Hi,
Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.

Add-in support on Office 365 click-to-run installed and Office 365 App-V installed

We have to make a decision on deploying Office 365 via on premise click-to-run, with the Office Deployment tool, or via App-V. But the way add-ins are supported on Office 365 / Office 2013 on App-V 5.0 SP2 is not clear to me.
Some Technet sites mention that for add-in support on an App-V based office, the add-ins should be sequenced and put together in a connection group with the Office App-V package (created by the Office Deployment tool)

There is a new feature for Office 365 Pro Plus, it allow administrators the ability to exclude App element. We need to use Office 2013 Click-to-Run (Build 15.0.4615.1001) and logon as administrator.

Office 365 Pro Plus Install or deployment issue.

Users downloading the software direct from the user portal leaves them stuck on the setting up office when they don’t have office on their systems and does not allow them to download it.
Downloading to the network to deploy gives the error that they may not be connected to the internet which makes no sense at all but I’ve tried it three times all with the same result. IT downloads the actual installer file to
the server but it keeps giving that same error.

PST Capture to Office 365 fails with Import error : Error opening PST File

Hello everybody
I was dealing for more than a week to make it work this tool, Capture PST.}
Already have all requirements: and tried to install in different environments like Server 2008r2 or Windows 8 (not 8.1)
PST Capture Console is installed on the Domain Joined Machine.
You have mentioned that the User Account (PST Capture Tool's Service Account) is a Local Administrator on the Machine running the Tool.
You also have the Outlook 2010 X64 installed
And you have created the outlook profile for that Service Account.
Also not have any non-email items on my pst, is only a test PST with 2MB emails as a test.
I came back from Office 365 forum and they said you are the best guys for this topic.

Finally make it work after 2 weeks of war. Is not a product that you can use in your production environment, because have several complains.
Only works with PST which have Mail items (non calendars, or task, or contacts) and even you can not have a folder structure inside your Inbox, so it is not worth it.

Managing Office 365 Click to install with SCCM

Hello,
I am looking at deploying Office 365 via SCCM, but it looks like we will loose the ability to patch via WU/MU and instead need to update via pointing 365 to a static update source in configuration.xml \\server\path\.
Has anyone found a way to deploy the click to run 365 Office version and still effectively manage and updates and patches using SCCM distribution points? We do not want to run the MSI version.
Can anyone from MS here comment on the future of SCCM and 365 click to run integration ?

I was hoping you'd ask ;)
We created a second app in SCCM with some different settings for deployment because we expected people would be using Office while we were trying to update. . We used the same deployment method as the original app and the only real difference in the XML
is the version number of the bits we are updating and the display level. We changed the display level so that if people were logged in an using Office when the installation deadline was reached they would get a nice popup that indicated if they wished to continue
with the Office update then they would need to close Office. If they declined then SCCM marked the application as failed and on next software eval cycle would prompt again until success.
Our XML for the update is below - hope this helps.

I can't seem to get SP2 for Office 2010 pushed out to a selection of Win 7 PCs, they get this error code:

Can verbose logging get turned on? We are just using the c:\windows\windowsupdate.log file.
We are just testing against a group of Windows 7 PCs that are a common build within our company. It seems most need around 1.5GBs of updates!
We approved all over the required updates (yeah I know, we don't have time to check/test all) and most of the PCs needed several reboots and most
said failed and had to roll back, but it seems it did do most updates of many days. I'm not sure why they were failing, is it because they are so out of date and some of the approved updates are pre-requisites?
We are new to WSUS, I think I ready another post uses a readiness tool, would that help?

Office 365 BI vs. SharePoint 2013 on premise BI - are new updates going to O365 only/first?

With some of the more recent blog posts I've seen there seems to be talk of a trend where new fixes/changes/enhancements to PowerView/Power BI, etc... are going to happen in Office 365 but may not be happening for SharePoint on premise.
Does anyone have any more details on this or have they heard similar?
I've seen the Power BI blog talking about new releases and enhancements each month, which I assume SharePoint PowerView is not getting those enhancements?

