MRP Cancel Process message 20

Hello,
As I know when MRP run system will propose the cancel process message 20 based on planed delivery time and PO delivery schedule.
For ex: for one material planned delivery time is 60 days, PO delivery schedule time is around 6 months from current date due to this reason system showing for one existing PO saying that cancel process message 20
Again I have changed the PO delivery schedule up to 5 months from current date in this case system overwriting then it is not showing the cancel process message 20. only it is showing schedule change
So what I want to know is how system is calculating for this is there any specific formula or how this is to be analysed

Exception message 20 is for Excess planning/stock for the required segment
The Exception message 20 is given to the first available procurement element that falls after the date the planned stock becomes excess and that can be fully deleted without causing stock shortage.
Just check what is your MRP type ? and you have any requirement falls on that particular delivery date of PO

Thanks for your reply.Yes it is an IDOC based scenario. But Idoc is in outbound side. Idoc processed successfully in ERP as well as PI processed successfully to MDM.Messages processed successfully in SXMB_MONI but once imported in MDM IS, then acknowledgement will be send to PI.My issue is:- MDM server is down and i want to cancel these messages.

Number of Entries Displayed: 0
Number of Queues Displayed: 0
But in SXMB_MONI there 5000 'Scheduled Outbound Processing Messages'
when i am trying to Cancel the message following message popup
' You cannot cancel XML Message' - when status is in 'Scheduled Outbound Processing Messages'

I'd like to clean up some outstanding error messages in SXMB_MONI but when I try to 'Cancel processing with errors' I get a message stating 'Can not cancel XML message with this status/type' The status is 'System Error - Restart not possible' Message no. XMS_ADM108
Can someone tell me how to get around this?

We cannot cancel Successfully processed messages.
However you can configure Archiving and/ or deletion of successfully processed messages to remove the entry from the DB

No Disk error/Exception Processing Message keeps appearing

THIS IS A BUG!
When I have a song listed in itunes but it can't find it on my hard disk, I get the message:
WINDOWS - NO DISK

CANCEL TRY AGAIN CONTINUE
This used to cause my system to HANG everytime it appeared. (Needed a COLD REBOOT.) I reinstalled itunes and now it doesn't hang, but the message shows up frequently! What a pain!

I get this same message every time I start iTunes. It started happening after my most recent update of QuickTime. I have removed and re-installed both iTunes and QuickTime but I continue to get this exact error message.

If I click any combination of the three buttons many times it eventually goes away.

Exception processing message error cannot open illustrator

I have Illustrator CS4 running on a PC with double quad processor and 4 Gb or RAM, running on a XP-Professional platform.
I have had a lot of problems with all sort of crashes, which have delayed my due date for these projects and no answers on any of the reports I have sent.
Anyways, today I came and turn on my computer and when trying to launch illustrator this error appears.

It comes with 3 options Cancel Try Again and Continue
If I select Try Again it continues poping up at forever basis.
If I select Cancel just kills the opening of the program
If I select Continue, the message repeats itself several times until the program opens, but then once I'm working on the file, another message appears saying, FILE NOT READABLE.
I have more than 200 Gb free on disk and I have not moved any file from it's original location.
I am just one step of getting fired if I cannot complete this task by the end of today and the program is killing me, please help how can I fix this problem?

It is running in a 64bit OS, not 32, and amazingly all the programs work just fine exce

The CPU Usage is about 24% Max.... when doing tasks
And the PF Usage is no more than 1.13 GB RAM Which should be more than enough to handle the program don't you think?
I wonder how the people using the minimum requirements work with way less problems than these?
Yes, it should be a dll problem, I wonder how can I fix it.

Exception Processing Message - Help

Hello, I have Quicktime 6.5.1, I just checked. I tried to get 7.o once but it was not successful I guess. OK here is my problem when I click on a video to open it up I get this message ''Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c'' in the bar it says ''Windows - No Disk'' I cick cancel & its up again so I click cancel about a million times & the video Pops up, so I click cancel a million more times & the error message finally goes away & the video plays fine. How can I fix this?

Also I was having trouble with some videos not working saying the had an input/output error but that was somehow connected with the fact that I needed to take ownership of my files because I was getting ''access denied'' on lots of my photos but that is now fixed.

For the "No Disk" with QT 6, if I can remember correctly. In C:\Documents and Settings I think it is a QuickTime qtr file. Right click on it, go to properties. At the bottom of the window that comes up, under Attributes: you need to check or uncheck Read-only, I forget, but its one or the other

As I turn on i-tunes on my computer, I've suddenly started getting the following message displayed.

