MS Access download

I'm trying to download the Access to 7.3.4 Wizard. I tell it to
accept the license terms and then get thrown back to the
original screen and the downlod process never starts. I tried
it with version for Oracle 8 and it worked. Is that file still
available? If it is does it also migrate Access 2000?

None of the wizards support Access 2000 migrations. I have
been able to reproduce the download problem you experienced
and have raised it with our IT people (who manage OTN). We
will ensure that the issue it resolved a.s.a.p.

    There are several possibilities as to why a user account may
    not be correctly available or a password to it reset to fix it.
    One of them may be, if the short name of the computer or of
    an account was changed by the user; and later the system
    may appear different or changed, with some of the user acct
    settings or preferences no longer as they were prior to that.
    There is a way to create a new admin level user account and
    then move the older user info into the new account; then go
    in and delete the other one. I am not certain as to how to do
    this; but the topic has come up in these discussions, and the
    general path is about the same from Panther through Leopard.
    A few details may be named different, but similar as things go.

    While these kinds of details may not be behind the exact problem in
    the computer in question, directory and user account issues do often
    have similar causes. Often, they are user-caused events. If the general
    Directory of information on the hard disk drive has a problem, the use
    of a third-party disk tool such as Disk Warrior is usually advised. If that
    were needed, usually more evidence across the system would appear.
    There may be a way to use a Setup Assistant to recreate a new user
    experience and start over with a new admin account and user name.
    Then go into the system to ferret out the old user info.

    Have checked firewalls and security as per the ITunes connectivity etc but still cannot access downloads - for over 24 hours it has said the ITunes store is temporarily unavailable please try later - this is now urgent as I am leaving the country and need to access my purchased music so I can put it on my IPod Touch before leaving thanks

  • Can't access account, shopping cart. Can't purchase or access downloads!!

    This has been going on since Jan 12 1000 Eastern Standard time.
    I can tell from the other discussions that I'm not the only one.
    I can access the store, browse the different sections (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc), I can't listen to sample clips of music.
    But when ever I try to access my account, view shopping cart, purchases media, or check for downloads I get the striped bar & the notice "Accessing iTunes Store". But that's it, the bar just keeps cycling for minutes on end without connecting.
    Back on Jan 12th I got on error message stating that I was almost out of memory. But I have nearly 40GB free on my Laptop HD and on my external HD (where my library is located) I have a spare 260GB. At the time, no other applications were running so it couldn't have been the RAM load.
    Anyone else having similar problems connecting? This is getting unbelievably frustrating. I've been an iTunes customer for nearly two years with almost no problems. Do they realize that with this problem in place they're effectively losing a customer by shutting me out?

    I got on to ask the same question, in my particular situation, I have been unable for three weeks to choose a song in the iTunes store and send it to my Shopping Cart. The response, which didn't have a number was, "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Having been stopped by this note for three weeks has been quite frustrating. After reading the string, I thought I was going to have to dump a lot of my Shopping Cart (that I use like a Wish List).
    Now my Shopping Cart seems to be finally unstuck. This is what I had to do, and it may not work for everybody. I went to the Shopping Cart (after taking screen shots of it in the event I had to fully dump it) and purchased a couple of songs stored there. I also deleted a couple of selections that were apparently no longer available. Then I went back to the iTunes Store, went to the song I've been wanting to send to the Shopping Cart for three weeks, clicked on it and this time, it went to the Shopping Cart without seeing the "y'all come back later" roadblock. I quickly purchased it too.
    I don't know if this is a permanent fix, or if I'll have to try it again next time it gets stuck, but maybe it will work for you.

    I paid on line for Adobe Export so to download the program and be able to convert Adobe docs, but could not access the account once paid and rec'd an email acknowledgement. Kept going around in circles, got on line chat but they could not help, told to contact Tech support M-F; Then tried to download a trial and could not get download assistant to respond.  WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE? This sucks, and very sorry to have to express this.

    I want to download a Z table to MS Access database, in my table one of the field is of type STRING, I use this field to store long text.
    When I use the program RIACCESS to create the structure, it creates a Access table with the field of type Text which has max length of 255 characters only.
    Actually I want to create this field of type 'Memo' in Access so that I can store long text in Access database.
    Please guide me to solve the issue.

  • Android AIR, reliable way to access download folder.

    Hey guys.
    My App exports a PDF and i would like to save it to a location that the user can access without having to install a File-Explorer App first.
    Most of the newer Android devices dont come with a File-Explorer App preinstalled (narrow minded IHMO), but all of them have a "Download-Folder" - button. Sadly, the trend seems to go towards "managed file categories for the dongled DAUs" instead of file-paths.
    Is there a shortcut ? Like to the other directories:
    File.desktopDirectory
    File.documentsDirectory
    File.userDirectory
    If not, someone from Adobe should consider mapping the downloadfolder to something like:
    File.downloadDirectory

  • Firefox 29.0.1 Cannot view download in progress, nor access downloads via browser

    I am running Firefox 29.0.1 in a Windows OS. Up until a few days ago, the grey arrow (green when downloading) worked fine, dropped down a menu that showed recent downloads, and allowed me to access them. Now I find I cannot do this. I would prefer to use the native "download button", but am open to suggestions if this is not possible.

  • Very Limited Internet access - Download

    I am now a Full Creative Cloud member. Can I download the complete Master Collection Creative Cloud Suite package for easy install onto my computer? I have very limited internet where the work computer is. I can get broadband from another location and would like to fully download the package from there and then take to the work computer for install. Is this possible? Or is it possible to ask for the software on disc?

    Cheers mate for the link, however this does not offer the 'most-up-to-date' versions of all the software on offer as a paid 'Cloud' member.
    Surely there is a way for Cloud members to download the most up to date paid software without restrictions for easy install onto a computer that does not have or very little internet access?
    My office computer is located in the country and the only internet available, and very on and off due to poor reception, is 3G mobile coverage. At $49 per month for only 3GBs, this is very expensive, so we use the internet sparingly.
    I do have access to a broadband else where to download content, but I am not allowed nor is it suitable to take along the WorkStation Rig to this broadband location to install downloaded software.
    I am happy to download the occasional update and to have the software do a monthly check in for licencing, but to have to download large files is just not possible.
    I must be missing something from Adobe, surely they have addressed this concern for others before?
