MS-6337 and MS6368 Hang
I am having difficulties with three of my computers. Two have the MS-6368 motherboard and one has the MS-6337 (815EP Pro) motherboard. In each instance, even though the motherboards are different, the problem is common. The problem is, as soon as I load the proper video drivers, the operating system will "hang" when I try to do even the simplest task, such as clicking on "My Computer!!" (Sometimes I don't even get THAT far)!! The computers operate perfectly with only the 16-color Standard VGA drivers supplied by Microsoft, but as soon as I load a video driver......
All three motherboards are running with PIII/1gHz processors and 128mb SDRAM.
With the MS-6337 board, I have tried several different brands of AGP video cards and the problem remains. Additionally, this problem occurs in whatever Microsoft operating system I have tried...Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
I have been trying to solve this myself for about a month. In that time, I have tried all the available bios for these motherboards, as well as the latest drivers.
A final (and STRANGE) note, these computers are about a year old now, and worked PERFECTLY when I first set them up last year. This problem arose when I re-formatted and re-installed an operating system last month after the original users left the company!!
Any suggestions would be appreciated...I'm at a loss!!!
"I finally figured out the problem with the 6337. Swapped out the CPU and it works "as advertised" now." Sorry for my stupid Question but what "swapped" means?
I have a problem too with my 815EP Pro(ms-6337). It hangs in different stages, like trying to view a picture, when readin' my yahoo mail, at 2 seconds after booting and more.
I have uninstalled the sound card and took it out, reinstalled OS(xp 5.1 Sp1) and it still hangas with no drivers installed. It' just FREEZING. All i can do is push the magic button - reset. Ihave entered in safe mode and when loading "drivers" it stops 5 sec. at agp44o.SYS. Could that be the problem? The cpu is a 755Mhz bus100. When i tried to reinsall she sound card the first time i got myself with a restart then just with freezing at 95% of the installation.
I have the same configuration and OS for 9 months and it worked just fine. I tried to change my cpu with a 866mhz bus133. It was freezing with that cpu. I have putted back the 750 one and worked just fine for about 2 months.I tryed the 866 again, still not workin' at all; back to 750= not working. What can i do.
Sorry for my spelling but i'm sure u'll understand.

Safari (and Firefox) hang on Flash-Pages for main-account
Since Easter (when I took the last batch of upgrades) Safari and Firefox hang.
I narrowed the test down to the following web-page:
http://www.sunfleet.com
* The page does not load completely - after a little while I get this spinning ball and need to kill the hanging Safari-process.
* The same web-page works flawless on a second account.
This is what i tried so far after reading the communities:
* Checked the safari-preferences, switched off auto-fill, security settings allow loading of plug-ins.
* Executed Onyx 2.1.4 - check disk, check and repair rights, run scripts
* deinstalled Flash and reinstalled it (10.0.45.2) according to the instructions on the Adobe Support Page
* manually removed the Flash Player folders in:
Home/Library/Preferences/Macromedia
Home/Library/Caches
The error still prevails.
It would be great if someone could instruct me what to do next.
I have a backup via time-machine, but I really don't know what to restore.
Message was edited by: step5Hi Carolyn!
In the mean-while I removed all the Internet Plugins that were registered under the main user:
real-player and move-media-player are now gone.
Still no change. I made a new trace below - I wonder, what is different on the main account compared to the other user. Could it be fonts ?
Best regards
Stephan

Dynamic Tabs & PDF form display cause IE CPU up and PC hang
Hi Experts,
I create dynamic tabs and inside each tab I create interactive form with PDF data inside to display PDF. After running for a while, the CPU goes up and PC hang. What could be the problem for this? (I'm using IE7)
Thanks,
- Anthony -Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your reply!
I've re-designed it in a way that only one instance of Adobe Reader in the current selected tab. Whenever user choose another tab, I remove Adobe Reader from that tab and create in the new selected tab. The problem still exists. I don't know what and where exactly problem is. This is excerpt code in WDDOMODIFYVIEW to remove interactive form first and all tabs later. Do you see any problem with this piece of code?
Be noted that the IE get hang only (CPU 100%) when I run it for a while, meanings select selecte items in view1 and pdf preview in view2, back to view 1 to select other items go to view2 to preview pdf....
data: lo_f type ref to cl_wd_interactive_form,
lo_tabstrip type ref to cl_wd_tabstrip,
lo_tab type ref to cl_wd_tab,
ls_pdftab type wd_this->element_pdftab.
if lo_tabstrip->has_tabs( ) = 'X'.
" Remove adobe reader in the old tab
if ls_pdftab-old_tab is not initial.
lo_tab = lo_tabstrip->get_tab( id = ls_pdftab-old_tab ).
if lo_tab is not initial.
lo_f ?= lo_tab->get_content( ).
if lo_f is not initial.
lo_f->unset__parent( ).
lo_f->unregister_from_view( ).

" Remove all tabs

Using Firefox, I can login and browse my financial institution website (NFCU) but I cannot pay bills. When I click the bill pay tab, the tab loads about 66% and then hangs (loading). I have let it load until NFCU asks me if I want to cancel the session, a much to long of a load time. Has anyone else reported having this issue with NFCU or Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18?
I have also posed the question to NFCU, currently awaiting response and will share what was given.jsavage9621,
It pains me to hear about your experience with the Home Phone Connect. This device usually works seamlessly and is a great alternative to a landline phone. It sounds like we've done our fair share of work on your account here. I'm going to go ahead and send you a Private Message so that we can access your account and review any open tickets for you. Screen Painter displays nothing and becomes hang.
<b>Screen Painter displays nothing and becomes hang.</b>
To duplicate:
1. Create a new table and fields. (I created using SQL Enterprise Manager).
2. Create a new form using Screen Painter.
3. Bound several items to column to field of table created on step#1
4. Save and close the form in .srf.
5. Open the saved form and Screen Painter becomes hang.
Is there any mistakes in my steps? Or this is just a Screen Painter Bug?
Thanks in advance,
Jemmy SentoniusWhen creating new tables, make sure to create them via SAP. You can achieve this by either manually creating tables via SAP client or programmatically using DIAPI.
When you bind data to a form via UIAPI (either programmatically or via xml/srf) SAP needs to know the tables you refer to.
When you create tables using Enterprise Manager, SQL Server knows about the tables, SAP does not. Hence your error, I guess.
However Screenpainter should not hang when referencing "invalid" (to SAP) tables. This behaviour ought to be corrected.

