Ms9 files export as jpg or bmp

Hello  everybody,
My problem and my question is:
is it possible to export a circuit from Multisim9 as Bmp or jpg?
Because I can´t print a Circuit at a DIN A3 scape.
Without making a screenprint
Quick reply much appriciated.

Hi there,
There is a screen capture tool in Multisim that will allow you to capture an area of the screen and save it to the system clipboard.  You can then paste the image into a graphics application of your choice (eg. Paint) and save it as a bitmap or jpeg.
1. Select Tools > Capture Screen Area; this will allow you to select the portion of the circuit you would like to save as a .bmp.  Move/resize the box as desired.
2. Click Copy
3. Open Paint (or another program of you liking)
4. Paste the image
5. Save the image
Hope this helps.

  • How do I convert a pdf file to a jpg or bmp file?

    I have a Mid 2010 iMac OX Yos 10.10.1 with an HP all in one printer/scanner. I am scanning a document to file and it is saving as a pdf I am trying to edit the document and the program i use to edit things like this is Paintbrush. However, for me to use this app to edit my project, the file must be in jpg or bmp format. Scanning the file as a photo to file is not an option either because for some odd reason it only scans the upper right hand corner of the document. I need to get this done TODAY any help on how to convert/change a file format would be AWESOME and would be indebted for life !!!!
    Thank you
    Stacielou

    Scanning to a PDF is a waste of time. I really don't understand why people do that. All you're doing is embedding a raster image (a TIFF, JPEG, etc.) inside a container file (the PDF). It doesn't save a bit of space. Scan images to what they are; a raster file.
    Your problem though is your junky scanning software doesn't work as it's supposed to when you do choose JPEG, or other raster pixel format, and only correctly scans the area you want when you choose PDF.
    Open the PDF in Preview and export it as the highest quality JPEG, or a TIFF. You'll then be able to open it in Paintbrush.

  • Why does File- Export process jpgs where I have made no changes?

    Hi, I'm new to Lightroom.  I would like to make LR my photo management software of choice for managing my huge personal collection of photographs.  I've flagged keepers and tagged photos accordingly: Food, people names, etc.
    What I would like to do now is find all photos marked with the tag "JapanVacation2009" and export them to disk so I can bring them to a friend's house and share them.  When I click File->Export, I see that even though I've make tone and exposure changes to less than 1% of my my photos, LR reprocesses every photo!
    What I want is that for photos where I have made some kind of change, yes, please process and create the new version of the photo.  For photos where I have made no change except for adding tags, please, please, just copy the file into the export directory!!! It's faster AND I really didn't want my photos reprocessed.
    I am sitting here waiting for these files to be exported (reprocessed)-- this is taking forever!  I generally take my photos in jpg because I'm really going to make very few changes to my photos-- I know that I could take them in RAW, but I find this inconvenient for my workflow.
    Please help. If I can't find a resolution, I'm going to have to investigate something like Picasa.
    LR gurus, what do I do???

    Folders are irrelevant to LR as an organisational tool. LR will search, create collections or smart collections based on whatever criteria you set.It is a very quick and effective organisational tool once you have learnt how to use it.
    When exporting from LR to a lossy format such as a jpg if the file is already compressed and you re compress it then this will result in further loss of quality. That is always the case when using JPGs. If you export at 100% ( no further compression) then no loss of quality will occur due to compression, but obviously re processing a processed 8 bit format such as a JPG will always result in some quality loss. If you have made no changes to the original JPG in LR and then export it at 100% then LR just produces a copy of the original and no loss of quality will occur.  JPG should really be treated as a finished format and no further processing applied. If you wish to process your images then retain the RAW file, or if scanning, scan to a 16 bit file such as TIFF to minimise any quality loss as a result of processing.
    Exporting times are very quick from LR as long as your machine is well set up and has enough RAM. 600 images with few changes dependent on the size of the image would only usually take a few minutes to export to a disk dependent on the speed of the disk. Obviously if you are exporting to a slow hard drive, to things like DVD's and CD's, have little RAM or lots of other applications running in the background this can slow things down, there are lots of tips around here and elsewhere on how to set up your computer to get the best out of LR.

  • Raw files exporting in JPG coming out too low resoltion?

    I am somewhat new to using a mac/aperture vs. PS/PC . I have uploaded and edited my photos in RAW. I am having trouble with the program downscaling my photos too much. I have changed the preset to high quality JPEG and the quality up to 12. But, for instance, my file size in RAW (22.65 MB) is scaling itself down to 684KB(JPEG) when i try to export or burn it to disk. I am great with a camera, but lacking in computer skills!, so I apologize if this doesn't make complete sense or if i'm missing something simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks

    How are you exporting? Dragging from the browser or using File > Export > Version?
    If you're using the export function, what is your export preset?

  • How can I do to convert a ".PNG" image file to a ".JPG" or ".BMP" one?