I can continue into i-Tunes if I select "Continue" (rather than Retry or Cancel. However, everything I then try to do in i-Tunes is prefaced with this message. Anyone got any suggestions as to how to get rid of this annoying problem.

mass data and XML is a known issue. To process such data the complete DOM is built in memory by MII. If you want to fight this issue with
resources the only chance you have is that you use x64 Windows Server für MII with several GB for the JVM. Typically you could try to give
the JVM a heap size of 3GB/4GB (keep increasing till it works :-). Though this is architectural not a nice solution, so you should send, for
example, the message zipped and base64 encoded. This message could then be received by MII and saved to a file. Decoding and dezipping
this file should be done on file system such that a decoded and dezipped file is created. Then you can process this file with a custom action.
Remember that you will face the same resource problems in your custom action. The solution is to use an event driven parser like SAX to parse
the file and do the inserts in JDBC batch mode. With this procedure you can guarantee that a fixed amount of memory is used when parsing
a big XML file.

RSXMB_CANCEL_NO_COMMIT_MSG -cancel the message processing for messages without commit.
RSXMB_CANCEL_NOT_REST_MESSAGES - Cancel Xi messages with errors that cannot be restarted
but then no result selected. i need to select manual those message and cancel using cancel button.
please advise.

I am having the following error in the workflow. Actually the WF was working fine and the past few days i am getting this error.

Actually the error occurs in the sub WF, in the method cancel invoice. it has one return variable the l_return but the method is not returning any value. The step is a background step.
The error is

Diagnosis
The workflow runtime system has called an application method in a tRFC or background context. A message was processed within this application method. This results in work item processing being terminated in this context.
The processed message has the following parameters:
ID: CRM_ORDER_MISC
Type: E
Number: 106
System ResponseThe workflow runtime system has recognized this status and has caught the message. The status of the active work item is set to 'ERROR'.
Procedure
Identify the message statement in the application method and replace it with the command "Message....Raising". If the method is part of the standard shipment, create an OSS message for the relevant application component.
Procedure for System Administration
Once you have corrected the method, restart the workflow instance concerned by using Workflow administration.
I started the WF from SWPR still the error persists. I dont know whether the error is in the method or in trfc.
Kindly suggest what to do.

MRP Procurement process

Hello Team ,
I am looking for the correct SAP business practice of MRP procurement process for existing setup.
Current setup : Demand is based on the sales / market demand based on which material is planned . Sales order / Production order are posted which created demand and the daily run MRP creates PR which goes for Release strategy . Once PR is released , then PO is created . As the demand fluctuates , some of the PR's get deleted by the new MRP run. Release strategy exist for MRP PR's greater than $X i.e.PR created more than X $ only will go for Release strategy .
Current Issues : PR created with MRP less than X has no release strategy , and buyer converts the PR into PO . With the new MRP run , PR gets changed and has $ value more X value which now has Release strategy determined in PR . So now the issue is that the PR is unreleased & PO is already created .
Business wants to keep changing the existing PR after MRP run as they don't want to overstock parts for which the demand did not exist .
I am sure there are lot of other companies who will have this constraints from business demands and wanted to confirm how the MRP settings are maintained for PR .I am open to have new process also to fix this issue.

Well it sounds like the demand plans (independent requirements) are not credible to the raw material planners/buyers. They think its unrealistically high and are balking at buying the raw material quantities that MRP calculating.
MRP will automatically control stock levels through the safety stock.
There is no point in rejecting P reqs generated from MRP without addressing the safety stock and /or demand. MRP will just replace the requisition quantity on the next run. This will cause purchase requisition quantities to 'stack up' at the start of the time horizon.
To have a bit cleaner process, you could try introducing a planning time fence. Requisitions within the fence are fixed. New requisitions are scheduled after the time fence. MRP will suggest cancelling requisitions if demand drops. The planner can adjust requisitions within the time fence manually if needed. Planners need to be able to do this - it's a big part of their jobs!
Another thing you can do is keep the replenishment proposal as planned orders for as long as possible (via the opening period). Only have requisitions created for a short horizon during which purchasing will quickly turn these into POs.

Material document cannot be processed ( Message no. M7130 )

Recurring inspection lot is created automatically through tcode QA07.
But i will cancel the recurring inspection. it is stock relevant, because i cann't cancel directly from QA02> function> cacel inspection lot. So i was reversed the materials document which created when the inspection lot makes automatically through tcode MBST.
And i make the error message.
Material document cannot be processed
Message no. M7130
Diagnosis
This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System Response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.
How to reverse the materials document??

what do you actually want to cancel? it looks like your inspection lot and the usage decision is done. What was the result of this usage decision? and how do you want it to be?
As you already know, a movement created from Q-module cannot be cancelled in MM with MBST.
so you need another movement created from QM module to make a transfer posting into the opposite direction.
Maybe it is easier for you to create a new inspection lot manually and process another usage decision, than going thru a cancellation process.

Report for canceling schedules messages

Hi all,
I have a lot of Messages (>120.000) with status scheduled in sxi_monitor and I want to cancel the processing of this messages.
I know the button in sxi_monitor to cancel the processing but is there any alternative to this button like a report?
The cancelation with the button needs to much time.
