  • USB pin out question

What is the difference between the USB header pin out on a 266 pro2 RU board and the KT3 Ultra 2 boards?  I replaced the RU board with the ultra2 board, keeping the USB brackets and connecting  them to the USB 2 headers on the new board. These USB connectors never worked.   Finally replaced one with the DLED/USB2 bracket that came with the Ultra 2 board, Works just fine. I thought the pin out were the same... must be wrong somewhere...

  • MS6513 Connectx USB pin outs

    Help!
I've got a MS6513 board in a Medion PC.  It has a Connectx panel on the front of the case with two USB connections in it.
I need the layout of the USB pin outs as they are on the Motherboard, due to the fact that the board has gone bang and when I connect up the connectx panel to my new boards usb connections the whole thing (including mouse) freezes.
    Can anybody help?

    Hi Richcps,
You can look into your mobo manual and check for the points of the USB1/2 on your mobo.
    All the Best... :D!!!

  • What the pin out of headset of mini netbook 110-1033CL?

Would you please show me the pin out of the jack that plug in this HP Mini 110-1033CL audio, microphone socket so I can build one?
    I tried:
4 Pole Jack                  Headphone Socket          Mic Socket
    Screen                               Screen                             Screen
    Tip                                       Tip
    Ring 1                                 Ring
    Ring 2                                                                         Tip + Ring
but only hear the sound but not microphone.
    Thanks,

No USB, no Firewire problems. If they went and change the connector from one to another, I can understand and I would not buy the new one.
It is simple, I've used a iPods for years now. Since generation 2 and I've had nanos, iPods, Touch, all of them but an iPhone and the dock connector always worked to get a standard line out signal on the Apple specific connector.
Now, with no warning or indication that we are changing the signals on the Apple connector, it no longer works. Why on earth would I buy one if this is the only one which doesn't work with a very basic accessory ?
I might see if all the Touches used a new connector, but to change the signals on the connector going into the 2nd generation is crazy.
I've googled around and don't even see anyone selling an apple connector to standard mini plug used as inputs on car stereo inputs.
Again, I must be missing something ? am I the only person out there using the dock connector to plug a 2G touch into a standard line in on a stereo ?

Opened my new rx-1050 the tv-out isnt a s-video connector. It is a 8 pin connector. I doubt it is S-video, even though it is named that on the home page?
Can i get the pin-out to it? Can i get a reseller to cable-adapter suitable to it? Partno?
No cable included in the box, and only a picture of a cable on the homepage, no info at all what it is or where i can find it!

  • Where can I find the pin-outs for 8-pin remote Hirose connector?

Where can I find the pin-outs for 8-pin remote Hirose connector?

Pin outs and wiring info is all in the Maintenance Manuals (same for all system cameras, F series, XDCAM etc.), - ask your local Sony Office if you want the info. The 8pin remote is for connection to the Sony RM-B150/170/750 remote control panels. For system cameras the same protocol is used between RCP panels, MSU, CCUs and camera heads. It is a proprietry system so extremely difficult to hack! The RM-B170 is the ideal panel to work with the PMW-F5/55. It will give basic painting control of R/B white & black painting, Master Pedestal, and Iris with the correct lens (Cabrio etc). It can also control remote Rec stop start.Regards, Clive. Sony ANZ.

  • G61 battery pin-out.

Need to know the battery pin-outs to try putting charging on the bench to see it the laptop charge circuit is a problem.Thanks. Richard

I have some more information concerning the problem with my ThinkPad W510
I have circumvented the battery pin-out problem.  I have new ("compatible") battery and an external charger (genuinr Lenovo) [cost a small fortune].
The external charger and battery evidently work well together behaving as expected the one time I have used them.
The battery apparently works well with the computer.
I let the battery run down to 54% (it said) then I plugged in the external/mains power adapter.  The (external) green light  on the back went from being continuously on to blinking off quickly about once once a second or two (what I would call 'slow').  I took this change to a good thing.  On hovering my mouse over the battery icon in the 'system tray' at the bottom right of my screen it told me battery level was 54% and it was plugged in and charging.  I thought this was good.  However, after 30 minutes, or 1 hour (some time like that, enough, I thought, to make a detectable difference) I checked again (in fact I had been looking more frequently than that) and the battery indicators were identical (still  showing a charge level of 54%).
In the time before giving up I had installed some updates and had to reboot a couple of times.  This had made no difference.
Does this new report confirm, or lead to a new, the dagnosis of the problem (in anyone knowledgeable's opinion) ?

  • What are the counter channels on PXIe-6361 pin-out diagram

    Hello,
I defined three counters channels using DAQ assistant for the PXIe-6361 board (ctr0, ctr1, ctr2). I did not see explicit labels on the pin-out diagram for the PXIe-6361 card that indicate where these counters are. Can anyone point me out what are the pins / labels on the pin-out diagram for these counters?
    Thanks much
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Larrage,
The best way to find the default pins is using the DAQmx Help file. You can reach this in MAX by clicking on Help>>Help Topics>>NI-DAQmx>>NI-DAQmx Help. In the help file, you can search for "Connecting Counter Signals" and select the link for the series card you have (X Series in this case).
In your case, the default counter output terminals for ctr0, ctr1, and ctr2 would be PFI 12, PFI 13, and PFI 14, respectively. The counter inputs (for counting edges) would be PFI 8, PFI 3, and PFI 0 for the same counters. You can change the input/output terminals for counters in your VI or MAX, but these are the defaults for the card.

  • Pin-Out Diagrams : Xi-Fi Titanium Fata1ity Pro?

