there is no 'FIND' or 'SEARCH' in pb spread sheet. without that i cannot do my work. i am not satisfied with playbook features. i made a wrong choice.

I have the same problem. Right now my iPhone 5S shows 3 instances of the computer to which it is connected under Settings » General » iTunes WiFi Sync. I'm having problems connecting and syncing, and this is probably the cause: the phone chooses one of these connections, and it isn't the one that's actually in use. What's probably happening is that the phone and computer establish a connection using a dynamic IP address, the address becomes "disassociated" due to error, another address is associated, the phone retains each address/link, and each link is displayed as if it represents a separate computer (the fact that the name of the computer is identical is ignored, as the only thing that is considered important is the IP address). But that's all conjecture. More important, I'm not sure how to fix the problem. A network reset doesn't do it.

Sorry, that "mail" thing isn't a standard part of Firefox. Seek support from the developer of the add-on you have installed that added that feature to Firefox. Support contact information should be on the download page for that extension.

Hierarchy Node Variable search (find) option not working

Hi Experts - I have created a hierarchy node varibale on a fixed hierarchy. When user run the report and click on hierarchy node variable selection option , A new window will pop up which has all the nodes.
As the list is quite big and has many levels , On the same pop up , we have find option , when we enter any node in the find box , its always give a ABAP Dump , It never works for me...
Is node find/search in not working in Bi 7.0 .

I find the easiest way to install Adobe Flash is to use the manual installers. You just need to download the installer to your computer, then run it to install Flash. For more details see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#main_ManualInstaller
That link states you should uninstall earlier versions, as you don't have the version of Flash used by Firefox you can skip that step.

5530 Xpress Music - Can not use "find" option

Hope someone can help. This problem started last week. When I go to File Manager and then try to "find" a file, instead of the screen moving on to give options of which memory source I want to find a file in, it goes back to the previous screen (either the home screen or menu screen). This means I am unable to search for files on the phone. It did resolve spontaneously for a few days but the problem has returned. Any ideas? I have had no problems with this until last week.

the biggest issue ive found with the "find" option is that if you dont type in EXACTLY what something is labled it doesnt find it. so if youre looking for a file called "blue_red" and you just type "blue red" it doesnt recognize it because it not exact. i have actually given up using the find option compleatly because of this. .also there can be files on the phone that you can see when the phone is plugged into your computer using the usb that you cannot access or even see on the phone itself.

My system is a Windows 7 machine, 64 bit
I previously had Excel 2010 32bit with 32 both Powerpivot installed. However I am currently evaluating 64 bit Excel 2013 with Powerpivot for my company so I uninstalled Excel 2010 and installed an evaluation copy of Excel 2013 64 bit.
However whenever I launch Excel, enable Powerpivot, then click any of the Powerpivot buttons it gives me an error saying "Excel has stopped working".
I took a look in the Windows events logs and found:

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing as well as doing a Repair on my .net framework, which is the latest version.

Microsoft Excel Has Stopped Working at End of VBA Code

I'm using Microsoft Excel Professional Plus 2010. My code essentially looks up a date in a different sheet, copies it to another sheet in an organized location, and prints to PDF. If I run the code for a period longer than a couple months ago,
at the end of the VBA code, it states "Microsoft Excel Has Stopped Working", quits, and recovers.
I added in a piece of code at the end to save the workbook, which it does, then it quits. I can reopen the document and all my work is saved. There is something going on I can't put my finger on but for some reason it only happens when I'm dealing
with more information than usual (a couple months worth, possibly only 20-30 rows of info).
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

In regarding of the issue, we'd better do some tests to narrow down the issue and find the root cause.
Please copy the file with code to another PC (We'd better use the similar environment) to test.
First, if it works well, this issue might be caused by the Excel or other program in your PC. I recommend we follow this KB to troubleshoot:

Then, if the issue still exists, we could collect the Event log and App crash dump file to do deep troubleshoot.
Second, if it still crashes Excel 2010 in other PC, it might be due to the VBA code. I suggest you upload the code and post the issue to MSND forum for Excel to get more help.

Find option missing with IE11

What happened to the Find option when displaying on IE11? It works great on earlier browser versions but it does not even display with IE11.
I am specifying the option in both the C# code in the PreRender section and within the aspx code with no positive results in IE11.

As per my understanding, SSRS render in IE 11, it has compatibility issue. It cannot be avoided on the Reporting Services level. We can make the IE 11 open all intranet sites with Compatibility View mode automatically, please use the following steps:
1. Launch the IE 11, and press Alt+T to select the Tools.
2. Click Compatibility View settings.
3. Check the “Display intranet sites in Compatibility View” option, and click Close.
Alternative, please check HtmlViewer.CSS file (By default, it is located in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\Styles), if it is include below code:

Microsoft excel has stopped working (on model update...).

I have chaneged the query of an excel 2013 power pivot model's data source.
On save an update of the models data is launched.
Every thing goes well until the very end of data retrieval (around 27 milion records).
At that point excel crashes with the enoying massage 'Microsoft excel has stopped working'.
I have looked in windows logs there is just one general massage with nothing in it...
Where would you go looking?
File size at 4.5 milion records is 111MB so at 27 milion should be around 666MB...

What version of Excel 2013 do you have installed? 32 bit or 64 bit? It sounds like 32 bit based on your above scenario. When you have excel open, open up task manager and watch your memory usage. 32 bit Excel is capped at 2 GB of RAM, but realistically it
starts crashing right around the 650 MB to 1.2 GB range. (I've seen it crash anywhere in this range)
I'd suggest either limiting your query down to pull much fewer rows or installing the 64 bit version of Office/Excel.
In addition to what SQLBISchmidt has already mentioned, double check that you are only including columns that will actually be used within the Power Pivot model. Be especially careful with columns that have many distinct values (i.e. high cardinality) as
these can be very costly in terms of memory consumption.
Do you happen to have any complex calculated column calculations in the table or related tables? This can also cause these kind of issues if it is indeed memory-pressure related.

Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process. If you have any newer data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

You may know this method already; it is not exactly the same as a screen capture in Skype, which would capture only the Skype window, instead it captures everything on your screen and copies it to your clipboard. But you can edit out what you don't need in any image editing software, including Microsoft Paint (which can be found by typing Paint in the Start screen and pressing enter). Pressing Prt Sc copies it to the clipboard, so when you open your image editing software you have to paste it. This can be done with the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + C". Once you have edited it to your liking, save it to a location of your choice. If you were asking how to take a profile picture with your webcam, I do not know of a way to set it automatically, but I do know a quick workaround. (There may be an option to set it automatically with your webcam, but if there is I am not aware of it.) First, open the Camera app by typing Camera into the Start screen and pressing enter. Say "cheese" and click anywhere on the screen. This will save a snapshot. Next open Skype and click the small thumbnail image in the top right corner that has your current profile picture. A menu will pop out of the right side of the screen that shows your profile picture and status. Now click the picture and it will let you choose any picture on your computer to set as your profile picture. (To find the picture you just took from within Skype, navigate to C:\Users\[SELECT YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME HERE]\Pictures\Camera Roll). I apologize if I have over simplified it, I do not mean to be condescending but I never know how much others understand about technology and would rather provide too much information than not enough. Hey Sandeep,
I am working on a similar format for a report and if possible can you please give me some guidelines. I have initially created reports using XML Publisher, but for those , the output preview format was PDF. So, if I select the preview format as EXCEL will it give me output in Excel and for this to happen, how do I define the rtf template. I believe the working will be same as for PDF, create a rdf report, get output in XML and apply the template to get the data in Excel or there is something different to this.
