MSA: no application after login

Hello experts,
after starting msa I get the logon-screen, but when I enter pw and press return
nothing happens, msa-applications does not come up.
When I put wrong pw into logon-screen I get popup that wrong pw is given.
Now I should know what the error could be for this behaviour ?
I've reregistered the dlls in bin.net-folder, but the same problem.

honesty spoken I am not sure now whether it is possible respectively necessary at all to register the .NET dlls like msa.dll and sfabol.dll...
What you could do for testing is to change the odbc source for the IDES DB i.e. direct to another database on another machine.
If MSA is starting then sth must be wrong with the local DB.
If also not then sth with the local binaries must be wrong.

It sounds like you essentially have a new computer and unless you restored from a backup your iTunes library would be empty. You can transfer your iTunes purchases from your iPod to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
SInce you changed syncing computers. after you move the stuff you need to restore the iPod to factory defaults and sync the stuff back to your iPod. If you had the iPod backup file you could restore from backup.
If you have non-iTunes pruchases you can copy them to your computer by using one of the third-party programs discussed in this previous discussion:

How to remove AppStore application from autorun after login in to system?

I installed Yosemite (on clean disk) and now after login in to the system, it every time ask me about my credentials to AppStore and run Appstore application when I do enter apple login. What should I do for remove it from autorun?
P.S. I do not see AppStore application in System Setting -> Users & Groups -> Login items.

You could try booting into Safe Mode to see if that will help. And "Repair Permissions" in Disk Utility.
Have you got Keychain set to open on Login or is it attempting to open on it's own.

User NOT able to login again to BSP application after logging off

Hi Experts,
What the user is doing?
Step 1: User logged into BSP Application. Result: Successful login
Step 2: User logged off from BSP Application. Result: Successful log off
Step 3. User again tries to log into BSP Application with correct login credentials. Result : LOGIN FAILURE
What is being displayed onto the screen after step 3?
1. Login screen does not changes.
2. It does not show any error/warning messages.
3. Next screen, after login screen is NOT being displayed.
What the user does next?
User is deleting all the cookies & cache, and again trying to log into BSP application. Result : Successful login
Question:
Everytime, the user logs off from the BSP application, and again tries to login, he/she is NOT able to login without clearing the cookies and cache.
First, the user has to clear cookies and cache, then ONLY he/she is able login.
Can you please advice on this?

Menu tabs disappear completely after login and appears if only i press on item node at hire level

I'm using a Menu Model to Create a Page Hierarchy in my adf application on Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
it is in three levels level 1 have 2 item nods (home - Help) displayed as buttons
                            level 2   contains 5 item nods about the managements displayed as tabs
                            level 3   is about reports displayed as list
the point I have apply security in the application using Adf security wizard and i assign roles and users and grants
all works fine but level 2 tabs disappear completely after login and appears if only i press on Home item node at run time
I create 2 users (admin) has all roles and can view all tabs in level 2 of my navigation and another user (emp) which can view one Tab page in level 2
Point 1 --the item nod are rendered according the #{securityContext.regionViewable['oracle.view.pageDefs.RentManagPageDef']}     (EL ) expression language
and other item nod render property are set as the same but in the page name definition
it works fine
_ Point 2 in my page template I set #{menuInfo.rendered} for renderd property of the command navigation item
it works fine
- point 3 I add a go link in my template to explicit perform log in log out from the app and redirect the user to the required page

in another words i log in as user (admin) i get directed to the successful log in page in the link go but level 2 tabs are invisible or not rendered at all    I click on Home button in level1 navigation the tabs
become rendered or viewable and i navigate normally
I log out as admin the level 2 tabs becomes invisible again
then I log in as (emp) i get directed to the successful log in page and level 2 tabs are still invisible or not rendered
I click on Home button in level1 navigation the only one tab the user emp authorized to it gets rendered (appears)
and its semi correct behavior because this is what I want him to see only
my tries to find solution
I tride to use

on the menu node item   I found same behavior level 2 tabs gets hidden till i click on home link at run time

and it is using the same as i did from adf tutorials
I tried to make new navigation app on fast
maybe i made incorrect change in any stage of my original app
but I found same behavior
I tried to set disabled property instead of rendered property the tabs are always rendered   but I got server error when I click on a tab which a user does not authorized
So I doubt maybe problem in the El or the way I use to control rendering item node
or there additional step to stop all the tabs disappear after login
I hope please some one Help or tell me what i have to read about in the developer guide or interface developer guide or article on the web

One test to run is to print the outcome of the security evaluation (e.g. output text) to see what it returns.

This started after battery got fully drained accidentally.
It has happened in the past after battery gets fully drained accidentally, and I have to reboot several times until it boots properly.
This time I tried rebooting several times but it never booted properly
Tried booting into Safe Mode, by restart Mac while holding down theShift key past the chime, until I saw the Apple logo and spinning gear. I did NOT see the spinning gear change into a solid progress bar. I also did NOT see OS X login window with the words “Safe boot” in bright red.
I Tried booting Mac’s recovery system, by restarting Mac and holding down Command + R during boot. I ran Disk Utility and theVerify Disk option did NOT find any errors. Interestingly only 16 mb was found to be available on the 250 GB disk. Note: I have filevault2 encryption enabled

Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Blank Screen after Login

I am having an issue with an iMac that has OS X 10.5.8 installed.
Immediately after login I get a blank wallpapered screen (wallpaper is the same as wallpaper at login) w\ cursor. ...It never goes into the desktop where there is a taskbar and desktop icons. This started happening to a couple of my desktops after I installed ESET NOD32 4.0.12 for Mac (AntiVirus).
Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a fix.

