Sir kindly help me. i have VS.Net 2003 and Oracle 8.05. i am working on client machine. i have succeed in connecting with Oracle Server. But the problem is that server is not allowing me to insert any value and VS.Net 2003 is not allowing me to see its design time as it does not support old version of Oracle. WHat should i do? i want to use OLEDB not ODB.Net bcoz i have not Oracle 9i and here is already a system is working in Oracle *,05. so i can convert it to Oracle 9i. SO i have to work in Oracle 8.05. This is right provided you have installed the webserver & app server
on the same machine and the port number for the web server is 80 by
default.

NO_MORE_CMS_HOSTS error in Dashboard

Dear Team,
I have created a dashboard on IDT using SQL server and SAP ERP as data sources. Dashboard was running fine but some hours back it started to throw the error. The error appear whenever I query IDT from dashboard or create/modify the connection through Query Browser component.
The IDT is working fine and is successfully fetching data from both sources. Please find below my environment:
SAP BI 4.1 SP03
IDT uses ODBC connection to fetch data from SQL Server.
IDT uses Jco Client to fetch SAP data.
Urgent reply is needed as I have to meet the deadlines. Also, attached is the error for reference.

>>Go to Server->Data Federation Service.
>>Try to restart the Adaptive Processing server.
>>If doesn't start then, Go to Manage->New->New server.
>>Select Service Category as Data Federation Service and click Next.

Creating custom Column in IDT 4.1

Hi All,
I am using SAP IDT 4.1 SP03 to build a business layer over a SQL Server database using relational connection.
I having a single table named CUSTOMER and it contains Customer ID, Customer Name, City, SubscribeForEmail and date column. I want to filter the data on specific date range to view the data on below format:
City
Total Customers
Customers subscribed for email only
I have created the measure in business layer and filter customer count based on subscribeforemail flag. But IDT is showing invalid data. For ex:

I have created two measures in business layer based on below format:
Measure1: Total Customers = Count(DISTINCT Customer_ID)
Measure2: Email Customers = Count(DISTINCT Customer_ID)
                                                   Where SubscribeForEmail = 'Y'
The query generated is:
SELECT
     Table_3."City",
     count( Distinct (Table_3."Customer_ID")),
     count( Distinct ( Table_3."Customer_ID"))
FROM "Customer" Table_3
WHERE
(Table_3."SubscribeForEmail" = 'Y')
GROUP BY 1
ORDER BY 1
Here, the issue is WHERE clause is applied on BOTH columns whereas I want to apply it on one only.

How to do a Khan Academy video within or uploaded to Adobe Captivate?

Hi wondering if anyone has uploaded a Khan Academy type video into Adobe Captivate, or what was your process and what tools did you use? This would be an eLearning module with content first then with a virtual learning blackboard video (Kahn Academy) then more content. Thoughts? Thanks for your time

This is one way you could do it: PhotoPresenter Animated Slideshow Themes. The thumbnails can be as small as you'd like. This way none of the video files have to load before they play button is selected. Otherwise the page would take forever to load.

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried.
1. If you've recently plugged anything into the audio-out (headphone) port, plug and unplug it a couple of times.
2. From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Sound ▹ Output
Check the settings. The internal speakers should be selected as the output device, the Mute box should not be checked, and the volume slider should be at least halfway to the right.
3. Look inside the headphone port. If a red light is coming from the port, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a headphone mini-stereo jack of the proper size.Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
4. Boot in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime. It will take much longer than usual. You don't have to log in; just reboot as usual (without holding any keys) when the login screen appears. (Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode.)
5. Reset the NVRAM.
6. Reset the SMC.
7. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data as a precaution. You won't need your backup unless something goes wrong.
8. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to bare metal from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

Why is the programming code showing on Khan Academy website when my daughter is logging on to do her math homework?

My daughter is required to go into this web site (Khan Academy) to do her homework and to study for Algebra. When she logs in and goes to her particular assignment, the screen comes up in just actual code (see below).
Anyone else get this or know how to get the web site to run the scripts correctly????

Bin Sequence - Physical Inventory at Warehosue level

Hi Gurus,
While printing the physicla inventory document, we wanted to get the print in a sequence as teh bins are set up. Is there any setting for this purpose?
I found a note 142551 for the same but it i stoo old (1999) shouldn't it be already implemented in ECC 6.0 or we should implement it ?
Please advice.

Check out whether in this printing report you can define your own sequence "RLLI0400", take the help from technical expert.

Supply quantity isn't being considered in min-max planning report Oracle

Oracle 12 Issue:
system isn't considering the open PR/PO while suggesting re-order quantity in new PR of same item code. I am giving all parameters with "Yes" except include non-netable parameter with "NO". I take system current date as default date for "Demand & Supply cutoff date".
Please help me to resove/identify this issue.

Issue #1:
Need by Date on the purchase order/Requisition line is after the supply cut-off date entered by the user (or defaulted) when launching the Min-max planning report.
Fix: Please re-launch the Min-max planning report with higher supply cut-off date.
Issue #2:
Destination type stamped on the purchase order line / distribution is Expense.
Since it will not affect the on hand quantity for the item, the Min-max planning report is ignoring this purchase order.
Fix:Please retry with a new purchase order with destination type set as Inventory.

Use of Checkbox in Report for calculation and determine checked records

Application Express 4.0.1.00.03
I have a Report based on Invoice table which displays unpaid Invoices.
Also I have added one check box (Not a column in Invoice field) to each row of the report query, the user will be check to pay the Invoice, on checking of the Invoices I need to
1. Calculate the total of Invoice Amount for selected Invoices.
2. After selection of Invoices User will click on a Button which will open the Payment Form (New Page or Same Page Region),
but some way I need to know the Invoice No. of each Invoice row selected so that I can use all the selected Invoice No's for creating the Payment.
3. Any way to add a button on each row of the Invoice that will be used for the Payment of that Invoice only.
One way can be to create a column to save the check box value which I am aware of, but am looking for other alternate if possible.
Hoping for some good solution.

Hi / Salam To all SAP Members,
I am creating a COGS report in which i need to show opening and closing values for a stock account in two separate rows. The tool i am using is report painter.
What i need to know is how can the system identify between opening and closing values for that account? Which characteristic/s do i need to include in the rows? The table i am using is FAGLFLEXT.
