MSC2n- Batch Available from Field.

Hi,
We have Batch "Available from" - field in MSC2n,We are not very sure about the effect of this field.
As we aware, if we enter some date here, that particular batch is available from that date and if the UD is done also the batch will still not available for use.
Is this (date )gets considered for MRP run?
Is there anyother consideration/implecation if we enter the date here "Available from".

Hi,
In the process order for which batch determination is done in the goods receipt tab there is storage location maintained.
In the material master of the component in MRP2 and in BOM , production storage location is not maintained .
But same was the case with quality system but there it is working.
dont know whay this is like this .
first of all how system do batch determination from a bacth where there is no available stock ? what is happening is determination is happening from the batch where no availabe stock is there , process order's material tab , component line is getting updated accordingly . But when we try to do Goods issue as stock is not there for the batch we are getting error and every time we need to go to COR2 and change batch manually
please advice further on this

HP Driver "Can't install because it is not available from Software Update Server"

Proplem: Can't use my HP Officejet 6500 E709n on my MacBook Pro, even using USB connection.    I click on sign, get add printer window showing the HP 6500 printer as USB Multifunction. I select and press 'add'. I get 'setting up ...' window. After a while I get the error window, "Can't install the software for the HP Office jet 6500 E709n because it is not currently available from Software Update Server." Only option is cancel.
HP site says that it supports Mountain Lion and the only way to get the driver is through Apple's Software Update.
Apple's site says Mountain Lion supports HP 6500 printer.
The Windows 7 computer on the netword prints fine to it.
I would really like to get this connected. Does anyone have a clue why the driver is not on the Software Update Server what the fix is?

Fantastic, Mene1 & John. Thank you. I deleted the HP Folder, deleted trash, reboot, and reinstalled. USB installed like a charm. Was able to print and scan.   I even noticed that the Fax printer came up for both USB and 192.168.1.65. I installed the fax printer for the network and it works great without USB.
However, the network for the printer never showed up in the list. I tried IP option and entered the address. It correctly identified the printer in the "use" field. However, when I click on 'add' is has a window that says, "Unable to verify the printer on your network. Unable to contact to '192.168.1.65' due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer?"   I choose Continue, and it creates the printer. Printing, it just sits there trying to connect with the printer.    Again, the printer is hardwired into my home network and I am using my AT&T U-verse Wi-Fi connection to my MacBook Pro (which works for Fax on the printer).
Any ideas?

Messages in Mail have no "From" field

Weird little thing.
I had an account set up as IMAP up until recently, when Exchange became available. So I switched to an Exchange (2010) connection as natively supported.
A month later, I'm just now noticing something very, very strange: when configured as Exchange, messages I send through that account are being saved in the appropriate Sent folder, but the headers don't seem to contain a From: field. Messages sent through OWA on the same account have From: properly written into the header.
I'm looking at long headers for both, and the OWA-sent messages appear correctly. The ones sent through Apple Mail have the subject, date, to, and the usual other fields -- including X-Mailer: Apple Mail -- but there is no From: field.
Was trying to import some sent mail into Gmail for safekeeping and noticed a whole bunch of "(unknown)" appearing in the from/to column.
Anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

The following test might be helpful in deciding what to try next: Create a New User Account, and as that New User try to set up the Exchange account. If not familiar with setting up a New User Account, see:

This will be a useful test to now check this behavior in another User Account, and of course is not meant to suggest a permanent switch to the New User Account, but rather a test of the Mail application outside of your normal User Account and its existing setup data.
If all works as it should in the New User account, then in the original user account I would next try removing the com.apple.mail.plist file at Home/Library/Preferences, after quitting Mail -- could remove both accounts before doing or not, since as Exchange or IMAP (Gmail?) no messages would be lost. Relaunch Mail, and if you did not remove the account, simply re-enter the account set data. If you didn't remove them, Decline to Import anything even if prompted.