I have a PC case which has 2 x 3.5 mm audio jacks built-in to the front?panel. Currently they are connected to the Asus motherboard (which has HD Audio onboard).
However, I have disabled the mobo HD Audio because I have an XiFi Titanium Fataity Pro soundcard fitted.
I would like to connect the?audio jacks to the XiFi instead, so I can listen to music via headphones by jacking in to the case audio plugs; but to do this I need to know what are the Pin-Out configuration of the connectors onboard the Xi-Fi card.
Is this information available anywhere? Has anyone else done something similar?
    Thank you
    NigelS

?Re: or this Re: Pin-Out Diagrams : Xi-Fi Titanium Fataity Pro?E Well on looking closer:
The front panel?audio connector is attached to the mobo with a 0 pin connector as shown in the Intel pin-out diagram you gave me in the link. It is labelled AAFP and supports HD Audio or AC97 depending on what is set in the BIOS. Removing this, to attach the cable instead to the XiFi card - immediate problem is the XiFi connector has 2 pins?
There's also a bigger problem: the HD Audio 0 pin connector block has one pin blocked out for keying purposes. The IO connector on the XiFi has 2 straight pins; so the HD Audio block simply won't attach to the XiFi card (either the first 0-pins or the last 0-pins which ever set would have been more appropriate).
As far as I can see the only solution is to know the actual pin configuration of all 2 pins on the XiFi card (as per my original posting) and then to reconfigure the 9 wires leading into the HD Audio block into a separate 2-way block which I would have to buy). In other words not the simple job I'd hoped for when I started.

  • Counter Pin-Outs for 6025E

    Greetings,
Regarding the 6025E w/ SCB-100, what are the normal I/O pin-outs one uses for the 2 counters? DIO 6 and 7 can control the counter. GPCTR0_OUT and GPCTR1_OUT I presume are the pinouts for pulse trains, etc. Is this correct? Would GPCTR0_SOURCE and GPCTR0_GATE then function as inputs?
My immediate use for these pinouts would be a frequency input TTL count on counter 0 and a PWM signal output from counter 1. I'm finding the information in the 6025E user manual quite confusing. Would somebody please be so kind to point me to examples or a discussion that detail which type of pin-out to use where?

By default, GPCTRX_SOURCE is the source and GPCTRX_GATE the gate for the counter X (X = 0 or 1). But you can use other PFI lines instead of these defaults inputs.
The outputs cannot be set to other pins than GPCTRX_OUT.
DIO6 is the default auxiliary line of counter 0 and DIO7 of counter 1. They will set the direction of counting when the counter is configured for position measurement (UP/DOWN counter).
If not already done, I strongly recommend you to install the improved counter palette.
There are a lot of examples that ships with LV. They will help you to start your counter application. For LV7 : LV Menu --> Help --> Find examples --> Hardware Input and Output --> Traditional DAQ --> Counters --> DAQ-STC.
Measure Frequency (DAQ-STC).vi not only shows how to measure a frequency but also how to set non default values for source and gate.
Both counters of the PCI-6025E are needed to measure a frequency and therefore it will not be possible to run another counter task at the same time. One counter is configured for simple event counting and will therefore count the pulses on its source. The counting is gated by the second counter that is used to generate a single pulse.
Frequency [Hz] = Number of pulses / Measure time [s]
The duration of the measurement is very accurate because it is given by hardware (internal timebase of the counter).
If the frequency of the signal is low, it will be more accurate to measure the period of the signal --> Measure Period (DAQ-STC).vi.
This method requires only one counter. The source of the counter is the internal timebase and the external signal is used to gate the counter. (number of pulses of the internal timebase between two rising or falling edges of the signal).
The numerous advanced DAQ counters functions allow you to go very deep in detail and I recommend you to go through some of the examples that ships with LV or that you can find on ni.com.

  • Pin-outs on NI 6251

Are the pin-outs on the 6251 correct as listed in the documentation? I am trying to wire a simple output board that just has one AO and one AI channel and one digital channel to BNC. That's all. But it doesn't work at all. However, the BNC-2110 works just fine. Are the pin-outs listed correct?

    Hello,
There have been no reported misrouting of pinouts or signals on the 6251. Do you have a basic breakout board like a CB-68LP or SCB-68 that you can test without using the BNC-2010? From documentation for the M-series channel 0 input should be pin 68(+) and 34(-) if you are using differential input. The analog output should be connected to Pin 22(+)for AO 0 and pin 54 or 55 for the ground side. Pin 52 is digital channel 0 with pin 53 being the ground side for that. Is this what you are seeing in your documentation? If not, please, post back
    and let us know.

  • Pin out for connector block - CB-50LP (50 pins)

    1. Need pin out designation for 50 pins connector block, for use in multifunction DAQ (6024E)
    2. Connections from 6024E to 68 pins connector block.

    1.  How are you connecting the 6024E to the 50 pin connector block?  Any special 68 to 50 pin cable or adapter should have a pinout that comes with it.  If you have an NI cable or adapter you should be able to look in that part's manual online at ni.com and find this pinout.
    2.  What specific 68-pin connector block are you using, is it an SCB-68?  For an SCB-68 the pins on the connector block are mapped to the same pin on the 6024E or any E-Series and most M-Series boards.  The pinout for the 6024E will be the pinout for the SCB-68.

  • What is the pin out connections of SCB 100

What is the pin out connections of SCB 100

    Suresh,
Since the SCB-100 is a terminal block, its pin out is dictated by the DAQ device to which it is cabled. Thus, the pin out is available in the user manual for the appropriate DAQ device. Below, I have included a link to the location where the user manuals are available:

    Good luck with your application.
