MS Word -- Formatting Palette "genies" to where I can't get it!

I've been using the formatting palette...I've had no problems clicking it on and off...until I turned my computer on and their was no palette.
Clicking the icon "genied" it off the screen.
Tile-ing the applications does not reveal it either.
Changing the resolution of the screen also does not help.
What do I do?
Much appreciated!

Delete the relevant Word Preference files
Close Word.
Home > Library > Preferences > Microsoft
Make a back up of the relevant Word preference files and then delete the originals.

You'll want to fix this via the online system you used to create the PDF.
If all content mastering and page configuration is done online then that is where you must make a correction to what you did before.
If a file is uploaded to the online system for processing then you must revisit that file.
Open the file with its native application and correct page size there.
If you upload a scanned image to the online system you must configure the scanner software to output the needed page size.

HT1600 I have an Apple TV 2nd Gen, iPad 2 and can't get the icon to appear when i swipe from left to right. What am I missing? I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.

I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.
Also using IPad 2 I am able to get the ITunes to accept the user name and same password as the Mac.
However, the only way I can see the 'Home sharing; icon is in Music on the Ipad. When I tap on the Icon it asks for a password.
When I give the same password, it is rejected.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

Office Mac 2004 S and T edition - Word - formatting palette disappears!

Open word document, click on 'formatting palette' in the toolbar, and lo! it 'genies' down and disappears off the bottom of my screen!
I've tried changing the screen settings, 'resetting' the toolbars, even uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2004, but all to no avail. It has only just started to do this, and is proving to be dashed annoying.
Does anyone have any pointers?

To add to the previous answers, please be aware that the BI Java patches actually correspond to 5 separate SCAs so you need to ensure they're all at the same level (and never use patch level 0):

I need Help with my Mac. We have a document that is on a thumb drive that was typed on a dell PC. We have a Mac at home and need to print the document. How do I get it to look the same as when on Microsoft word?

try NeoOffice or OpenOffice. I don't know what apps you have. Pages might open it or TextEdit, but, again, I don't know. All I can do is suggest. If you are really a stickler for format, if you're on that dell PC again, try saving the document as a .pdf and then putting it on the thumb drive.

Don't understand question, Changing iPod shouldn't affect iTunes on the computer you sync with. Plug in new iPod, it should take you through some screens of options asking how you want to setup the new iPod.

I synced my firefox and made format to my computer. I was hoping I can sync formated computer with my user. I even saved "firefox sync key". But now I can only make new sync and can' get my old passwords and bookmarks back. Is there any way i could get my passwords and bookmarks back?

Add that computer to the Sync service as a new device.

Contacts* and Contact Favorites (regularly sync contacts to a computer or cloud service such as iCloud to back them up).
* Your contacts are part of the backup to preserve recent calls and favorites lists. Back up your contacts to a supported personal information manager (PIM), iCloud, or another cloud-based service to avoid any potential contact data loss.
Sounds like you may have experienced some of the "contact data loss". I suggest using iCloud in the future.

Using word iCloud in description of app. Can this get you rejected?

I tried changing the description of my app in iTunes Connect to say that the app supports iCloud syncing and when I went to save it, I got a message saying "using the word iCloud may result in your app being rejected from the App Store". Has anybody ever heard of that? What is the logic behind this policy? Then I went back and editied the description to use iCloud in a sentence worded differently and it worked just fine. I am worried about being rejected now. Any thoughts?

Here's what Apple said after about a week of waiting:
Thank you for contacting the App Review team. Apple is not able to provide pre-approval for proposed application submissions or to review and comment on application concepts or code.
That said, iCloud is an Apple Trademark; you may use it referentially in the application description, but not as part of Keywords or App Name.
Weird that ITC generatest a warning when you use it in the app description though.