OC4J_BPEL no port available from the port range

To All,
We could not start our BPEL Process Manager and OC4J_BPEL. We have shut down and restarted the Linux server repeatedly and re-running the IRCA. All stacks are running except the OC4J_BPEL and BPM.
We keep receiving the following message when we start the BPM:

OraBPEL : OC4J_BPEL - failed to start a managed process after the maximum retry limit

Our OraBPEL is on a single HP NetServer LH6000 with Red Head AS 3.0, Oracle 10g DB and AS middle tier all in the same machine. The server was running a batch BPEL process. After running 2 hrs and process 12,000 records it was brought down by a single runtime exception. We were able to bring back the Oracle 10g AS middle tier but not the OC4J_BPEL instance. Any help would be appreciated.

I changed the OC4J_BPEL port from 3201 to 3211 fix the problem. It was conflicted with the home instance that is using port 3201. However that still can not get rid of the OC4J-BPEL failed to start a managed process after the maximum retry limit.

Outlook 2010 - Exchange 2013 - Meeting request "from" field

We have a shared mailbox that the company uses, each user has full access to the mailbox, within this mailbox is a calendar. If person A creates a meeting in this calendar and invites person B, when person B accepts the acceptance goes to the inbox of the
shared mailbox, not the inbox of the user who invited them. Is there a way I can use a "from" field in meeting requests" so acceptances go to the invitee?

Hi Dave,
This is the expected behavior of Outlook according to your conditions, and there is no option available to change it.
As a workaround, we can create a meeting in the user's own calendar, and then add the shared mailbox as an attendee of the meeting. In this way, the meeting will show in the shared calendar and the meeting responses will be sent to the meeting creator's
mailbox.

Why is the FROM field in Task Details not always populated on in-flight BPs

On a BP, the Task Details section contains a "From:" and a "To:" field.
1. If I am the assignee, the From and To fields are populated.
2. If I am NOT the assignee, the From field is empty, but the To field is populated. The behavior is the same whether the assignee accepted the task or not.
This becomes inconvenient, for example, on a coordination step with multiple inflows and outflows. If the From field were always populated, I could readily get a sense of the context of the current step without fishing through the timestamps of the Process Details, particularly if this step is revisited multiple times.
Granted, it's minor, but our users have noticed. Is there any reason for this?

Thank you for your reply. I changed the error handling as you suggested on the 2nd lookup to redirect to unmatched rows. Now I get all greet. I don't have the conditional split as in your diagram. But also, nothing appears to have
happened in the DB. Aren't the rows in my text file supposed to be added to the FactCurrencyRate table?
How do I get a conditional split?

Conditional Split was just dummy task. Ignore it.
Manipulate the data in such way that you get matching records.
Inside Source, for first 2 rows I put the dates which are available in DimDate.

Assign batch number from sale order to production order automatic

Dear all, I have a question for all. Please help me in this case
My scenario is make to order
I have a sale order, when i create sale order, i have assigned batch number at each line item.
When i run MRP for sale order (MD50), the system generate a planned order for it and I've converted to production order.
So when I view production order, I think that batch number what I've assigned to sale order will be assign to production order but that is not happen.
So, can you help me solve this problem. I think that sap can assign batch number from sale order to production order automatic but i don't know how to configure that

To the best of my knowledge, when system is generating planned order / production order from sales order system doesnt copy batch number from sales order.
In fact , you are following wrong practice for generating batch no.
Follow procedure like this :
Create sales order without any batch assigning there. Run MRP with MD50 and then convert planned order to Production Order.
While creation / releasing of Production order, you have option to generate batch automatically by following way :
Go to OPKP (Production Scheduling Profile) -> Take your plant & give suitable name to Production scheduling profile-> Batch Management tab -
> Automatic Batch creation in the order maintain this field as
1 Automatic batch creation at order creation
or
2 Autom. batch creation at order release
This will generate batch number automatically at the time of creation or release of order.
Then follow same process i.e. Goods Issue, Confirmation & GR for production order.
So you will get sales order stock in the form of batch managed.
Check & revert if any issue in above flow.

Why is a fillable, savable form on iPad taking 4ever to move from field to field when data entered?

