MRP scheduling at the back ground??

Can somebody explain me how to set MRP to be scheduled at the back ground.
Step by steps activities for this and if any ABAPer help we have to get , mention that also.

Thanks for ur response.
But i have gone through, still i need some clarification.
Whethere in satandard SAP system there no possibilities to do MRP scheduling at Back ground at MRP controller level.
What i m asking , i have one company code , 4 plants , i have only one MRP controller.
Using that controller i have to do the MRP setting at background (Automatic).
Note: One MRP controller is used for every material type , hence we have only one MRP controller.
For abouve requirement ,suggest how to proceed furthere .

As i told i am maintaining the periods as 5-4-4, So i want schedule the job as first after the 5th week, then after the 4 th week, then after the 4th week and again after the 5th week ...... like that....
can we schedule the job in back ground as per this periodically???

If I merge libraries and then back the merged libraries up onto an external drive or DVD, do I just back up the libraries themselves, or do I also back up the original files?
If you're running a Managed Library, then backing up the Library also backs up the original files.
I ask because my HDD is getting pretty full. I want to reduce the amount of stuff on it, and the iPhoto libraries are the biggest single consumer of space at the moment (Nearly 100GB).
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

P.s. If you're running a Managed library, then it's the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing
If you're running a Referenced Library, then you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced and iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing.

Error while activating ODS is not caught in the back ground job..

Hi All,
We have a back ground job to load data to ODS and to activate it..If there is any error while loading or activating the data, back ground job is going into loop instead of cancelling the job..As the job is going into loop we are unable to trace the error unless we cancel the job manually and checking it..We have switched off displaying any messages while doing the back ground job...also we can not set any time limit for the job as it always depends on the volume of the data.
My requirement is , back ground job must get cancelled if there is any error while loading the ODS..Can anybody suggest any idea on this..

Hi Uma,
A few hints for running and schedule and monitoring process chains:
- always schedule the process chain in tcode RSPC
- check the log in RSPC for error messages, or
- check BW monitor for the ODS concerned (tcode RSMO, tab Details)
if anything is not working fine, the status of the corresponding load will show you the errors, warnings ...
either in RSPC - log or RSMO.

-- Now i want to create a Variant for the Main program and generate the back ground job using the SM36 Tcode
-- Finally it has all the jobs of the main program
-- Program is working fine from the Frontend only.....

On SM36 when you schedule jobs, you will see options like AFTER EVENT and AFTER JOB. You can use these to schedule you jobs accordingly. Else you can also think of making each of these jobs as a steps in one single job if your requirement allows you to do the same.
In case of using events, you should make sure to raise the event using available FMs.

Pop-Up in the back ground

Hi All,
        I have a program in which I am using a FM to give pop-up.
        The program is cheduling in back ground.
         I am getting an error at this function module saying that
         Input is not provided.
So Can we use this type of pop-up FM in the back ground scheduling programs or not?
If anyone has faced same problem please help me out.

i think u wont be able to use such programs in backgrnd..
coz one a pop-up occurs there is some user interaction like save, cancel etc..without that acknowledgement program wont move further.

How to suppress the back-ground execution of a query in design mode

hi guys,
there is a bahaviour of the system, that I'd like to change. So, when we
1. start EXCEL
2. go to the designer mode to create a report
3. first drop an InfoProvider (e query) into a cell,
4. second - pull e.g a filter element into another cell, still being in the design mode.
Just in this moment, the query itself has been already started in the back groud, aiming to fill the cache, I guess.
Does anyone know how to suppress the back-ground execution? I'd like to control, when to start the reports execution.

There is no way to do that if you are creating thru BEx Analyzer.
Instead use the BEx Analyzer, try to create using directly BEx Query Designer.
In that way, the query will not be executed, until you want to...

I'm afraid your question is not clear. If you don't want music playing, close iTunes. If the music is on a web site that you are visiting, mute your sound - System Preferences>Sound>mute.

In general this will depend on your theme. But this CSS would work:
body {background-color: #E3E3F0;}
It changes the body tag, which is the whole page to a specific RGB color.

Hi Raj,
1. If the attribute change run is triggered through process chain the job name is 'BI_PROCESS_ATTRIBCHAN'
2. If the change run is triggered from RSA1> tools?Appl Heirarchy/Attribute changerun then the job name starts with BI_STRU*
3. If you trigger the program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN from SE38 then the job name will be RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN

Firefox is running in the back ground, how can I turn it off to reinstall it?

I tried to get into the save mode but Firefox still will not come up. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled and still I can not get Firefox to come up on the screen. But when I shut down my computer it says it is running. It must e running the back ground. Please help me get Firefox working again. I think this is a Mozilla Problem because I did not install addons, etc.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
