MQSeries MDB doesn't received message in WLS7

Hi,
Per JMSProviders.doc I have configured the Startup class and deployed the Simple MDB.
The MDB gets instantiated but the Messages are not read from the MQSeries Queue.
Why this might be happening and how should I go about debugging this.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
I would suggest, if you haven't already, that you read thoroughly the documentation
available at:
http://dev2dev.bea.com/resourcelibrary/whitepapers.jsp?highlight=whitepapers
(JMSProviders.pdf)
Also, try reading through previous problems/issues that people have experienced
when utilizing MQSeries and WebLogic by typing "MQSeries" or "MQ" in weblogic.developer.interest.ejb
and weblogic.developer.interest.jms newsgroups. Good luck!

  • IPod doesn't receive  messages when turned off

I Own a 32gb 5th generation iPod. The version is  iOS 7.1.2   In the past month whenever I turn my iPod off it doesn't receive messages that have been sent to me. Sometimes when I turn it on I will get messages that weren't delivered that day, it will always be from exactly 6 days ago. I'm not really sure what could be causing it and I have not changed anything that would have caused it that I know of. The only way that this doesn't happen is if I leave my iPod on 24/7.

Are you powering the iPod off (Slide to Power off)?
Or are you letting the iPod sleep?
When powered off it can't receive anything.
    If just asleep see:

  • Whatsapp doesn't receive messages instantly

    Hello,
Recently, my friend's iPhone started to show problems within Whatsapp, not receiving messages even when she has opened the app to check out new messages. For example, when I send her a message at 10 a.m, she will not receive it even when she has opened the app. Then the app suddenly did receive the message at 2:30 p.m. The delay is kind of annoying as it's an instant messaging service and it just doesn't do its work properly.
The problems started to occur after she installed the new update. She has tried to reinstall the app, hoping to resolve the problem but that didn't work. I've tried to search for a solution on the internet, but most of them are describing problems about Notification problems, but not the messages themself. Her iPhone 4 is running on iOS5. My question is, have some of you encountered these problems as well, and if so, I would like to know how I can help her solve this problem.
I'll provide more specific information if needed, as I'm not sure for which part I will have to search right now.
    Notable information
    - this occurs mostly before 3pm, after this time, it seemed to be okay
    - App has been reinstalled to try to solve the problem
    - Firmware: iOS 5.0.0
    - Happens on both Wifi and Cellular network
Hope you guys will have an answer for this problem!

  • Can 1 MDB configured to receive messages from 2 Queues

    Hi,
Is is possible to configure 1 MDB to listen to 2 queues

Deploying the very same MDB twice is not a "trick" or unusual as your comment suggests. A MDB is a stateless component. It just receives messages. If you deploy the same MDB twice and link it to different queues, it is exactly as if one MDB where configured to receive from 2 queues.
So everything is possible with MDBs. You can consume from multiple destinations and can even mix queues and topics. The only thing you must keep in mind is that you have at least that many MDB instances (of the same MDB) as destinations (= MDB deployments). However, for scalability reasons you would have multiple MDB instances in most cases.
I don't see a reason why sombody should switch to a proprietary thing like your MDS and I don't understand why you mention this in nearly every post. Buy banner ads instead.

  • TS2755 iPhone 5 on ios7 doesn't receive messages from other iPhones when data is turned off

My iPhone 5 doesn't receive iMessages or texts from other iPhones when my data is turned off, obviously I do not expect to receive iMessages but I also cannot receive text messages. Text messages can be sent but not received. Text messaging to and from people with androids and blackberries is fine.

That is because iPhone users would be sending you iMessages. The only time you would receive them as a text is if they have theirs turned off, or it is set to send an SMS if iMessage fails. At some point you had iMessages activated, and if so, that is how the iDevices will send to you.

  • Upgraded to Yosemite, now mail doesn't receive messages

Recently upgraded to Yosemite on my late 2011 MBPro, now I can not receive messages through mail. I can send messages though. I also have outlook for Mac which is functioning properly.

Found what seems to be a fix.
    Go: Mail>Preferences>Accounts
Uncheck "automatically detect and maintain account settings"
    Check "allow insecure authentication"
Probably not the most secure fix, but all my selfies are already on the cloud anyway lol.