    My problem is to save an image (after processing and with overlay information!) to a standard file (JPG, BMP, ...); if I do it directly with the related VI's, the overlay information is lost; I can save the image in a ".PNG" file, which contains the complete information with overlay, but is not displayable on a LabView-less PC ! How can I do?
    Thank you for your prompt answers.
    Francois

    Hello Francois,
    As you noted, BMP and JPG file formats do not support overlay information. There are two approaches to your problem.
    1. Write to PNG file. PNG is not a LabVIEW specific file format. It cannot, however, be read by simple programs such as Windows Paint. Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, among other more robust image viewing and editing programs can handle PNG files that LabVIEW generates.
    2. Flatten the overlay information into the main image before writing to BMP or JPG. I don't believe this functionality is built-in to LabVIEW, so this would require some programming, perhaps quite difficult. That is why LabVIEW supports PNG files.

  • Lightroom 5.6 won't apply watermarks to my images when I export; Nikon D610 RAW files exporting in .jpg

    I am working with .NEF files from a Nikon D610 in Lightroom 5.6.  When I go to export and choose add text watermark, the files are exported but the text watermark is not added.  Occasionally some of the images from the batch will have the watermark, but it will only be some, not all.  Anyone else run into this problem?

    What is the file format you choose to export as? If it is ORIGINAL or DNG, you will not get watermarks.

  • Export to JPG

    Hi
    I was looking for exporting the ai file to jpg file using the SDK CS4
    I was able to export the ai file to jpg file through the plugin based on the some code from the fourms
    the issue is i get an html file along with the jpg file when i do a PlayActionEvent
    I tried to export from File->Export as jpg where i dont get an html file
    I know for sure i have missed some code
    i have set AIActionParamValueRef vpb values for FileName, Format, and Extension
    error = sAIActionManager->PlayActionEvent(kAIExportDocumentAction,kDialogOff,vpb);
    I dont get any error, but along with the jpg the html gets created in the Path i have mention
    i just want to omit the HTML file
    What are the other settings do i need to set
    Thanks
    Sri

    This exact thing happened to me.  If I recall correctly, the 'parm' part of your value perameter block is probably not set up exactly correctly.  You might have too little or too much information in there byte-wise.  Here's an example of a structure of values that will work for the 'parm' property:
    typedef struct
        long quality;
        long kind;
        long scans;
        long antialias;
        AIFixed resolution;
        long colorModel;
        long alwaysTrue;
        long unused[18];
    } jpegExportParametersCS4;

  • Lost CR files after exporting to jpg

    I seem to have lost many original CR files after import > developing > export as jpg.  I had made selects to develop and then output images as lower rez jpgs.  When I went back to the original folders (on an external hd) those CR select files were missing / a gap in the photo sequence now exists and I cannot locate the originals regardless of searches.  How is this possible?

    Lightroom does not delete your photos unless you specifically tell Lightroom to do so, and this wouldn't happen in an Export operation anyway.
    So I don't know how this is possible, but I'm pretty sure it can't be blamed on Lightroom
    You need to:
    1) check the Recycle bin; or if that doesn't work
    2) restore the photos from backups, or if you don't have backups (why not?); or if that doesn't work
    3) you can try to download something called an undelete utility and install it and see if it can find these photos (and if you are going to need this step, perform it immediately, do not do anything else on your computer)

  • Export to jpg - limit file size vs resize to fit - best option or same?

    Hi,
    Sorry if this has been asked before, I take a large number of event images and the usual client request for images being sent to the press is image size rather than resolution, dimensions or other requirements.
    Clearly in LR3 if the client has requested 3MB jpg the easy option is to after processing take my Canon 5d mkii RAW file and just hit export to max 3MB jpg.
    My question is is it better - ie image quality better - to export by resizing longest edge to approx 3000 px and exporting to jpg which results in a similar file size, though different pixel dimensions? Or are they effectively the same?
    Any thoughts?
    Many thanks in advance on best practice....
    Cheers,
    dxbluey

    To tell you the truth, a client asking for a 3MB JPG is a very meaningless thing to do.
    Any time you are changing the number of pixels on a side, you are changing the image quality. Any time you are forcing the photo to be a certain size in MB other than the maximum, you are accepting a certain reduction in image quality. Which is worse? It all depends on the original, and how much change you are asking for.
    So, that's my answer ... IT ALL DEPENDS.

  • Export Results in Unix Executable Files Instead of .jpg

    When I try to export an album to a folder, the exported files are in "unix executable file" format instead of .jpg
    How do I fix this?
      Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Harley:
    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. In the file export window have you selected jpg or "original format" and have the Add extension checkbox checked?
    Do the exported files have a extension? If so and it's jpg, then select on and bring up the Info window for it (Command-I). Then under default application select Preview and click on the Apply to all.. button. If you prefer to use a 3rd party editor like Photoshop or PS Elements then select that and click on the Apply to all... button. But the files should have an extension.

  • Using the value "Image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of preconfigured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .?

    On a form, using the value "image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of pre-configured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .ico, .svg, .svgz, .tif, .tiff, .ai, .drw, .pct, .psp, .xcf, .psd, .raw)?
    Say I wanted to add .gif, .jfif or .ico. I find this array limited, how can I add types to image?
    <input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*" id="file" />
    mimeTypes.rdf does not seem to allow this.

