MS 2.1 'Does not support importing files containing tempo changes' message

OK, so I've just loaded up the 2.1 upgrade and opened up a couple of existing concerts, and I get the following message:
+File contains tempo changes+
+One or more of the files you are importing contains tempo change markers. This version of mainstage does not support importing files with tempo changes.+
It's a bit of a problem as the dialogue box appears several times during loading, and I have to click 'OK' every time, which adds to the length of time it takes to load up the concert (something I do several times during the course of my set).
I'm not using any MIDI stuff, just acoustic and electric guitar plus vocal channel strips and playback channels.
I've tried out some of my backing tracks, which have a ralletando at the back end, and they still seem to slow down properly (which isn't surprising, as they are audio files), and I've also tried setting all the sets back to the concert tempo, which hasn't stopped the issue occurring.
Any thoughts, anyone?

Hi Blueberry
Well, if you mean I put a tempo curve at the end of some of my audio files in Logic, in order to slow down at the end of the song, then, yes, I did do that. However, that still works in MS2.1, and anyway, why would that no longer be allowed, as that is an essential musical function. Also, if the upgrade meant I had to re-do the exporting nearly 200 backing tracks, them I'm afraid it would be back to 2.01 for me.
Furthermore, I tried starting MS up in 32 bit, and that didn't make any difference either.
As it is, this problem is (so far) only an inconvenience as it takes longer for me to load a new concert. What I'd like to understand is what does it refer to? and how can I prevent it showing this message?
Thanks

  • Lightroom 3 does NOT support raw files for the  Canon Sureshot S95

Have just bought the new Canon Sureshot S95
after contacting Adobe support I am told Lightroom 3 does NOT support raw files for the
    Canon Sureshot S95.
Come on Adobe.....please provide an update asap.

    (1) Well Boss I did what you said and used Canon DPP to convert to TIFFs. Choices are 8-bit TIFF or 16-bit TIFF - I chose 16-bit because part (90% part) of the reason for wanting to work in RAW is to keep the bit depth of teh original. On my EOS 40D it is supposedly 14 bits, which gives great scope to play with the levels & curves without seeing poster effects. If I choose 16 bit TIFF then each S95 image becomes a 70MB file, parallel to my JPEG and RAW.  Hardly a satisfactory solution.
(I realise, however, that I don't actually know the bit depth of the S95 RAW file - anybody? ).
    (2) SUGGESTION-  even if you are adding S95 support to the next update (which I dearly hope), be kinder to those with new cameras in general and allow LR to import JPEGs if it cannot import the RAWs (overriding if necessary the 'ignore JPEG' preference setting).  I am sure users with that preference would still prefer a JPEG than no picture at all!
Since I discovered this compatibility problem, I switched the camera to record RAW+JPEG*. To my great irritation LR3 ignores the JPEGs even though it cannot load the RAWs.  So if I want to import from one supported camera (EOS40D) and one unsupported camera (S95) I have to keep going into preferences to switch on and off the 'ignore JPEG' function.
    JJ
    *  (this seems to be a setting that needs doing in the various different modes of the camera, by the way).

How to fix file when it says, "Cannot open file " ". Adobe Indesign does not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file may be missing, or file may be open in another application." It worked one second, I saved and closed the file, then tried to reopen and now it won't work. I am using Adobe InDesign CS5. It is the only version on my comp. I have tried opening on another comp & copying the file – same error comes up. PLEASE HELP

First check the version of the document with Jongware's script "Identify.jsx" (ExtendScript/JavaScript).
    You can find it here:
    [Ann] Identify Your InDesign File
If it is CS 5.5 or above, you need someone to open it in the version the script says and export an IDML representation from that. Another way would be to install a 30days version of CS6 or above (CC) and do it yourself.
In regards of the script showing a result for InDesign files higher than CS6:
    CS7 = CC v9
    CS8 = CC v10 = CC-2014 or CC2014.1

  • Nokia E75 does not support sis files

I've been trying to upgrade the Ovi maps on my E75, because navigation has kept me saying that I need to renew the license. I went to Nokia web site and found out that I need to upgrade Ovi maps in order to get the free navigation. I have a 202.12.01 firmware and I installed it once again when I had unsuccessfully tried to upgrade Ovi maps. I have Ovi maps v3.01 09wk44b01 (MW OpenGL LM MN) and Map version 0.1.24.114 (OpenBitLM 6.22.5). I've deleted all old maps and started to download new ones successfully over Nokia Ovi Suite. I've downloaded Nokia Ovi Suite and followed the instructions for downloading and installing the newest version of Ovi maps application (I suppose it must be newer than the one I have on now, because navigation still wants me to buy license, I guess it must be 3.03 or higher). I've tried it several times from the scratch, just to make sure I did it right. Of course I've also chosen the right E75 phone from the drop down menu and I downloaded the file nokia_maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.2_lm_rom.sis. I double-clicked it and everything seems to be right, but when action on the phone should be required the installation guide says "Nokia E75 does not support sis files". From the sis file name I can only now see that I have this version already installed.
Does this mean I can not use navigation for free on E75?
Can anybody help me ASAP, because I need the navigation evey day very badly?

I'v followed the directions of chanchan05 "Just uninstall the maps app, delete the folder and file I mentioned, then reboot your phone. Open the maps app, and it should recreate the qf file and cities folder in a version compatible to 3.03." on /t5/Maps-Navigation-and-GPS/Wasn-t-it-supposed-to-be-quot-Navigation-on-your-Nokia-Free/m-p/668305#M...
Afterwards I installed the sis file you pointed me to and it worked. The maps on the phone were deleted, so I downloaded new ones over Nokia Ovi Suite and tried the navigation. Unfortunately it stills demands buying the licence for the navigation.
I guess this is because the recommended sis file is v3.01 and not v3.03? Is that right?
    Any other solution?

