Ms6123 m/b what cpu's can it take?

I have a MS6123 version 1 m/b in a system here and was wondering if someone could tell me what cpu's for that board would be able to take, i have look on the msi site and can only find the manual which shows the bois setting but nothing about what cpus it can take, i think at the moment it have a cel 233 in it 66 fsb no doubt but i notice that on the board it self it has printed a table for jumper settings that goes from 2.5 to 8?
can anyone help plz

i though maybe with it goin up to 8 on the table on the board but probably not

Check this manual at pg. 101 for compatible CPU that would work on the system
Also use that manual as your reference on replacing the part.
Make sure to check the Chipset model of your system and check that chipset model with Intel website and confirm that the CPU you want is listed there.

I've bought a M200 with a 1,5GHz Pentium M CPU.
Now I wanna put the fastest CPU in it. Which is the fastest CPU you can put in? Is it the Pentium M745, Pentium M745a or the Pentium M750?

Generally speaking CPU upgrade is not supported and using a little bit faster CPU your notebook will definitely not run faster than before.
If you need more performance upgrade RAM to maximum level and optimize preinstalled operating system.

What CPU would work on Satellite Pro A300-2C2

I know far more about desktop computers than I do laptop computers,
However last night my laptop completely froze and held the current sound (making a kind of buzzing sound).
I thought nothing of it at the time however it wasn't coming responsive again so I held down the power button and went to sleep. When I awoke this morning I booted up my laptop, but it did not boot.
The motherboard is not broken as it is givin power to lights and disc drives ect...
I am basically wondering what CPU's will work in the a300 2c2,
I HOPE it isn't soldered in but I have not confirmed that yet as I have to go out in a moment, thus I cannot open her up.

Indeed, the usage of the same CPUs which were used previously in other Satellite Pro A300 should be possible.
I read somewhere in the internet that Toshiba Satellite A300 /Satellite Pro A300 and Equium A300 are similar series and used CPUs should be compatible.
The chipset seems to handle the Penryn and Merom CPUs.

Hi guys. i will be purchasing adobe production premium but before i do this i have question. For adobe premiere cs4. My question is editing in HD CPU system requirements are dual 2.8GHz for HD. Now if i get quad core AMD 2.5 ghz will i still be able to edit in hd since its not 2.8 ghz but it is quad core. Or i have to have 2.8 ghz even thought i have quad core 2.5. I only want to uograde my cpu.

Satellite 1800-400, what cpu?

Just got me a second hand 1800-400 but finding it a little slow. I've order more RAM(256) to go with the 128 it already has. Hopefully this will help.
But I was thinking, What other/faster CPU's can this little machine handle? I can get a P3 1Ghz cpu from ebay cheap but would the system run it?

Hi,
I have looked at the specs of some other Satellite 1800 models and found out that they are using different processors. Most of them are using Celeron 1.0GHz and 1.1GHz. I also found a model with P3 1.0GHz (1800-804). But I think it is using another chipset, so I'm not sure if you can use a P3.
By the way I don't think that a little better CPU will increase the performance so much. Upgrading RAM is more effective.

HP Officejet Pro K850 Up to what paper thickness can be used eg gsm

I purchased the K850 for my scrapbooking hobby to take 30cm x 30cm (12in x 12in) sheets. I was told that it would take the cardstock i would be using. However when I printed it would not print on the cardstock. The card was picked up and went straight through without printing. Can anyone tell me what gsm paper it will take. The cardstock I was using I read on the net is between 200 and 216gsm.

I tried a new Ethernet cable hard wired between the printer and the router. Since the computer is wired via an Ethernet cable to the router and the router is wired directly to the printer, one would think the computer would see the printer but it won't.
I also tried a brand new 10 foot USB cable between the computer and the printer, it failed and it wouldn't install the software either.
I am adding a 2nd hard drive next week and going dual boot, that should work on the new drive at least.
An associate, who is the best networking guy in town, just left my house after trying for 2 hours to find a cure or the problem, he finally gave up. Like me, he thinks it may be something in the registry.