  • Oracle 10g AS 10.1.3 cluster : Topic MDB does not receive messages

    Dear experts,
We have the latest Oracle 10g AS 10.1.3 cluster, which consists of two nodes.
Background: Our application is a J2EE app extensively using JMS for communicating notifications between cluster nodes. It does work fine in standalone OC4J, clustered WebLogic and clustered SAP WebAS.
Application is deployed without any errors to Oracle AS. It works fine with 1 cluster node, it 'half' works when second node is added.
The cluster does recognize both nodes - we can administer and see them fine from the console.
The problem application experiences is this:
    1. The application MDBs do not seem to receive any messages sent from another node. Only messages submitted from the same JVM are ever seen. This leads to incosistency in server caches.
    2. JNDI tree updates made from one node are also not visible on the other and vice versa.
We tried it on a single physical server with 2 App Server instances and on 2 physical servers.
I followed standard instructions on how to configure clustered environment - basically all we could do after we installed two instances was we turned on the PEER clustering for our application.
Firewalls are also turned off on both servers.
I would really appreciate any piece of advice because we're really stuck at this point!
    Thank you!

    Hi Peter,
Can you just install 10.1.3 on top of another AS installation? You can't install an Oracle Application Server on top of another version. The 10.1.3 install needs to have its own Oracle Home. However, you can configure a 10.1.3 install to use OHS 10.1.2 and to use OID 10.1.2 as its identity management store.
Can you install 10.1.3 standalone?Absolutely. You can download it from:

  • MDB is not receiving message every time

I am using OJMS for messaging, I created three queues and three MDB's for queuing and dequeuing Some time it will work fine some times it will not receive my message if i check in queue table there is no message for my queue but some message is there for exception queue which is created by default.
Can any body throw some light on this???

Could you attach the bean definitions from ejb-jar.xml and orion-ejb-jar.xml?
Also, the JMS resource entry in the application.xml?
Are your queues running all the time?
Have you got listerner-threads configured in your orion-ejb-jar.xml? Remember that for MDBs, OC4J does not recognise max-instances/min-instances setting, you need to use the listener-threads setting

I need help setting up my daughters iPod. She has been using her iPod touch for 6 months using my ID. This caused a problem now that she is a bit more savvy and has learnt to message and FaceTime. I get her calls and she gets mine. I have set her up her own ID with iCloud but when I go to settings for FaceTime and messaging I can't erase my ID. So the problem is not really solved. She will have to access iTunes through me as she doesn't know my password and any games etc have to pass the mummy test. Can anyone help?

Thanks.  I have my iPad on my lap and her iPod in my hand. We can FaceTime each other but it won't let either of us message each other. I know mine is activated as I use it frequently. I have activated hers as well. Maybe I will put it in the too hard basket for tonight, sleep on it and try again tomorrow.

  • IMessage doesn't receive messages when on airplane mode

Okay so here's the issue I have here, I'm using an iPod touch 4G that's running on iOS 6.1.6. I like to put my iPod on airplane mode when I'm not using it, so it's always on airplane mode at night. Usually, until last week, all messages sent to me on iMessage while I was on airplane mode would be received when I took my iPod off of airplane mode so that I could read them and reply. Since last week, I've run into a problem where I only receive the latest 3-4 messages sent to me on iMessage and none of them from earlier.Or I receive no messages at all, only to find out later that I have received a lot from friends. I know that this has to do with putting my iPod on airplane mode, I have reset all my network settings but the issue is still present. I'm confused as to why this problem has just popped up because I have done this for a really long time and no issues came up until just a week ago. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If I am connected to Wifi and send an iMessage to a party that is not connected to the Internet then he doesn't receive the message. How do I force my iPhone to send an SMS instead?

It is an interesting option but I am not sure how it works. I disconnected the other party Wifi and 3G on the iPhone, iPad and computer. I sent the iMessage 15 minutes ago and it doesn't give the small foot print "delivered" but equally said I didn't get the RED exclamation mark on the right hand side of the message in BLUE. So we know that the message was sent but not delivered. I don't seem to have the option of sending by SMS when I tap on the BLUE message and hold.

Sounds like your friend didn't disable iMessage on his/her iphone before switching.  Have your friend do the following:
    Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
    Click on "edit products"
Click on the "x" to the right of his/her old iPhone.
    Click "unregister"
This should unregister it with the iMessage server, which will allow you to send texts as normal SMS.
On your iPhone make sure you have Settings>Messages>Send As SMS set to ON.