  • Yesterday i made some purchases in itunestore. the download went well. till the synch of itunes with ipod. some of the downloaded music did noch synchronize. the message was: the ipod does not support the file format (mp4). strange, right?

Yesterday 20 november I have made some purchases in Ittunestore. The download went well. Till the synch of itunes with ipod. Some of the downloaded music did noch synchronize. The message was: the ipod does not support the file format (mp4). Strange, right? All the rest of downloaded music items has been synchronised without any problems. What may be the problem?

For music files purchased via the iTunes Store, Apple has used the following file extensions -
.m4a unprotected AAC format music files
.m4p protected AAC format music files
    .m4b protected Audio Books
.m4r unprotected ringtones in AAC format
As you can see Apple have never used .mp4 for music files via the iTunes Store.
For videos Apple use .m4v and these are in H.264 format.
You could try changing the file extension to .m4a, first then see if it plays on your computer and then try re-synching it.

  • Adobe Production Premium CS3 does not support MXF files

My computer crashed the other day and I had to install Adobe Production Premium CS3 on another computer. I noticed when I tried to start a new project there was not an option under Presets for DVCPROHD and when I tried to import my files with Bridge I get an error message stating "File Format Not Supported". What can I do to resolve this issue?
    Thanks,

    Here's what one guy wrote in another forum;
    >"ON THE SONY 6 foot plasma - the HVX200a stood out with apparently nicer colors, a more filmic look in general with it's 24p motion characteristics that have made it famous, and no artifacting that I could see. Again this was on the 6 foot Sony plasma. The EX1, while looking stunningly sharper than the hvx200a at first glance, is a mess of a camera with all sorts of issues that I really don't understand how anyone deals with. Perhaps I am a complete nut job or I had a broken EX1. I thought people were being overbearing and overexagerated with the rolling shutter, long GOP, and jellovision stories that I have read online, but it really is a serious problem. Now at first glance - on slow cuts and pans - the EX1 image seems to slam dunk the HVX except for some strange look of resolution loss or detail loss that appears to happen right after you start moving the camera for the pan - but the EX1 is so sharp that when it losses its detail (perhaps the codec lowering detail to avoid artifacts...although that of itself IS an artifact) it looks more similar to the HVX200a footage, but on fast whips and very fast handheld stuff I saw all sorts of issues and weird skews and slants that there is no way I could deal with. Philip Bloom may have some amazing images but they are all locked down and I don't do locked all the time down so this camera is out."

  • IDVD version 7.0.3 (1110) does not support .mov files???

After the last software update (01.26.09) I can't open my projects made with iDVD 7.0.2 just some days before the update. While opening an old project I receive system message about lost video files. When I try to drag this files manually, I receive message: Unsupported File Type: Broken Reference Movie in: 'name of my .mov file. Meanwhile, the files are on the same place as before.
Is somebody here who have met this problem? What to do? How to come back to previous iDVD version?

Yes iDvd does still supports .mov
However, it's a QT Reference movie you are dealing with and anytime you move this file from it's original location you'll confuse iDvd. The solution is to re-establish the link so that it's no longer a broken link.
iDvd should give the option via a dialog box to find that particular asset before it proceeds any futher. Is it not offering you this option?

  • N nNokia N97 does not support sis files!!??

I was reinstalling some themes and then Ovi Suite says it doesn't support the file ?? what the hell how come it says this. my version of ovi suite is 2.1.0.87 ive tried to update it loads of times but it seems to be stuck at 2.1
    n97.

If you were doing it OTA, then the only reason I can think for it not working would be a misclassified file that is not compatible with the Symbian version on the N97. If you were sending the file to the phone from the browser on your computer while visiting the OVI store, did you select the phone  so only compatible options where displayed?

It says that it cannot support this file.  what is the problem?
before trying elements 12 i had tried elements 7, and it worked....

    Hi Janet,
Adobe Reader is meant for reading pdf documents.
What is the file type that you are trying to open.
After downloading PSE 12 you need to install it to be abvle to use it.
Does it show in the list of installed programs?
If Yes then what error do you get when you try to launch the software.
Also let me know which OS are you using.

  • Aperture does not support raw files from my Leica d-lux 6.

When will Aperture support RAW files from a Leica d-lux 6?

You can download a free copy of Adobe DNG Converter. You then can use this program to convert the D Lux RAW files into DNG RAW files. Aperture will be able to read the DNG files. This is a bit of pain but it will work until Apple supports the D Lux in its usual glacial time span.

  • I keep getting an information message stating that Adobe does not support the file I am trying to download or the file was damaged

Can someone help me? I am a student taking statistics and unable to open data sets that I need to complete my assignments.

Sorry, my reply was actually intended for another post.  Your issue has nothing to do with Windows Update; my apologies!
The issue is likely what Gilad posted, or http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-error-1015-11001-update.html

  • HT200179 aperture 3.4.5 does not support rx100m2.  I got a message "unsupport File Format" for each of the RAW file that I imported.  I have tried to repair permission, remove Aperture Plist from Preferences, create a new aperture library

I have updated Aperture with RAW camera update 4.0.7.

Wow, you got yourself a great camera!
The list of supported raw formats is here:
    http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html
I see DSC-RX100***   on that list, but not yet rx100 Mark 2; I am afraid you will have to wait a bit for the raw support.
You may want want to shoot raw+jpeg, while you are waiting, and work with the jpegs for the time being. You can import the raw later, when the raw support will be available, or use the software that came with the camera, while you are waiting.
