MRP Views not able to extend

Hi
I had material type FERT/ROH
Material was created with Basic data/sales org views.
when i tried to extend MRP/Costing views not able to extend in MM01/MM50.
I checked in SPRO->logistics general->material master ->material types->define attributes of material types user departments there for FERT/ROH-- MRP/workscduling costing views are selected.
what is the possible reasons.

Hi,
I keep getting the warning "Segments Not Able to Extend Count". When I query dba_segments, there is no segment where extents is anyhere near max_extents. Am I doing an incorrect analysis? what should I be looking for?
Is there any documentation that outlines the queries run by Grid Control to arrive at a certain value, for its out of the box monitoring?

I had confused the metric "Segments Not Able to Extend Count" with the metric "Segments Approaching Maximum Extents Count". It seems as if Grid Control is calculating the size of the segment's next extent, and checks whether there is enough space in the tablespace to hold that next extent. The metric is completely unnecessary on our system, since we are using auto-extend on all of our tablespaces. This is not taken into account by Grid Control.

How do I set metric "Segments Not Able to Extend" which is under "Tablespaces with problem segments" category? Its current status is "Not set". When set, will it email an alert?

You should be able to set this metric in
Preference => rules=> Database Availability and Critical States (edit)
OR
under Metric and setting for the individual target database.
The value should be set to > 0
It sound like someone created a rules called "Tablespaces with problem segments"

Not able to extend the disk partition in our server 2008

Hi all,
extend the partition but t it not able to do that.We are using the windows server 2008 in our setup. one of my exchange server I want to extend the partition. I had already extend the partition but now its not able to do that and shows the below error.
in the diskmangement view I can see the partition in splitted format when ever I previously extended it shows the same( I extended 3, 4 times). is it ok to delete the Splitted partition?

When the unallocated space is not behind the assigned partition, you cannot directly extend your wanted partition in Disk Management. That may be why you’ve failed at first.
But, without using disk management tools, you also can try to extend your partition with partition resizing software within several steps.

SAP HANA Attribute View- Not able to add objects

I've created one attribute view in Modeler Perspective.
Trying to add tables on data foundation using "Add Objects". But when table name is entered in pop-up window, it hangs (not-responding). And error log got created as below.

The log seems that connection is closed. Is it true? Did your system restarted?
What happens if you close the studio, open it and try again?
Are you using same revision Studio than the database?

Material Master MRP View not be created till Basiv View is created

Hello All,
I need an information where i would like to know if an MRP view in a Material master can be restricted without the creation of the Basic View. Basically an MRP view is getting created even though the Basic View of material master is not there and it needs to be stopped.

If you want to prevent end users update other material master views , you can apply the concept of SAP note 545380 - FAQ: Authorizations material master , with this you will not more problem with this kind of problem.

Not able to extend volume in Windows 2008 R2 Sp1

Hi,
I have increased the capacity from IBM storage and it appear as unallocated space in disk manager but when I tried to extend the volume through disk part it's giving me error " you don't have 1 MB free disk space available to extend this volume"
Disk Type: Dynamic
Partition Style: MBR
Capacity: 2813952 MB
Unallocated: 716802 MB
Reserved Space: 0 MB

Not able to find the source requirement of MRP RUN-(planned order)

Dear All,
Actullay In MRP run system is generating 10000 qty in planned order but in MD61 there is only 3000 qty and no sales order requirement also exists for the same. And when i rerun the MRP by choosing option 3 in planning mode, then also it is generating the planned order for 10000 qty only but Iam not able find out the base requirement for that. Kindly suggest me the solutions.

Not able to view Stamps in all .pdfs

Hi Adobe Community!
I'm not able to consistently view stamps in pdf's I have to review, both directly on the browser and on the application.
Before understanding stamps were an Adobe feature, I uninstalled and installed different version of Java (currently 1.6.0_41), Internet Explorer (currently IE8). When I understood it was Adobe, I installed the latest version (11.0.2), but still it does not show in all pdf's. I have Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bits SP1.
I know stamps are in a certain pdf because a colleague of mine can see them displayed once he opens the file. Opening the exact same file, I don't see them. On another pdf, I can see stamps. The only difference I find between both pdf's, is that the one where I can see stamps is "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)", and the one I can't is "PDF Version: 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)".
Is there any Acrobat compatibility plug-in I'm missing? What can be the reason?

Not able to view CrystalReportViewer in Azure Application.

We have an application which was developed in VS 2005 with .Net framework 2.0 and crystal report version 10.
We have migrated this application to azure using VS 2013 with .Net framework 4.5 and crystal report version 13.2.
We have included the Crystal report msi in the package for deploying it on azure.
We have used the CrystalReportViewer on one of the page in our application to view the reports but we are not able to view it.

Not able to view catalogs in CCM after clicking on "edit catalog"

I am not able to view a single catalog (supplier, procurement or master) in CCM after clicking on edit catalog.
After clicking on "start" pushbutton, it is giving warning message "Error while editing Master catalog"
Could anybody tell me, what would be the problem ??

but this problem is only for my user ID and not for all other user ID.
when we tried with other user IDs, all the catalogs are in green state and working fine. For my ID I am not able to view any catalog into edit catalog screen. When I am trying to search any catalog it is giving me warning message "Error in master catalog". When checked in SLG1 I got error as "catalog (catalog name) not found".
Is it related to any user setting or like that... as this is the issue with my individual ID.
Please suggest.

Not able to view PDF in Safari 6.0.2

Hi,
Not able to view pdfs in my Safari 6.0.2. I get a black screen and the following message -The Adobe Acrobat/Reader selected for viewing PDF documents in browsers cannot be found at its installed location; it may have been moved or deleted. Please reinstall or repair the application. (16:9)
I am able to download and view the pdfs though. Hw do I solve the problem.

Reinstall the latest version of Adobe Reader - http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html - it will install the latest version of the "Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in, Version 11.0.01" and you'll be able to view any PDF file inline using Safari (Safari does have a 'built-in' PDF renderer that works for some files, but not for any AcroForms, etc.). And Preview is just about the worst PDF reader available - I would make sure that you set Adobe Reader to be your default application for viewing and interacting with PDF files.
Good luck - be sure and restart Safari after the plugin is intstalled. Call back should you have any problems.