    ''mimeTypes.rdf'' has nothing to do with web development. It's a file that stores your file handling preferences (e.g. if you want ZIP files automatically saved or opened).
    You can't change the file types of the pre-defined content specifiers (audio/*, video/*, image/*), but you can specify additional MIME types. To add PDF to your above example,
    <pre><nowiki><input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*,application/pdf" id="file" /></nowiki></pre>

  • Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File - Export - Album name with number).

    Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File -> Export -> Album name with number).
    Exporting a single Event retains the Event name which is what I'd expect. But highlighting more than one event and exporting it renames the images to Events 001.JPG, Event 002.JPG etc.
    I was recently on holidays and had all my events nicely split on Dad's computer but when I went to export it I couldn't retain any of this information. Now I have to replicate this all again on my computer.
    It wasn't possible to export the entire library as the external drive was fat32 format an I didn't want all of it. It would be nice to export a bunch of events to someone and have it retain the name.
    Does anyone have a work around or will this be fixed at some point by Apple?

  • Export to jpg does not contain comments (or I can't see them)

    Hi,
    I've run into a problem that I've not been able to fix.  I'm hoping the collective wisdom here can help me.
    My problem is that when I export a pfd (from an imported jpg) back to a jpg file, the newly created jpg does not contain the comments/markups I've made.  One day I could do this, the next day I couldn't.  It's possible that I somehow changed preferences or something.  I'm not sure.
    While trying to figure this out I discovered that if I export that same jpg file (containing comments) with a watermark, then all the comments are visible.  Watermark off, exported jpg does not contain comments.
    To solve the problem I have:
    I have tried to change all preferences back to default settings.  (not sure if I found them)
    I have uninstalled/reinstalled Acrobat without success.
    I have also deleted the registry file without success.
    I read that one way to solve the problem is to print a file with the comments to pdf, then export that pdf file back to jpg.  That works, but I'd like to avoid the extra step.
    Any thoughts or suggestions?
    Thanking you in advance.
    Robert

  • BUG: Indesign CC 2014 - significant image artifacts with 'export as JPG'

    Issue
    Spreads exported from InDesign as maximum quality JPGs have heavy artifacts not present in PDF's with equivalent image compression settings.
    Steps
    Export spread to JPG (max, baseline, 300ppi)
    Export spread to PDF (image compression set to JPG, maximum)
    Compare both files in Photoshop at 100%
    Results
    Maximum quality JPGs are significantly artifacted.
    Expected Results
    Maximum quality JPGs should be identical to PDF images with equivalent image compression settings (and should be virtually indistinguishable from original files sized equivalently in Photoshop (and saved via Photoshop's 'Save for Web').
    Please Note
    I'm very familiar with the limitations of JPG's in pre-press work. Please trust that I have legitimate reasons for needing InDesign to export spreads as JPGs with the same image quality as is possible when exporting as a PDF (or using Photoshop's 'Save For Web' function with the source file sized identically as the spread in question.)
    Samples
    exhibit A: spread exported as PDF (compression set to JPG, maximum quality)
    exhibit B: spread exported as JPG (maximum quality)

    Rob,
    Thank you for running your test!
    Since posting (and just before reading your reply), I discovered an additional constraint on replicating the issue:
    –it only appears when the linked image has been upscaled* (in my example, 107.1%)
         *keep in mind, the PDF was upscaled to the same degree, ruling out it being solely an upscaling issue
    –testing at 'even-magnification' scales (i.e. 150%) simply resulted in increased pixelation compared to the same PDF export (see samples below)
    –testing at 'odd-magnification' scales (i.e. 101%) generated random artifacts (like those visible in the samples of my initial post)
    –as such, this is likely more of a resampling/aliasing issue than jpg-artifacting.
    That is, it would seem that upscaled images seem to enjoy a higher-quality resampling method when exported as PDFs.
    I'd be curious to see how your test fared with upscaled images.
    samples
    image scaled at 150%, exported as PDF (compression set to JPG, maximum quality)
    image scaled at 150%, exported as JPG (maximum quality, anti-alias**)
         **tested with & without anti-aliasing, results were identical

  • [JS CS3/4] Export to JPG ok on PC, not on Mac

    Hello,
    with that simple routine, I can get a correct export on a PC but no file at all on a Mac.
    Is that a know issue, something I do wrong ?
    app.activeDocument.exportFile (ExportFormat.JPG, (new File(Folder.desktop+"/test.jpg")), false)
    TIA Loic

    Hi and thanks a lot for your input,
    It worked.
    It seems that the script didn't like I ask it to retrace the path to the desktop by itself. But if I convert the path info to a string it's ok.
    This works :
    app.activeDocument.exportFile(ExportFormat.JPG, (new File('~/Desktop/test.jpg')), false)
    This too :
    var myFilePath = String(Folder.desktop + '/test.jpg');
    app.activeDocument.exportFile(ExportFormat.JPG, (new File(myFilePath )), false)
    But that fails
    app.activeDocument.exportFile(ExportFormat.JPG, (new File(Folder.desktop + '/test.jpg')), false)
    Thanks a lot for your answer.
    Loic