Perhaps I am just confused by the shared name of Power View in Office 365 and SharePoint?

Trying to install adobe acrobat pro 9 on a new laptop after deactivating it on old laptop. After installation I get Update check for some reason then doesn't let me go any further Anyone know why this is?

OK so I have deactivated and uninstall the version off the old laptop, then reinstalled the version on the new laptop. When you go to open a document it says it wants to do an upgrade check for some reason, anyone know why this is? It will not take the serial number after that and it doesn't show the version we have in the drop down list.

What operating system are you running on the new laptop? If it's a current OS, then it may be incompatible with Acrobat 9. Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-acrobat-family-prod ucts.html.
It could also be that you're trying to install an upgrade, and the installer is looking for the serial number for the previous version (is the previous version listed in the drop-down list?).

How do I re-install the creative suite I bought when new laptop doesn't have cd option?

I installed Adobe Creative Suite with the installation cd on my old laptop (mac). Now I have a new laptop (macbook pro retina) and this laptop doesn't have a cd. I downloaded creative suite on new laptop. Now when I try to save a file, the program crashes and the file I was working on is lost (and not saved). How to solve this problem?

Nobody can tell you anything without proper technical details like what program you actually mean, where you save and so on.

MacBook Air stolen recently. Can I re-install my purchased standalone LR5 onto a new laptop?

I purchased a standalone version of LR5 in February of this year.My MacBook Air was stolen a few days ago (so sad), and I want to know - can re-install LR5 onto a new laptop (I have the serial number and my previous laptop was the first installation)?
This is a side question that perhaps I need to post into another thread, but I have over 7000 photos backed up onto an external HD, many of which were edited, yet previously I had lost many of those edits when I retrieved the images from the ext HD.
I have been managing my library outside of LR5 and only making LR5 aware of the location when I am editing a set, rather than importing into a main catalog inside of LR5. If the raw files are saved elsewhere (ext HD for example), then where is the non-destructive edit information saved, and should I be doing something different in the future in order to preserve the edits I have made?
Typically, when I am finished with a set, I have been exporting them as full-sized jpegs, which I know are saved, but how do I keep from losing the edits that haven't been exported?

Office 365 Pro Plus install failures during SCCM OSD

I'm in the process of deploying Office 365Pro Plus using SCCM 2012 r2 and have found some very weird behaviour. I have already downloaded the source and the Office folder exists in the same folder as setup.exe and my install xml looks like this:

The install starts but completes after 5 seconds and OfficeSetup.txt shows Products configured successfully. Looking at other logs that are generated I can see a number of interesting entries:

A error code that does not seem to have been passed back to the main log:

A fatal error of FileNotFound:
Click-To-Run   amcq9   Unexpected   CCS::IsReachable. Source (C:\Windows\ccmcache\b\Office\Data\15.0.4623.1003\Office\Data\15.0.4623.1003\stream.x86.en-us.dat) not reachable. Exception FileNotFound (Source
not reachable.)
I believe this last error is the root cause of the failures at the source directory seems to have been added to the file path twice. The streamfile is located in C:\Windows\ccmcache\b\Office\Data\15.0.4623.1003 but something is adding and additional \Office\Data\15.0.4623.1003
to the path which does not exist.
This is a massive issue for us which is preventing deployment so any help is greatly appreciated.

What's the entire SoucePath that you entered in your Confirguration.XML file? Please try to remove "Office\Data\15.0.4623.1003" from it and have a try again.

What do you mean by refuse to run again?
Do you see anything happens or may nbothing happens once launching and extracting the installation software?
Will you see the error prior clicking on Install or may you not even getting to this screen?
IS there any specific error message?
Please clarify with some more details, I assume from your decription that nothing happens when running the downloaded installation file but it will help confirming it prior guiding you with any furhter steps.