You will have to see if you can start the computer via other means,
in that if you can start in SafeBoot mode, you may be able to be rid
of that anti-virus software. That likely is the problem's main cause.
SafeBoot mode: restart, hold Shift key, until you get log-in screen;
login to get to desktop. From here, you can do a few things, but the
computer is not running at full system usefulness. You may be able
to remove this AV software, or see if it has an Uninstaller; and also
you can repair disk permissions in Disk Utility. Among other tasks.
When done, restart normally. (You could also boot from install disc
and use the menu options to run Disk Utility, and other jobs.)
If the product did not come with an Uninstaller in its software, you
may have to try & remove it by other means. These things will put
more into the computer's OS than just an item in the Utilities or
Applications folder; so an Uninstaller is likely a necessity. There
are a few shareware and free ware uninstallers, such as AppDelete
available online as downloads. If you can't find an Uninstaller in the
software you installed (may be in the app's folder in Mac) you may
have to contact the products customer support and ask how you
are to remove the entire product and its parts from your Mac.
If you are lucky, they may actually know where you could go in and
carefully remove those bits; and luckier still, if there is an uninstaller.

Waiting components some time to be rendered after login

Hi all,
I have an ADF application with a login page. When I run the application for the first time with integrated weblogic server and click the login button
,go to the second page after login, it takes about 5 seconds for the all components to be rendered in the second page.
Actually , at first, only the icon and toolbar of a panelbox is shown and after some time (about 5 sec), all the remaining components( that are inside other
panelboxes) are shown...
After this first run, there is no problem . I login , logout and login again without any waiting.. I also try with other browsers (without re-run from jdev)
open the first login page,login with other users and there is still no problem ..
What I want to ask is that , when I deploy this application to a production environment, will all the users live this problem when they run the application for the first time ?

and in the fourth pbox, there is a questionnaire application:
a panelFormLayout, questions with "First","Next","Previous" and "Last" buttons ( based on a entity based VO )
and selectOneRadio for options of the question ( based on a query based VO)
and a button to vote ( request scoped managed bean - this bean also calls a method in AppModuleImpl class to insert the user's answer into dbase)
and a graph to show results ( based on a query based VO)
and some bindings to show user's choice if the user has already answered that question..
questions VO are linked to options VO, graph VO and answers VO ...
and there is also a session scoped managed bean ( that sets some variables about user-environment etc.) when the user comes
to second page..

How to change an after login page?

Does anyone knows how to change an after login page from a default page 1 to, let's say page 200?

The URL to run your application is http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=23533.
If you use this, page 3 is the first page shown after login.
Using the URL you gave runs the Application Builder, not your application. If you use the Builder's Run Application icon to run your application, the page in your application that you are requesting is page 1 (or whatever is in the application's Home URL attribute). But running your application this way is something you do in a development environment only
Your basic question has to do with how end users would get to a particular after-login page. End users do not have access to the Application Builder.

WSM ccore after login gets 500 Internal Server Error

Having issues with wsm ccore console . After login I get 500 internal error, Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
Letf hand side Menu is available. Also the ccore appliction log shows some class exceptions. I am not sure what is wrong here, i have tried to compare server.xml and other configuration files with a working environment but still no luck. Appreciate any pointers.

Session state always invalid after login

Hello community,
i have a functional login process which uses my own login with username and password. After login i branch to application start page, but this session now is different from the start login session, so every login is invalid and will branch to authentication scheme invalid page.
My login url is: f?p=100:100:123456
After correct login (i have tested in the database with a lot of inserts into tmp_table)
i want to branch with the standard login procedure wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login() to page 1000.
The correct url is shown in the browser, but the current page is the login page 100, because (i think) the session is invalid. In the authentication theme the invalid session page is set to page 100.
I have tested several pages and always this page is branched.
So im shure, that the session state is always invalid after login.
But why ????
Has anyone an idea ?

Hi Jari,
problem was solved.
The IE8 has cached an invalid site.
I know now were it is come from.
I have an after submit process which sets the cookie with following code:
owa_util.mime_header('text/html; charset=UTF-8;', FALSE);
owa_cookie.send(
name=>'DHW_COOKIE',
value=>utl_raw.cast_to_raw(dbms_obfuscation_toolkit.md5(input_string => ':P100_REGCODE' || :P100_USERNAME ))
owa_util.http_header_close;
But this results in display on the screen like html text without tags, so it looks like text on the screen header.
It shows "content-type=text/html charset=WINDOWS 1252 .......
The cookie is not set to the disk and now the IE8 explorer is dead.
The described problem of this thread is shown.
If you close all sessions and restart IE8 then the error is fixed.
Also i have disabled the after submit process with setting the cookie.
So i live now without having a cookie set.
Do you have any idea for this behaviour ?

Navigate to correct page after login

Hi Ben
I have a list of links that navigate to different pages. Some of the pages that the links navigate to require authorisation, so page 101 is presented to the user. When the user successfully logs in, page 101 directs them to page 1 (home). How can I make the users experience smoother by taking them on to the page that they expected to go to. Some times this page will be in a different application.

When you use that first format (P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':1'), the result should be that the after-login page is the page originally requested (the deep link). If no page was requested, say you just specified the application ID in the run link, then the after-login page will be the current application's page 1.
When you use that second format (P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID), the result should be that the after-login page is the page originally requested (the deep link). If no page was requested, say you just specified the application ID in the run link, then the application's Home Link attribute would be used for the after-login URL.