Flash Player Clashes and Browser Hang
Hi, I have been experiencing the following problem for the past few weeks.
My IE and Firefox hang after finished viewing video via Adobe Flash Player. I was prompted to send a crashed report and reload the page before the browser is responsive again.
I am using the updated browser and did try disabling hardware acceleration but problem unsolved.
Amazingly my Chrome browser is not being affected.
Please help out, thanks. Thanks for sending the Crash report. If you wouldn't mind, we'd like to get more information from you. This FAQ details the info we'll need:
How do I report a Flash Player crash to Adobe? -

What is wrong with FF it keeps closing up and numerous hang ups awful
I have so many problems with this browser - they just keep multiplying. Today, Firefox started closing by itself without my doing anything. This is added to the constant script running errors and other hang ups that constantly slow down my work and are driving me crazy. Maybe I'd just better go back to IE? I've tried your help "fixes" and they don't. Very frustrating.
Did Firefox crash?
See:

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.

MBP 2.1GHz waking from sleep on its own, and hard hanging/heating.
I searched and read and read and didn't see a whole lot of info regarding those having their system wake from sleep and hard hanging.
Usually I 1st notice it when I see the sleep LED dimly lit. On examination the MBP is almost to hot to touch. It is unresponsive to any keys other than to hold power button till it powers down. I've had it do this while in it's sleeve as well. It should have probably therm-tripped from excessive heat, but didn't. All in all, is kind of scary to have to get so hot when it hangs like that, be it in the bag, or setting on my desk.
Background:
It is on A/C and battery is fully charged.
Sleep is configured to do so on lig closure.
Machine Name: MacBook Pro 15"
Machine Model: MacBookPro1,1
CPU Type: Intel Core Duo
Number Of Cores: 2
CPU Speed: 2.16 GHz

Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP11.0055.B03

SMC Version: 1.2f10
System Version: Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8J2135a)
Kernel Version: Darwin 8.7.1
Boot Volume: Macintosh HD
All updates are installed and all the latest firmware is also up to date.
I have wake on bluetooth disabled.
Other issues seen:
IMovie HD crashed while creating a project
IDVD creates DVD's that contain broken video/audio, even though they were fine with I MovieHD while on A/C.
Finally, I spent a good part of today digging though logs for anything notable and see nothing. No core dumps or anything. I do have applecare and am wondering if it is time to call??
Any help/comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
VG
MacBook Pro 15" Mac OS X (10.4.7)I think I have the same problem. The whole sequence is:
* Put MacBook Pro to sleep by closing lid.
* After some period of time that varies, I notice sleep LED is no longer pulsing.
* The case is VERY hot.
* When I open the lid, the display stays black.
* No sequence of keys or closing/opening lid wakes display.
* Only way to recover is to power cycle.
* Problem is VERY intermittant -- I do not know how to reproduce it at will. AppleCare service had it for a whole week and couldn't reproduce it, whereas for me it occurs once every 1 or 2 days.
Actions:
* AppleCare service replaced the main logic board in early June, but it didn't help.
* I did a clean erase and install, but it didn't help.
* AppleCare service had the unit for a full week in July and couldn't reproduce the problem, so they returned it and it still had the problem.
I have a Logitech Bluetooth mouse, don't know model other than M-RBB93. I'll UNset "Allow Bluetooth to wake..." and will also turn off the bluetooth mouse before closing lid. I'll post my results.
Meanwhile, please let me know if anyone determines a solution! -
Adobe Premier and Dreamweaver Hanging Up
I'm running an 8 core i7 process with a RAID Zero and to other solid state drives with 24 gigs ram and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 on windows 7 64bit and for some reason I'm experience more and more hang ups, locking up when using Premier and Dreamweaver. There are some serious performance issues with Adobe CC. I'm running very powerful machines and I do not expect these constant crashes and hang ups. Working with fluid grid layouts in Dreamweaver is a nightmare. I take about a minute to three minutes for a web page to wake up after opening it in Dreamweaver to work on it. This totally destroys the possibility of a smooth workflow. Same thing in Premier, I'll be editing a project and suddenly the software goes white and then premier says it's low on resource or something and sometimes it will not totally crash and other times it will totally crash. It's hard to take time out to explain this to you people, as your customer for almost two decades I'M SICK OF BEING YOUR BETA TESTER AND HAVING TO PAY FOR YOUR PRODUCTS

KE30 and KKO0 hang after EHP5 enhancement pack implementation
We implemented EHP5 and now KE30 and KKO0 hang up when we double-click on a report. We tried to run RKD_REGENERATE_ALL_REPORTS and that hangs as well. We've searched SDN and SAP notes but can't find anything - any ideas????
Yes, we did enter a customer message and SAP was able to resolve this. During our EHP5 enhancement pack implementation, for some reason the kernel file abap.pad only got copied to our central SAP instance and not any of our other dialog servers. Once we copied the newest version of abap.pad to all of our servers, everything works fine.
