all wiggle, then tap the red minus sign to close the app. Do that to every app that you want to close. Tap the home button when you are done.

All windows go the bottom after awakening?!

This is odd, and I have gotten nowhere searching the discussions. I have my mini hooked up to a flat screen tv to serve as a media hub. When the tv goes to sleep and I awaken it, all of my open windows have moved to the bottom of the screen, with just enough of the top showing to drag them up for use. They're not minimized in the dock, they've just migrated down on the desktop.

Put the old memory back and test the computer. If it works with the old memory you have either not installed the new memory correctly or those modules are the cause.

Unplug any peripherals you have except your keyboard, reboot, and check activity monitor for apps. Keep running apps to a minimum to find the App causing the issue.