How can I get my fillable, savable, calculated fields PDF form to move from field to field more quickly when entering data on an iPad/iPhone/handheld using the Adobe Reader app? I have tried everything I can find to reduce the file size, but to no avail. It is taking about 8-10 seconds to move from field to field after entering data. There is no problem filling in the form on a Mac laptop/desktop in regards to the lagtime. I haven't tried the form on any Windows OS product.
I suspect it has to do with the javascript, but I've tested other fill-in savable forms on my iPad (such as employer tax forms from IRS and State) and they work fine and move quickly. However, there are quite a lot of fields on this particular form I've created (270 to be exact - it is an order form for clothing with many size choices for each item), so perhaps it has to do with that as well. I came to this conclusion after creating one page of the form and it only took 3-4 seconds to move from field to field when entering data, but when I created the second page it went up to the 8-10 seconds.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am using Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.7.27 for/on iMac 10.7.5 2.5 GHZ Intel Core i5.

I have this issue as well. I created an expense tracking form using the Acrobat X basic calculation tool (not javascripts) and it takes 10 - 15 seconds to move to the next field on an iPad or Android device. On my PC it works great. HELP!
I also tried using a trial version of Acrobat XI with the same result.

It's because the envelope sender doesn't necessarily have to be the same as the header('From') email address. For legitimate mail, this doesn't come up, but spammers use this to try and bypass spam filters and such.
For example, here is what a potential smtp conversation between the Internet and the Ironport appliance:

(receiver) 250 ok
(sender) rcpt-to: [email protected]
(receiver) 250 ok

What happened above is perfectly legal. It is RFC compliant and it's not breaking any rules.
Now, what I would recommend to counter this is the following:
1. Would there be any scenario where both the header("From") and the header("To") would be the same domain, in this case, "ourcompany.org".
When two co-workers send mail to one another, should it stay on the mailserver and never hit the Ironport appliance.
If this is the case, we can implement an incoming content filter like the following:
Same_from_to_domain_in_headers_quarantine:
Conditions (All of the following must match):
header("From") == "ourcompany.com$"
header("To") == "ourcompany.com$"
Actions:
quarantine ("Policy")

Batch insert from object variable

Any way to do this excluding the foreach loop container? I have millions of rows and if it goes through them 1 by 1 it will take hours maybe days. How can you do a batch insert from an object variable without putting the sql task inside
a foreach loop container?

I know how to use the dataflow task but it will not work with what I am trying to do as far as I know. The script I am running is against a netezza box that creates temp tables and then returns a data set that I store in an object variable.
I then want to take the data from that object variable and batch insert it into a table. The only way I can see this being done is by looping through the record set in a foreach loop while mapping the fields to variables and inserting records one
at a time like I am doing in the screenshot above. This takes way to long to do. I am trying to figure out a way to do a batch insert using the data in this object variable. Is this possible? I am using SSIS Version

Provide more details why you cannot use the data flow task for the processing.
Let me repeat . Loading millions of records in object variable will not work.

Change mail "from" field when share a document get stuck into account selection

Hi All,
When I use an application and I try to share a document by mail e popup window appears. Now if I try to change the "from" (I have two mail accounts configured on iOS) the current window is replaced with the list of all available "sender" mail addresses, but, from here, it's impossible to get back to the "share by mail" window!
See the images in sequence:
Step 1. Share a doc
Step 2. Tap on "From" field:
Step 3. Change "sender" and get stuck
At this point I can only kill the application!
This doesn't happens when the share by mail window is as big as the iPad screen!

Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Email "from field" is connected to apple id?

Hi,
I have two separate apple id, one for myself and one for my family.
I use the ipad1 and iphone 4 while my family use the ipad2 and the iphone 3.
I authorise the imac to allow my apps to also be available for my family.
I am wondering if this is causing the following problem.
When my family send mails out mail from the ipad2, which is a separate email then my personal email, the mail sent out show that it is from the family account but when you open the email it shows that it is being send from my personal account.
I have checked the mail account settings in the ipad2 and it is setup only for the family account.
Any idea what is wrong?

Problem solved. Under SMTP, other then the primary server, there was also smtp server setup for gmail. Some how that got in the way and causes the sent mail from my family email to use my personal gmail account. After removing that other SMTP servers email, the sent email has the correct From field.

Printer driver for workforce 645 was updated yesterday and printer no longer works, driver is no longer available from apple or epson.l

When i go to the epson website it says the printer driver is available from apple. When i go to the printer selection it sees the printer but says that apple has no drivers for this printer. In the updates section of the app store it shows that the printer driver was update yesterday.
